The nostalgia excuse generally comes from people who weren't addicted to Diablo II. There were a ton of people addicted to Diablo II and I'm sorry if you weren't one of them, but don't tell other people who remember the game quite clearly that "memory just works like that." So because someone's opinion on D2 is different than yours it must be because of nostalgia. Oh, okay. Makes complete sense now where all the nostalgia preachers are coming from.
