Hey all. Is it worthwhile gambling bloodshards for an Ancient Furnace or should I rely solely on traditional farming? Spending thousands of shards regularly with no success so just thought I'd pose the question rather than continue aimlessly. Thanks!

The chance is microscopic, But its the same with farming, no bigger chance. So if you want your Furnace, go for it. Farm for it, and spend your bloodshards. GL dude. You might get lucky on your nest gamble :)

"no success", RNG is RNG. 75 shards could be enough for a furnace, even an ancient one. This thread is stupid.

Was just curious what would be more worthwhile focusing on when gambling, based on others opinions. I wasn't asking when I would get a Furnace...

Thanks for your stupid response though.

Oh, hi, thanks again for your stupid post.

Yes exactly, how can ANYONE answer if its worthwhile when its pure RNG? Do you understand what that means?

Do you need anything else besides a furnace? gamble that perhaps then. No one, NO ONE can answer WHEN you get it (This is exactly the same as if, since RNG is involved, so dont get f*cking smart, son).

I wish there was a button to dislike a post

I saw the video of that Monk clearing a T6 rift in 1.16 min.
Is there any build for a wizard that can produce that kind of burst?
He was lucky with the map, but the I was really impressed with the damage on the rift guardian.

But it seems like some stats are harder to roll than others?
It's like if you have 8 possible stats to get on your reroll. Some of them will show up again and again. While others never turn up.
It does not seem like there is an equal chance to roll all stats.

posted a message on Reduced Level Requirement question.
I am sorry to say that my beloved Lullaby died this Wednesday, may she rest in peace.

So, I have to level up a new seasonal HC Wiz. His name is SonovaGun btw.
The point is... I am a terrible slow levler. I have spent 3 hours getting to lvl 22 :) . You get the picture!

I have some gear in my stash that should be a good starting point at 70. And I have been checking with the enchanter that I can get a 30 level reducement . Does this apply to Yellow to?
    Can a Yellow have 30 levels? I haven't saved any Yellow's.
does it need to be at level 70? or does a 61 or under suffice? This leveling is boring stuff. And I wan't to get up where I left off, as soon as possible. By this rate, it's gonna take me the whole weekend :P

btw, If anyone has some yellow items with a reduced level requirement, (or any other that could fit a Wiz) for me to enchant, to donate, I will appreciate it
    Rampage#2953

Ps. the reason I am asking for Yellow's, I have very limited supplies of Forgotten Souls to enchant with.

posted a message on weapon dmg and torment lvl.
I was lucky enough to fin a couple of Thunderfury, and a WoW within a few hours of lvl 70 on season.
But all 3 of them are under 2100 dmg, is this because I hadn't reached Torment yet?
Does Torment affect the stats om your gear or the dmg on the weapons you find?
Reason for asking.. I saw this dude http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/DutchFreak-1920/hero/47348761 and he has a 2800 dmg Thunderfury on his templar. Didn't know that was posible, I have never seen a wep higher than 2400.

Unstable anomaly and Firebirds do actually proc separately. UA procs first and if you die again before it comes off CD, it pops your Firebirds. I have been in some bad packs where both go back to back and I die, but that's usually some molten fatties that chain explosions on me.
Thank you for clarifying, I have been wondering that my self.

    Howdy,

I don't play hardcore or seasonal, but i have been rocking a Woh build since i found one about 5 months ago. Surviving the center of one's own private explosion is difficult, considering how the goal is to draw all the enemies to you, but here is what i find works:

    • I have a mirror ball, but i generally don't use or magic missile for my current Firebird-Woh build. I use Spectral Blades, Barrier Blades. That rune pops a shield that absorbs @ 10500 damage each time you use your spectral blades ability.
    • I use Force Weapon, Deflection. It also pops a shield for @ 10500 damage absorption (i can't remember the trigger there)
    • I vary between 350k and 400k health for T6. You don't need much more than that because mitigation is more important. Focus on Armor and Resist all after you hit a comfortable amount of life.
    • I use Blur even though i'm not doing Hardcore. You almost certainly want that as you are in hardcore.
    • I don't use Unstable Anomaly because, as i understand it, both UA and Firebird's proc when you die, blowing both cooldowns. (someone pls check that?). However, even if death triggers both to activate, the UA has a 60 second cd, so it may still be worth it to you.
    • After those, i have two general pieces of advice on gear, one for Regular Rifts and one for Greater Rifts:
    IN REGULAR RIFTS:

If you have been lucky enough to find the Treasure Vault, you have a Boon of the Hoarder. If you slap that in a socket and use a Goldskin, you pretty much become invincible on higher Torments because the gold explosions from dying mobs hooks you up with about 20k-80k armor per explosion. Despite the 5 second CD on Goldskin, the CD gets reset every time you pick up gold, so if you are careful, you can run around a 1 minute long battle constantly increasing your armor and staying unkillable. Usually i leave patches of gold on the ground when i get near the time when the RG pops. This allows me to fight a running battle backwards through patches of invincibility (gold). Is it cheese? Totally. Does it work? :-)

    IN GREATER RIFTS:

If you happen to want to rock a woh build in Grifts or if you don't want to cheese the game with boon/goldskin, you should invest your shards in getting Kadala to cough up a String of Ears. It really makes you beefier.

    Hope this helps
    Hey Madrick.
I guess you where talking about Goldwrap?
I dont have that in Season :(
Thank you for many good advices :) (thumbs up)

posted a message on Need help with build, WoW and Thunderfury
I just leveled my Seasonal Hardcore to 70, have about 8-9 hours of lvl 70 gameplay. Prob less because of a lot of afk. Anyways, I got Wand of Woh and Thunderfury yesterday, and I am not really sure how to create a build around these 2 items. If you look at my profile (its at the bottom :) ), my ordinary HC is very defensive and depends a lot on CC.
I tried WoW, and didn't feel very comfortable standing in a crowd and explode. I guess that is just a question of CR and mitigation?
I feel more comfortable with Thunderfury, I can stand on a distance, and it procs a lot.

I am hoping for a good suggestion involving mirrorball, But any tip is welcome. I just love that 3 for 1 shot :D

Just for the record, I have about 1250 hours in this game, and I am a rookie. My max at ordinary HC is Grift 15, I was 30 seconds to late, but I still think it counts.. After all, I didn't die :)

I understood that I did something wrong after getting to lvl 18 in just over 2 hours. So I decided to give up on that 1000 first lvl 70 hardcore list
So I went out, got drunk, and consequently got laid... Still a happy camper :)
    How was your night?

all jokes aside.. less than 2 hours.. I can't help feeling a little exited :)

I am starting to belive that Vault doesnt exist...i killed more then 60+ pairs of goblins = 120+ goblins and non of them opened portal...so sad :(
From what someone said before, they won't open portals in rifts, only in adventure (bounty) mode.
Just saying in case you didn't know. Then again, I could be wrong :(

What do you guys feel is the average number of goblins to spawn a portal?

I assume that since there is 2 of them in a pair now, the chances are doubled.
