    So .... yea.

I'm currently doing 4 Grift 70s, then logging on my freshly rolled 70 Wizard and gambling to get set pieces. Once I have the Tal Rasha / Vyr setup, I'll probably swap. Necro is / was fun, but let's face it. It's about speed. Reminds me of years ago in WotLK when my friend would grind out rep mats with his Shadow Priest ... while I cleared twice as fast with a Mage. Just isn't a point to play anything sub-optimal when this game is all about chain farming things as quickly as possible.

So I've been chain clearing Grift 55 (still have 60 tokens) and it takes anywhere from 4.5 to 6.5 minutes based on shrines, I typically don't die. Now I'm wondering after reading these responses ... if I'm going to stockpile a ton of resources, and they can be used on any character, and I can get a Wiz or DH to 70 in an hour and then it has all the paragon points ... why invest it in the Necro? Yea, it's fun, but it's not a top tier class and I haven't invested too much into it. Once it comes time to start pouring in thousands of souls to recraft legs, I'd rather do it on a character that I can clear REALLY quickly with. And on that note, I don't even think Inarius is the best anymore? So I'm currently hunting for ancient Inarius which might not even be optimal just for my class, let alone overall.

Why 8 minutes or under? That would put me at the point where I'm probably dying at least once, which takes away an upgrade, and would also seem less optimal. And if it's only going from 55 to something like 60, that can't possibly be worth it in terms of gear.

posted a message on Finished Grift 70, hit Paragon 500, not sure how to progress

Hello, I am not really sure how to play the game or what to do at this point.

First off, I'm on the PS4 version, so there's basically no multiplayer. I've literally never found a multiplayer match anywhere from level 1 - Paragon 500, on any difficulty, in any game mode.

I have full Inarius, and some other 'core' build items which enabled me to clear the Grift 70 to unlock Primals. I only have two ancients, though - my Shadowhook and my Unity.

My only understanding of how to progress at this point is that I basically need to upgrade all my items to ancients, and ultimately primals. I also have the ability to add a 7th modifier of Int to each ancient or primal piece in the cube. This requires super high level gems. And to try to get ancient / primal items on my own, in addition to farming, I can gamble them with Kadala and reroll in the cube for 50 souls and 25 bounty mats. So, the only thing I understand is that all of these are priorities:

1 - Keep a large stock of bounty mats, which enables me to constantly reroll items to try to get them ancient or primal. This requires me to run bounties every once in a while when I'm low, preferably on T13 if I can clear that high.

2 - Keep a large stock of high level gems, which requires me to constantly clear high level grifts which I struggle with because I don't yet have the required gear

3 - Run normal rifts to stockpile gear and DB's and normal gems and FS's to help with both of the above

So is that it? I basically just run all 3 of these in whatever fashion I feel is best, based on what I'm low on at the time?

But what is the best way to just try to get new items? Is it chain running normal rifts because I get a ton of gold and DB's and even though I might only get 1-2 less legs per run than a Grift, it's worth it from a time standpoint? What is the benefit of a grift beyond leveling up gems? Yes, I've gotten some good experience, but at Paragon 500 I already largely have all the bonus stats that will help. Gaining some additional gold find at level 631 is meaningless. And I've never gotten the impression Grifts are good for loot. I've averaged something like 8-10 legs per T13 normal rift, and I get maybe 3-5 per Grift, when I do them in the 60s.

What about seasons? I played Season 10 and had a DH and my season stash has about 250 legs. Do I just salvage them before they expire? Is there any incentive to play Season 11? Doesn't really make sense to me ... can't I just use a Gem of Ease with 500 Paragon Levels and get a guy to 70 in an hour? And then he/she has access to all my gear / crafting mats / Paragon levels / etc.?

    Thanks for any insights

So which of these is best?

    1) Sell my MH, then buy a replacement around the same DPS that has about 500-600 loh instead of the life leech to bring me up to 1500 loh
    2) Drop all pieces with MF and put on more resistances to get to about 600 AR unbuffed
    3) Try to find a few pieces with + armor so I can get to 7k unbuffed
    4) Try to get 2 pc IK bonus for 60 AR and more movement

EDIT: Here's where I'm at now

    Ok, here's my stats unbuffed:

    http://i1072.photobu...reenshot131.jpg

Also have 12 movement and 101 mf

Here's the gear I'm currently using: (the ring in the bottom left is actually bracers, sorry)

    http://i1072.photobu...newbarbgear.png

Here's gear I have but am not using:

    http://i1072.photobu...s/othergear.png

Anything I should swap out and use?

