If people are really going to throw money at her for her looks, they already have more dollars than sense. I'm not sure why you're all wasting your time getting upset over it here when she already has her teeth in a few dozen nerd wallets. While I can't agree with the method, it is sadly working.

That did nothing but destroy the gold economy and force players to buy gold.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Ill try to expain you a little about where the problem actually is:
1) Your survival
You currently have 3.3k armor and 200 AR, which is an effective 5.3k armor. Monks and barbs usually have 7-8k armor (which alone is more survival than what you got) and 800-1000 AR, resulting in as much as 18k effective armor.
Drop some HP (60k is too much TBH) and get some more AR and even armor.
I actually have about 6k armor and 800 res without a shield as a monk. That's not even counting the 50% armor buff.

So we're all starting mid tier? That's a bit odd. Seems like a fancy way of increasing loot drops.Quote from ZeroEdgeir
You missed the point that Ruppgu made.
Yes, at Power Level 1, (baseline), enemies will do 25% less damage to us, and our defensive skills are weaker.
Blizzard blue post directly stated that a Power Level of 2 or 3 will put MONSTERS back to the strength they are in 1.0.4, while you still have the defensive skill changes of 1.0.5.
So, you now have the new defensive cooldowns, while they are doing the same damage they were doing BEFORE that change.

It's a long time since people needed nova, its a waste of dps to use it, not like people die nowadays.
True, but in public/group games it's pretty damn nice. As a monk I drop most of my defensive CDs and go for straight DPS/buff status to drop some wicked damage. The other day I was in a group, on my monk, with a wizard and two WDs. I'd drop cyclone strike to suck everything in, the wizard would freeze spam and the two WDs would spam AOE to straight melt groups. We managed to clear act 3 in the matter of a few hours.

NFL is still using terrible refs that haven't the slightest clue what they're doing. I don't see baseball having any issues. For the most part everything seems to be fairly smooth over there. However, the fact they're moving teams around is pretty weird.Quote from Tralari
What's with sports and lockouts lately? First NFL, then NBA, now NHL? I guess MLB is next?
Sep 3, 2012The quote is actually from the movie Network (1976) and was actually even used in the Zeitgeist movies. While I can appreciate the video, I feel the real message from the movie is scaled down way too much when used in something like this.Posted in: Off-Topic

Quote from snowhammerIts not fun really at all to have no chance to find your own upgrades.. and instead just grind gear to buy upgrades.. just not the way I'd like to play.
I've found all of my gear, never bought a thing from the AH.
It never ceases to amaze me that people deliberately take a shortcut and then complain that the journey wasn't long enough.
You apparently can't read. Their problem is that they never find any upgrades for themself, but instead have grind items they can't use and sell them to buy the gear they can. And calling the AH a shortcut? Really? Is trading items with other people also taking a shortcut? Also, in my personal experience of a couple hundred hours on my monk, I've managed to come across two items that I could even call an upgrage.

Breakables should be de-nerfed. Yeah, bots are a problem, so deal with them directly. They should add your NV idea while they're at it. I've often wondered why my NV stacks mean nothing to a resplendent chest.
Yea, just add a captcha every time you want to punch a barrel.

It just doesn't feel like Diablo when you're actively encouraged to ignore breakables and chests due to reduced efficiency ( because 99.99999999...% of the time they are useless ).
But they're so pretty when they blow up!
But seriously, they're rare spawn chests that should have something special in them. No one is asking for a guarenteed 63 rare or anything, but it needs to have some sort of benefit. Maybe a rare chance to drop some higher level gems or something fancy like that. You find maybe 5-6 in an entire act? I just did a full clear of act 3 the other take and it took me a few hours to clear, but I only came across about that.

- No more enrage timers on elites.
- Elites will no longer heal to full health
- They want to make all items that drop be good, however this is not something they can fully do in 1.0.4. However weapons of ilvl 61 and 62 can now roll damage that extends all the way to top ilvl 63 weapons

How many games are DX11 at all? Consoles don't run games like current PCs, so we're not getting games that really exploit much of the current tech. Once you see the new consoles we'll definately jump into some real hardware usage, but until then, it's pretty much a rarity.
Jun 18, 2012Go to the d3 community site and log in. After that, you'll note your current character selected under the search box. Click on that and click the option "Manage Characters" and then click on the name with your D3 icon next to it. This should allow you to post on the forums.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
