Wait a sec - so level 0 will be the current level we are playing now ?
I was wondering the same thing as I could have sworn that they stated the monster level would also allow you to make the game easier as well as harder.
well, I will have to agree it is a scam. I would never complete a trade without first inspecting the item I was buying to ensure it is what it is supposed to be.
I am excited just for the fact that we are almost guaranteed a good item from a boss that we kill. I know there are a lot of bad legendary's out there, but having one automatically drop from a mob? That gives me something to grind for and group with friends for..
The funny thing about this thread is the guy who made this topic just wants hits on his YouTube channel AND
is trolling you hard. All the while blizzard is laughing their ass off. You want more legendaries? Wear more mf
Yep .. funny thing is that this "loot server" theory has been around since early August.and has been laughed off/locked every forum that it was brought up on. I agree with your statement in its' entirety.
I think the drop rate is just find. I have my good runs and I have dry spells. Random is random but some things can make a difference such as MF, where you farm and how much time you put into farming.
The internet is way too conducive to promoting bullshit theories.
heh .. yeah, I think it is time I start a new one for myself. Think i will say that I have determined that you get an extra 5% chance of finding a legendary for every paragon lvl you get. I am lvl 32 paragon and maybe that is why I find at least three legendaries a day. (no I have not checked the ip as I think the whole theory is out there)
Hey, it is no more outrageous than saying Blizzard is intentionally seeding certain servers to drop more legendaries than others.
The placebo effect is in full force on this one .. lol
oh .. and if this is an exploit and/or bug I assume all of those logging/re-logging to get the lower ip servers are doing what they are supposed to do reporting this to Blizzard right? I thought so ... lol
Personally I think this whole issue is just hogwash... For those that actually believe this issue exists can you please state what Blizzard has to gain by designing such a loot system?
I wish people would stop using the term "drop rate". The drop rate is fine. I get tons of rares farming. I believe "quality" of the drops is the issue and not drop rate. I know it is just semantics but it irks me .. lol
I am curious though. At what rate do people think they should be getting that high quality rare? 1 in every 100 drops? 50? 25? After determining that, how does Blizzard go about tuning the system to meet it? I do not think believe understand how much effort goes into trying to come up with a system that works for everyone. I do not think it is as simple as upping the min cap on all items although maybe it is...
