They'd lose alot of their gamers... 2 - 3 years is enought time for kids to go on and focus on college / work / etc. Theyre VERY lucky to have the fanbase they do, so theyre going to work very hard and quickly. Alot of you need to be OPtimistic... I mean.. the main complaint is the Contrast... NOT the gameplay, NOT the storyline.. but the frikkin lighting.

Anyway... I think that SC2 will come out soon, and in the sc2 package will be a small advertisement for diablo 3.. which means it'll be coming soon after sc2.

I cant help but feel like the WOW comparison is more of a "follow the leader" response from alot of people here.

The STASH won't make D2 like WOW... cmon now...

Hmm.. so Tyrael's whereabouts are unknown for 20 years is what we're left to assume right? I really think that a piece of the worldstone pierced Tyrael.. and he forced himself into hiding to contain Diablo's spirit. Maybe the meteor was his boiling point, which caused Diablo to take over.

So its been a couple years since I've really played. Tyrael created a portal for the hero to escape, and he stayed behind, correct? Tyrael is stronger than Inarius (according to the Trilogy). Inarius controls elements... thats actually simple for him... so Tyrael can just as easily do it..

When the WS broke apart... is it possible that Tyrael was pierced by a flying piece of the WS... which IS a larger part of the three brother's soulstone?

Lets not forget that Diablo will have to be reborn by taking over a body.... a STRONGER body...

What if during the collapse of the worldstone ... diablo's soulstone was infused with some of the worldstone fragments (which could have some ice type power(?) lol...), which would explain why he's frozen?

Or maybe a sorcerer... or an angel (Tyrael / Inarius) with elemental powers finds a fragment of the soulstone... somehow crams it on his forehead? (lol) etc. etc.

Of all things... why would it ACCIDENTALLY say Diablo 3? It could have just as easily said Fruity Pebbles 3000 or some other random BS. I think that no one was supposed to see the D3 discussion in the dropdown, and they just messed up. I can bet you everything that Blizzard has spies in all of these forums and a couple saw this site and said "oh shit"! And that only gave Blizzard more room to fuck around w/ us, meanwhile covering up their mistake.

P.S. I wonder how many times Diablo 3 has been put in a search engine lately... I cant even type in 'dia' w/o all of these d3 things comin up.

The hype this year completely trumps last year's hype. If blizzard is full of complete idiots (which I doubt), then we'll be let down this year. Even if they didnt have plans on working on it before last spring, the hype from last year's blizzcon could / would have inspired them to get to work ASAP.

All I'm saying is... Blizzard wants money... THAT is their primary goal (alongside creating amazing games... which ties into making money). In order to do that, they must satisfy their fanbase. It is MUCH easier to make money from your fanbase, than move on and create a brand new game and create a completely new fanbase... so LOGICALLY and OBVIOUSLY, blizzard would not be dumb enough to rid themselves of the fanbase that basically set their reputation for their Hack n Slash genre. An amazing chunk of their fanbase was brought to them through Diablo. Theyre gonna monitor the HELL outta these forums... watching everything we say that we would and wouldnt like about D3, and adjust accordingly. Theyre going to probably send a couple blizz workers in as "fans" and get the inside scoop on what the fans want and need... if thats not obvious... idk..

Think of blizzard as a celebrity. Many people create fansites with a celebrities name in the url posting pics, and sometimes untrue blogs. Some fansites even have moderators pretending to be the celebrity, again, posting false statements. Celebrities have the right to sites like those because their name is copywritten... but do they take it down? Uhhh no... because that'd be a waste of time... a waste of their damn time... and ummm.. ITS FREE PUBLICITY?!?!? The only domain they would take is the one they would use to create THEIR professional fansite. I hope that analogy makes sense.. lol.. i can ramble from time to time:rolleyes:
