I have been buying less off the AH lately as I have gotten too the point where upgrades are selling at astronomical prices and I am not going to farm/buy gold top get them.
That doesn't solve anything really. I don't want to see a button that just swaps my gear out. I'd like for people to actually value MF as a stat on their main gear and not just have it on some crappy MF set they have to finish a boss off.
The faster they implement the MF changes the better so we can all get used to it and it can settle in.
We have enough bloody stats to think about as it is, without having to worry about magic find and gold find on top lol
As you all know, we monks have to make sure I have good levels of the following, just to survive:
- Dexterity
- Life on Hit
- All Resist
- A single Resist (eg. poison)
- Attack Speed
- Critical Hit Chance
- Critical Hit Damage
- Armour level
- Vitality
That's the WHOLE point of the system!
Magic Find is supposed to be about sacrificing one of those in exchange for higher loot drops.
Hard to believe that some do not quite understand that concept....
I recently had the same exact (stats and all) legendary helm drop from two consecutive mobs, all within 30 seconds. Same exact stats. It's probably just a fluke event but it seemed very interesting.
I had this exact thing happen to me yesterday on a rare helm. Had one drop off a an elite pack and about 30 seconds later the exact helm dropped off a trash mob.
One of the reasons he is forced to keep them off screen is that he does not use teleport so if get trapped by a Vortex, waller, jailer, teleport pack is is basically gonna die as he has no means of escape.
Having teleport will allow you to keep them on screen. As for what rune you use I am not really sure. Some suggest fracture while others swear by wormhole and you may want to use the illusionist passive.
I'm amazed the game went live with such an obvious and glaring exploit. It seems like Blizzard lowers the bar on a daily basis these days.
I agree with you. What disappoints me is from reading the blue post about this is that the development team admitted that this was gaming the system but decided to leave it in as they thought it was fun.
definately sounds like they need to encourage coop play in inferno, the monsters would be harder and therefore = should be better loot, even if ever so slightly, it would encourage team play even when ''''farming'''' and discourage being a loner.
Uh .. no... do not be forcing coop on me. I played D1 solo, I played D2 solo and I prefer to play this game solo. I have no problems with them coming up with incentives for people to coop but not come up with ways to "discourage being a loner"
like i said, just a mild item drop buff, not to make it impossible for solo players to find stuff, but how else would you encourage coop once it comes to just item finding? ( ''farming'')
