posted a message on Time to buff solo??

The issue is not how to find a group or clan. It's how extreme the disadvantage to play solo currently is.

Firstly solo play do not need to be more rewarding than multiplayer in any way.

There is a huge gap between making solo play more rewarding than multiplayer, and where this balance sits today.

Inheritly playing any games with friends offer a better experience than playing it by yourself for most players.

This alone is such a big factor, that multiplayer do not really need any other advantages or incentives to keep multiplayer the prefer mode in general.

But that's where Blizzard has fucked it up so badly, by adding way more incentives / rewards than needed to multiplayer.

XP gains, and loot sharing is the obvious carrots, but how a group simplifies the game when it starts to get difficult solo is what Blizzard should really consider.

The element of having 3 other players being targetted aswell, how mobs dont scale properly with number of players, how paradoxal support or zdps specs role is in a hack'n'slash game.

Blizzard should also really consider the reasons why some choose to play solo, why some actually enjoy playing the game as it was meant to be.

The ones who do not care about cheats/huds, "meta" or fanboying some youtubers / streamers.

Having the option to play solo when your friends is not available, with any spec or class you want.

Instead of having to get carried as a support since thats what they need for their circle-meta-jerk.

If just mutliplayer / soloplayer was balanced somewhat in regards of difficulty firstly,

it wouldn't feel as crippling to play solo, even if it yields abit less xp and loot.

posted a message on TH*d is back up and running

Not sure whats more stupid, advertising that this shait is available, or thanking for it...

Seriously people, coming to a fan site for a game to proclaim cheats for it makes no sense..

Go pay for some boost in WoW instead.

That is your opinion, my opinion is that it is very much needed...why is yours more valuable than mine did you pay more for the game ? I very much doubt that...

That Turbohud is a cheat is not an opinion. It is a fact. No 3.party applications are permitted.

An opinion is what you make out of it, but Turbohud always was and always will be a cheat. - It is no subjective point of view.

It shouldnt be different at all.

TH will tell you if its worth to stop and kill the nearby mobs or not - this benefit alone is gamebreaking vs the non-cheating players.

But as in diablo2 they had many banwaves of bots, before they came around and banned for maphack.

    TurboHud is no QoL.

It makes alot of various hidden information available to the cheater so they can abuse that information to make "better" choices.

Choices they would be unable to make without cheating to get the parameters they need.

The Maphack portion of TH alone should suffice for bans, and then there is heaps of additional cheats bundled along.

    Quote from Zero(pS)»

Lots of players supported some THud features, but most agreed that the "maphack" aspect of it hurt the competitive part of D3 (even though some people really defended that too). In the end, in most discussions, people were divided about whether or not it could even be considered cheating.

In the end, in most discussions, the cheaters defended their cheating. No reasonable argument was ever presented that THUD in any way was not a cheat.

Nope, any program manipulating the game is a cheat, regardless of the users preferance of calling it UI modifications or addons.

There are indeed different kinds of cheats and cheaters. But most of them are admitting that they cheat and willingly take the risk.

But the Thudders deny this, they justify it (mostly to themself) and are not willing to see it from any other point of view.

Its not that any legit player do not understand the cheaters desire to use such programs.

This is just like when a couple from cloud9 got caught using aimbot/wallhacks in the OW beta finals, it "only" made their "skill or game" better.

That a widespread cheat like THUD gets stopped this way is only adding some more integrity to the game.

How developing the most rampant cheat has affected his real life (KJ), is just the results of his own choice. He decided to go hack diablo3 to develop a cheat tool, so he more than deserve every flame or sleepless night he got for it.

Best news since the banwaves :) Hopefully the creator of that cheat keeps it down this time.

posted a message on I am baffled by Blizzard's incompetence

It took them 8 years from release to achieve that run though. And in comparison to hc GR70 or so in "D3-difficulty" its not really that much of an achievement.

Just playing D2 and D3 solo, as intended, Diablo 2 is harder by miles just to play through the difficulties.
