I love the skill! reverse kiting all the way to Siegebreaker ftw. I don't use it too often though, mostly just in groups. Solo I prefer BL for the AoE. Screaming Skull can be too expensive if you're missing a lot. If you get your crit chance over 40% Lightening Bolt becomes better crowd control, especially if you have tanks in the party.

Considering how much you pay for it, it's only really worth it if you can't upgrade your remaining gear for less gold either. Personally I got myself a MF one with fairly high Dex and Vit for way cheaper than most +Disc ones. My head also has a socket (MF gem) and my ring MF/Vit rolls. Only the boots don't have MF since you cannot roll Dex and MF as far as I know.
My set up is similar, I have 79 dex + socket and MF on the ring, socketed helm, and I think I'm going to invest in boots with dex, as that seems to be the best upgrade for the money right now. I'll look into MF on the cloak as that sounds interesting as well. Thanks!

I would get rings and gloves with critical hit chance, 32% is pretty low if you're using Archery and a 1h xbow. The more critical hit chance you get, the more effective your critical hit damage gear will be. Also, I notice you don't post stats for your Nat's gear. I understand if you're slowly picking up the whole set, but even with the two piece bonus, there are probably better pieces that could go in those slots until you get the boots and ring. The 7% critical hit chance you will lose can be more than offset with a 7.5%+ pair of gloves.

Thanks for the responses guys. I recently found a one handed weapon that sold for 150 million, so I decided this would be a fun investment, if perhaps not the most effective gear for the money. Fun, that is what I bought this game for in the first place so I'm pretty happy with my decision. I already have the whole set, minus the bow, but I'm thinking that if I eventually switch to a dual wield build, I'll lose my +disc from my quiver. Just trying to gauge if anyone else running this set would consider the 35 million intro price for a +8 disc cloak worth it. Yeah... it's a lot of gold.

Prices are skyrocketing on these items. I'm curious if anyone using this set finds the extra discipline handy when you need to burn a lot. Also, seems pretty important if you want to dual wield, as decent 1h xbows with high crit and +disc are going to be very expensive.

I guess I'm relatively lucky here. I have found Inna's Blessing, which I kept and am using, and a highish dex Blackthorne's Scabbard, which I sold for 15 million. ~300 hours played over 3 characters.

It is bugged, but not in the way you think. If you want to keep coming up with your own idea of how it should work thats fine, but it's been explained more than a few times already how it actually works.

Sit down and do the calculations yourself, or forever bask in ignorance.

How does it work with a holy damage weapon?
The same way as it would with any other elemental damage. It calculates it's bonus off of your non-elemental minimum damage. So a weapon with the same minimum damage values and the same elemental damage, be it holy, fire, arcane, etc, will get the same bonus.

I wanted to share one more thing that I think might be useful. While looking at bow upgrades today, I was doing this calculation, and found that a 2h bow (not xbow) normally has a minimum damage very close to the minimum added elemental damage. The result ends up usually being Inna's Blessing adding a mere 6 min/max damage. My xbow gets about 26 min/max. Just something to think about if you're shopping. A bow without any elemental damage is going to benefit much more from Inna's bonus.

Excuse me but reading your post got me a little confuse. Are you saying you get more min/max from Inna on xbow while you get only 6 on bow? Isn't more better? Therefore wouldn't xbow w/o ele dmg be better than bow w/o ele dmg?

Yes, absolutely. A xbow without any elemental damage will net the best bonus. A standard bow with elemental damage will yield the least bonus. Of course, it is bugged right now so you can get the bonus of a weapon without elemental damage using the method described earlier in the post, but it will probably be fixed someday. I just think it's important to be aware of if you decide to use a bow over a xbow.

Even though you're wearing a Helm of Command with 8% chance to block, without a shield your block amount is 0-0... I don't think it's absorbing any damage when it procs.

You don't have any +discipline gear. That should probably be the first thing. Look for a chest piece with it, and/or a quiver. You probably want to keep or improve the crit chance on your new quiver. The dex can be made up for on other items, so you can lose a bit there to save some money.

posted a message on Inna's Glory & Blessing 2pc set
As was posted in the other thread, this is how Innna's calculates it's bonus:

(minimum weapon damage) - (minimum elemental damage, if you have any) * (% holy damage from belt) = x

add x to both the minimum and maximum damage values on your weapon. With my 1026 xbow, I get about +26 from my 6% belt. Important to to note, is that most bows have elemental damage which makes up for the majority of the weapon's minimum damage. the result is a bonus of either +5 or +6 damage, which is relatively small. If you can find a bow without elemental damage, it wil benefit from Inna's much more. If you have any rings or other items that add to your damage range, you need to add that to your minimum before you perform the calculation as well.

The bug with Inna's seems to be that if you equip a weapon without elemental damage, then the belt, and then your real weapon, it doesn't subtract the elemental damage from your newly equiped weapon. I would expect this to be fixed in a patch soon, and it does seem to be more buggy than just that, but I haven't figured out what else it's doing.

I found my belt, and picked up a one socket pair of pants for 400k, which makes it a great value. I do have a dex belt and dex/vit pants that net me about 1k more dps, but the +7 move speed is worth the difference to me.
