- Get armor items with str, vit, all resist for starting. Some additional physical resist on items is nice as well. Some crit/critdmg if you can afford it.
- Get a Sacred Shield (those big white shields with ilvl63) with extra %block and a high block chance.
- a cheap Helm of Command helps a lot, even if stats suck
For stats I say buffed 1k+ resi, 9-10k armor (with Enchantress) and a high block chance will do. As for HP, the higher the better because all your heals scale with your HP.
And for Life on Hit... either you go full Life on Hit (800+) or not at all, because low values don't really help. But with Sword and Board this will be difficult.
Remember that you have to get hit in order to proc Revenge... dodges don't count but blocks do (afaik). And for Revenge (and Furious Charge w/ Dreadnought) to heal you, you have to hit targets.
E.g. Azmodan alone is difficult, Azmodan with adds = piece of cake because they don't do much damage but allow you to heal for more and also proc Revenge more often. Adds are your friend ^^
How much gold will all that gear cost roughly?
And just the shield alone?
I can not stand to lose Battle Rage tho, its a 10k dps increase and it seems i need earthquake for act 2
Is my dps atm good enough for act 2, is all that's needed more resist?
I tried act 2, managed to kill one pack but kept dying afterwards
I think I need more life and just resist maybe?
I'm really not sure about the dps tho, with BR and WotB active I get 90k dps

Recently I made the switch from tank to dps as suggested by most
But I'm still finding it very hard to solo elites even in act 1, act 2 is a no go
Can any 2H dps give some tips out there
I also have spare gear which I've also shown there, that's some of my left over tank gear, as I think my main problem lies in my resist being too low, not really sure so I'm just keeping it in case I need to stack some resist, I've already changed my shoulders from the dps ones to the resist ones, and I'm really low on gold so buying gear is not really an option as I'd like to be able to solo farm act 1 to get more gold in order to buy more gear.
I just have one question, great guide, and I will follow it to better my Barb, right now he can not touch act 2
But the question I have here, since you didn't use all the gold abuses like me at the start, how did you make all that gold and how long did it take you?
