I managed to reach paragon 800+ using this method, and am currently in the top 100 in the world for paragon levels. this is by no means a secret formula, but rather a collection of tips. Considering this will be nerfed in 2.1, I figured I would make a quick guide on how to take advantage of this efficient route to get some paragoning in before 2.1
I posted about this exploit in previously (Not on this specific forum), but Blizzard fixed that method. I found a work around in which you obtain the exact same amount of XP / Hour, which is absolutely insane. Here is the method step by step:
Edit: Although it is a nice effective way to powerlevel a new character (one you may not have ever played otherwise),I do not like seeing this kind of thing in the game, so the more attention it receives, the more likely Blizzard is to hotfix it.
FAQ: does this work for paragoning as well as leveling characters from 1-70? Yes it indeed does work for both. It's currently the most efficient (by far) known method to do so.
Can you do it with more then one friend/character at the same time? You can power level up to three characters at the same time, as long as they are on separate accounts (obviously :P)
I'm not getting the 18mil xp per quest as shown in the video, is it nerfed? No it is not nerfed (yet). Unless you are doing it wrong, you most likely are not level 70 like I am in the video. The XP scales upward as you level up.
If you don't want to level to 70 repeatedly, don't cheat, just play softcore.
How is it cheating? It's exploiting. There is a big difference. Blizzard makes the rules, and we as players, follow them. If they don't like what we are doing, they will change the rules.

More than likely. But you never know. I don't care if they nerd the xp of the shades and grims, I just hope they don't nerf the density. It's so fun!><
Mod Disclaimer:the latest PTR patch notes show a reduction to Shadow Vermin by 50%. The area should still be good for xp-farming, but the numbers could be off.
I'm not sure how popular this zone is yet, but I haven't seen anything on it. This is, in my opinion the greatest zone in the game right now, hands down. The video says it all. Check it out - Feeback is always awesome!

Nice video, personally I find rushing to 100 pointless as I see this as a "side" reward for trying to reach other objectives. But nice video.

I'm kind of addicted to maximizing xp so its hard for me not to get excited over routes like this! lmao. but your right,alot of people only view the paragon system as a bonus side quest - which i think is probably the best way to go about it. more enjoyable id say?

Just wanted to share this amazing route with you guys. INSANE experience!! I've never seen a faster run. This is taking FULL advantage of 1.0.7's xp curve and it was actually used (and possibly pioneered?) by a barb from euro who managed to level from zero to Paragon 100 in 80 hours of gametime! Check it out and maybe test it out and lemme know how it works for ya! Cheers!
edit: will be doing a follow up vid covering minimal budget gear / follower - i like making vids short and sweet for those who don't have time/dont enjoy watching those grueling 10-20 minute vids so i left it out

I thought my previous paragon route (posted a few days ago: http://www.diablofan...then-alkaizers/) was the fastest possible. But after a few more days of testing, I came up with a route 10% quicker then my last one. That's 30% faster then Alkaizers famous route! Check out the video of the route, its a few minutes long and gets straight to the point. I also included stats this time as alot of people wanted to see my log. Let me know what you fellow redditers think, as feedback is always much appreciated!
The Route:
After nearly a month of constant testing and statistical analysis (I logged all my runs in each specific area in act 3 - exp, time, and elites). I used these stats to build the most effecient run possible. After testing and tweaking the run, I compared it to the all famous Alkaizer run. The outcome was the same every run: Around 20% on average more exp per hour then doing the classic Alkaizer run (Which I also ran through quite thoroughly and in the same fashion). Check out my short video, which I explain the run and share some of my findings. Feedback would be awesome!! Cheers guys!
ps. 20% of 10 billion xp (Paragon 100) is alot of hours of grinding act 3... Just sayin' -hehe.

With a great connection and a decent computer, this method can be used for up to 5 Billion XP/hour, which is the highest known amount of XP/Hour available in the game BY FAR. Abuse it while it's still available
