I did it guys. Was like you said. After passing the second stage, the third was the same as the first. I was dying a lot more for my greed to try banging him than hit and run. The moment that I understand the most important thing is hit and run as much as possible I passed the second stage and reaching the third round for the first time, I could beat him.
Thanks for the tips, now that I took that weight from my back (I was scared to death of not do it before the nerf) I'll try to improve my items as recommended by you

Sorry my bad english, I'm form Brazil and still learning ^^

Congrats! Ph1+Ph3 is a total joke. You can "bang" it out, but I found the safer route probably the best approach because PH2 is a nightmare with some bad RNG.

PH2 = pop raining vengeance/stun+stand there and nuke him with NT/SS spam. Run around for full disc, hatred, cooldowns before 66% and 33%. Watch minimap for Diablo's icon to disappear to know that your shadow clone will spawn.
In all phases, stay away from outside edge, fissures/cracks, mountains, etc. to prevent diablo from teleporting. You can kite him all day until you're ready.

    Whether in RMAH or AH.

Can someone give me some ideas? will appreciate alot.

Wrong forum, but probably about 3-4 million since its sockable so someone can put a high end LOH gem if needed. IAS is being nerfed so the DPS will prob drop quite a bit on the next patch.

Six minutes and thirty seconds from end of first cutscene until Diablo kneels. Wrath of Berserker has 100% up-time. 8% life steal and 700 life on hit sustains health while standing in fire. Three dead party members.

I have constant uptime on WotB because I have Thrive on Chaos rune, and I'm constantly gaining fury through crits with Into the Fray and dumping fury through Sprint and Battle Rage.

    Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/rrowland

    Enjoy.

Cool--but you do realize Diablo is one of the easiest kitable boss? Shit, he won't even teleport to you if you don't touch the edges or the mountain. But I suppose this was suppose to be a solo Barb attempt neways?

posted a message on 50 mil to spend, what should I upgrade?
    Quote from Hexaholic

I have been farming the past couple of days, and have decided it's time to get myself some better gear. I have yet to finish Inferno, and would like to pre patch 1.0.3. I have roughly 50 mil to spend.

Those are my current stats. Sitting at 124k dps with SS, (yes, I know this doesnt' really count). My weapon is decent, and I have a 150 dex/vit 12%AS quiver. I was thinking of either buying maybe like a Nat's Mark, some better legs with Dex on them, plus the sockets, and maybe some better gloves. Or maybe a super awesome weapon. I'm torn, would love any help.

Buy a slow 2H xbow w/ a socket preferrably in the 1350-1500 DPS range. Make sure it does not have IAS as it will be nerfed in the next patch heavily. Weapon is your biggest upgrade.

Can someone tell me the price of this helm? I play a wizard so I have no clue what it costs and there is nothing close on the AH with this much stats.

    Ty in advanced

Missing crit chance, but easily 500k-1M. I sold 100+ intel helm with 16% mf+socket for 1M. I am rolling with a 18% mf helm w/ 23% mf gem. It only has str/vit sadly. My other helm for dps/mf set is when not using Andariel is a 130dex+11%mf+19% mf gem.

IAS nerf is definitely coming. The patch note was datamined, but there is a chance it won't be that drastic. We shall see though. 3m+ for a pair of boots that will be nerf is a lot to swallow. Keep in mind those other set of IAS boots should be fixed on the next patch hopefully. I forgot their name but theyre part of a set, and do not have MS.

posted a message on Why on my DH are there ALWAYS DR?
Depending on other elite affixes, reflect damage is no problem (ie, fast affix just suck in general, but if you can kite it, you can kill it). I run with two bows, one with LOH+socket w/ LOH gem. My bow is actually about 15k less dps but its worthwhile. I have a 1250 dps xbow, and the bow is like 850 dps. It was a random rare I found, so i didn't go out and buy it. It serves its purpose. it has +878 LOH and another +190 from the gem.

I only have 288 passive life regen from a set of bracers I have.

My tip is as follow: Get a few shot off with hungering arrow, than spam 3-4x nether tentacle and pop smoke screen just before they land. Repeat and rinse. Use potion as required. But basically you just heal yourself up with nether tentacle, or wait on your regen.

TLDR: 1. GET LOH WEAPON W/ LOH GEM. 2. GET LOH ON ARMOR. 3. GET LIFE REGEN.

Scoundrel for dps/crit% boost. Love seeing those yellow damage text!
Doesn't die as much as the templar or enchantress, so aura is up most of the time.
    Blind is surprisingly good.

    Templar is useless.
Enchantress is decent, but dies more than scoundrel. With IAS being nerfed, maybe her aura will be amazing. I don't use the charm because I find myself just killing everything so fast short of elites.

Always use the AH filters for locating legendaries with IAS.

    Set it to all armor.
Set it for lvl range of the item, ie: lvl 38-38.
    Set for IAS
Set for any other stats or price you want to filter

This way you will never buy a piece of armor from the AH that has the broken attack speed for say when you search for bojanglers. People see low prices on those DEX Bojangles and buy it immediately thinking some moron put it up there for cheap, but the cheap ones are always broken.

On a side note, I got my bojangles for 50k back like 2 weeks after launch. :) Now they're going for 3M+ eaisly. I've fallen for the broken IAS sadly, but I've recouped those cost.

posted a message on How to Kill Inferno Shadow Clones with DH
Clone comes out at 100%, 66%, and 33% I believe. Your best bet is to watch the mini map for Diablo's icon to disappear because your shadow clone will shortly appear after that. You can pre-emptive with rain of vengeance, and spam SS when your clone appear. Don't bother running, just mash your nether tentacle or impale. I like impale personally for the speed+burst. I like the 100% damage to crit especially. Additionally, since you know where to run around the map w/o causing Diablo to teleport on you, you can just run around until you have full hatred, discipline, and all your cooldown refresh before triggering shadow clone spawning.

