posted a message on Fastest way to gear up alts?

Gearing up is so fast regardless, it usually just takes 2/3 days from a season start when everyone is fresh.

The fastest way to gear up = Play the game.

posted a message on Armory question

People managed fine without armory aswell not so long ago.

When 5 is not enough allready, it is kinda a problem you create for yourself.

And if you actually play alot, those characters would have had their own gems leveled, and no issue present with gem swapping between them.

posted a message on Season 9 Meta

The Meta problem is indeed getting bigger and bigger by the seasons.

Which is probably what cause alot of players getting turned off, blizzard should indeed strive for better balance and solve this meta problem.

Running support or "zero dps" is just not giving the same feel of being a mighty nephalem slaughtering demons.

This feeling together with the loot hunt is what made Diablo games into what they are, remove both and the game feels alot different than it should.

    IMO.

The droprates are fine, it is kadala and the cube that really kills the loot-hunt.

posted a message on Please devs end your solo play hatreds been pushed to

One thing is why group play should be more rewarding, which very few have problems understanding.

Why group play is balanced to be so much easier is a totally different matter.

It was way better when there was trial rifts, and people had to do GR100 before joining a GR101 group.

posted a message on Rune words and charms

The runes gave you a way of farming for an specific item, without gambling or relying on RNG to give you the right one.

Most of the players didnt really farm runes, but those who did found it more enjoyable than levling gems for augments.

Sadly Blizzard was unable to parse the feedback on the runeword system correctly.

They took the executive decision that runewords was bad in concept, because teleport from Enigma felt too good to pass on for most.

This is the only reasoning you can find of why Runewords was scrapped from D3.

Having an alternative to RNG'ish drops and gambles (Kadala) was only good for the game.

posted a message on THUD got hacked?!

Honestly, moderators (not only in this thread) has defended and supported the usage of the cheat in question here for a long time.

That you find that to be an outragous accusation is just not very believable,

Statements like "in my opinion if nobody re-develops something like Thud or if Killerjohn doesn't come back, this will result in a dead game."

Is it mediating or moderating ?

Is it supporting the game or the cheat ?

And this is far from the only example, just read the older threads about cheaters / THUD.

    Quote from Zero(pS)»

Lots of players supported some THud features, but most agreed that the "maphack" aspect of it hurt the competitive part of D3 (even though some people really defended that too). In the end, in most discussions, people were divided about whether or not it could even be considered cheating.

In the end, in most discussions, the cheaters defended their cheating. No reasonable argument was ever presented that THUD in any way was not a cheat.

Nope, any program manipulating the game is a cheat, regardless of the users preferance of calling it UI modifications or addons.

posted a message on THUD got hacked?!

There are indeed different kinds of cheats and cheaters. But most of them are admitting that they cheat and willingly take the risk.

But the Thudders deny this, they justify it (mostly to themself) and are not willing to see it from any other point of view.

Its not that any legit player do not understand the cheaters desire to use such programs.

This is just like when a couple from cloud9 got caught using aimbot/wallhacks in the OW beta finals, it "only" made their "skill or game" better.

That a widespread cheat like THUD gets stopped this way is only adding some more integrity to the game.

How developing the most rampant cheat has affected his real life (KJ), is just the results of his own choice. He decided to go hack diablo3 to develop a cheat tool, so he more than deserve every flame or sleepless night he got for it.

posted a message on ASking for opinions

Just the power gain from bringing along the "support" squad along with your 1 dps, should be more than enough incentive to encourage group play.

Having the XP multipliers, and poorly mob scaling just makes the rewards differ too much.

There is no good reason why solo play should be so much more unrewarding than group play.

posted a message on Group play is really bad in d3

Just no. There is no good reason that "support-class" exist. That class should be a balanced dps, who just brings those buffs which now labels them as support along with their dps.

Bringing a barbarian "only for Battle Orders & Shout" in diablo 2 was in no shape or form same as bringing a support class.