Rofl @ people thinking this can sell for 20+ millions.

Apparently you're not an end-game DH because definitely will sell for 20M. I paid 11M for the one 50-60 dex and no socket!!! :( End game, there are only so many upgrades you can get, and to get those, you have to pay an obscene premium or get extremely lucky. When you're sitting on a stockpile of cash, those are the kind of investment you gotta make to squeeze another 1-3k dps out of your items. As far as luck, I saw a 150dex pants w/ 2 socket that sold for 200k yesterday. I was about to click on it myself. Those run for 2-4m easily, if not more. I've learned in this game, if it looks like a good deal, BUY IT. Stop theorycrafting for a moment because someone will get it before you. For huge upgrade that go up to 10-20m, THEORYCRAFT!! Put that on the spreadsheet!

Not bad for dps but you need to have more stats when you start buying more expensive bows.

wat. A weapon is the first thing you should spend millions on. You got an OK deal with the one you have. The next weapon you buy (whenever that may be) should be 1250-1300 DPS or more, possibly with a socket, so you're looking at 6-10 mil for your next upgrade.

Max discipline is helpful when you're gearing up, but becomes less helpful as you become more geared. When you're doing more damage, things die faster, so you need to rely on SS less. Keep the other quiver for a while and see if you find yourself needing to SS more than you're able to. If so, switch back to the discipline quiver.

Where do you see a 1250-1300 dps bow with a socket for 6-10m? Honestly, it's more on the 25-100m mark right now. Without a socket, yeah around that price range.

I wish I got that 1400 dps bow that sold for 4m like 2 weeks ago. :( OH well!

well bounty hunter is basically the most faceroll counter to reflect dmg elites, so it has its uses

So I won't kill myself as much if I use bounty hunter??? Anyone use this regularly for reflect dmg pacts? I may drop caltrope in favor of this. Going to miss my 10% crit chance tho. :(

posted a message on Stepping away from Sharp Shooter and Hungering Arrow
    Quote from Kodachii

    http://us.battle.net...TlXV!Yce!bcZcZc

Nether tentacles are strong. Theyare the highest single target and aoe target damage. People use hungering arrow with nether tentacles thinking "kill them before they kill you", using hungering because it is the highest damage (spam) hatred generator.

Nether tentacles hits slow targets more times, potentially. If you don't believe me, try using NT on shire flowers, and then use NT on shire flowers under a 80% caltrops snare.

Cull of the weak is amazing paired with entangling shot. Given the two points above, these skills have amazing synergy with Nether Tentacles. If you have high attack speed, high crit, or both, you've realized how little sharpshooter does for you. You're geared now, sharpshooter was great when you had 5% crit chance using a slow 2h crossbow, but those days, thankfully, are over. So gain 15% static damage with COTW, or gain an extra smokescreen with night stalker (if you have 38 max disc). If there are two targets, entangling hits for double normal damage anyways, *always* guaranteed, also out damaging hungering, especially since it buffs it's own damage (second shot+ beyond) by 15% damage.

Gain damage, gain a snare, why aren't we doing this? No further explanation needed.

"Nearly" every rune for entangling is viable:
Chain Gang: aoe intense areas (less viable)
Shock Collar: Recently buffed (stealth buff? pretty sure) to 58% weapon damage per second, for two seconds. If you pop one every two seconds it does optimal damage and keeps COTW buffed for NT. It's not really for spamming, but still great damage.
Heavy Burden: Once you have huge damage, this is potentially the best option because you can kill things before running out of hatred is an issue, meaning more time spamming nether tentacle and fewer applications of entangling shot.
Justice is Served: Benefits you more the faster you attack. It's very viable for me, since I use a bow and have a ton of attack speed.
Bounty hunter: Not yet viable. Would need more gear, but I don't think it's even close to worth it vs the other options right now.

Anyone else noticed this? Any problems with what I'm saying? Let me know whatcha think.

This is more geared towards geared demon hunters, who like myself have enough crit/attack speed that sharpshooter is pretty much irrelevent, and those who not only have high damage, but are building a survivability set and don't like dying in one hit from random spears etc.

I am currently rolling with listed stats:
    92k dps
    23.5% crit
    96% crit damage
    45k hp
    400-600 resist all
    2500 armor

I am still sporting a beckon sail and boj anglers, and have far from perfect gear in other slots, though most of my gear is still pretty sick, to be honest. Ultimately I plan to replace my dinky, full out attack speed+dex items with high armor, high resist all, high dex, etc, and obviously everything can still improve beyond that.

I had liked evasive fire while leveling to 60, but the damage kind of fell off in the early day of inferno compared to devouring and it's seeking ability But now that I am geared, evasive fire makes clearing waves trivial. It is like a mini multi-shot, on top of that, it will shoot through wall, even the elite affixes. Which is nice because you can just spam evasive fire and hit them while they have themselves blocked off.

With elite pathing as well, you could stun them all with raining vengeance, get in a spot between the staircase and "terrain"/wall and they will stay there as they want to take a direct path to you. Not sure if exploit, but I found it handy in Act4 when kiting elites up a staircase. I just spam the heck out of them with evasive fire and pop smoke screen if they are mortaring. My only issue with evasive fire it make some boss fight suck a lot more due to them being range and draining your discipline, but its nothing you can't overcome.

Nether tentacle will always be in my toolkit except for fights like Diablo (I find impale's damage and speed great for bursting down my shadow clones). .

I've enjoyed jagged spikes for the most part in Act4, but I am really liking the baited rune. I am just doing so much more burst critting like a boss standing in the caltrope.