The reason I initially went MF was because I couldn't afford any of the better pieces, but is there a really crappy item I'm using I can upgrade cheaply?

And I have used Slaugther, it's good at times but I mainly like ToC because while moving from one elite to the next it's much faster and I can also kill elites safely with it, it just takes a little longer

So I've been using this build for awhile and I've done relatively well with it in A3, but I can still get completely owned and my stats are low, so I'm looking for some advice. Basically I'm just using the sprint + WW + ToC build to stay in ToC forever and own face

    Unbuffed I have 30k hp, 34 crit, 330 crit damage, 1743 str, 1113 vit, 314-400 all resistances (terrible), 43k hp, 6.1k armor, 943 loh, 2.8% leech, 113 mf

I can swap pieces around and get up to 43 crit, but I'd lose more vit and resistances

    Some concerns:

    1) My OH is a 350 dps dagger I used as a stat stick because it has 80 str, 650 loh, 63 crit, and a socket. But now that I use WW I need a much higher dps weapon, should I upgrade this first? Or
    2) Do I need to upgrade my MH? It's 900 dps with 2.8% leech and a socket. Or
    3) Should I try to upgrade my resistances? Almost all pieces I can find that are upgrades are like 20m + and I have 8m
    4) Should I just go do A2 and stack more MF?
    5) How do you deal with spread out mobs like moloks or archers or heralds?
    6)

Already had the Kymbo's, spent 1.5m on the offhand, 1.5m on the belt, had the weapon, had most of the rest, I don't think I bought anything else

So I've fooled around with the spec a bit, a huge thanks to Pulverise for helping me in game!

Here are my new stats unbuffed in town:

    http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w369/SyZstats/Screenshot116.jpg

    Here are my skills:

    http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w369/SyZstats/Screenshot117.jpg

    Here are my weapons:

    http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w369/SyZstats/weapons.png

    Here is my armor:

    http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w369/SyZstats/wwgear.png

    So some observations:

    * Swapping my main hand to an axe/mace brings me to 45% crit
    * Most of my gear sucks
    * I can kill elites relatively easily unless they're arcane or BOTH molten / plagued or I don't use Wrath on disabler packs
*The spec actually makes me want to play the game

    So I need some advice:

    1) Obviously I need to upgrade the main hand asap. What stats should I look for? Keep in mind I have 1.5m ...
    2) When should I upgrade my off hand?
    3) Is the only other place I can get LoH from a Skull Grasp + MH?
    4) Which armor pieces should I upgrade first, and how much will it cost me?
    5) What's the most efficient way to farm given my current skill setup? (Preferably A3)
    6) Why do high end barbs use Thrive on Chaos versus Slaugther if they're only using it for elite packs and they can easily blow them up with Slaughter without needing ToC?
    7) How do you loot items when you basically Sprint + WW through trash and you're off the screen when they die

Eh, I just died to pretty much everything in A2. Walk into an elite pack with both buffs up, pop Wrath, try to sprint and WW around and I run out of fury and have to auto attack and just die because I have so little life, defense, and no revenge

New stats using the build - good enough?

Edit: Notice I'm using an MF gem in the meta, I could swap to my 16% life and probably gain like 5-6k more hp

I have a Kymbo's with 5 crit, 300 ish loh, and some other pieces with loh, but nothing with a ton of crit or crit damage, but I'll see what I can find

Edit: Where is the ww sprint build?

That was my build to blow up Azmodan

I use impunity, 30% damage buff wahtever it is, provocation, eq with the first rune, maniac / sidearm, insanity, nerves of steel, tough as nails, and zerk rage

Edit: I just realized your entire post was nothing but an attack on me. Are you actually stupid enough to think I managed to beat the game and have no clue how to make a build? Classic

NOTE: TITLE SAYS FARM, NOT COMPLETE

I've beaten the game, and can still clear A3 and A4, I just die a lot

I have no idea how I'm going to get better gear. I've farmed A2 for over a month and only made about 50m total, which I've used to get the items I have. I thought I could FINALLY start to farm A3, but I still can't do it well. Here are my stats with just Impunity:

    http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w369/SyZstats/Screenshot100.jpg

Here's my gear, sorry but it's probably the worst picture ever:

    http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w369/SyZstats/barb.png

I just don't see how I can upgrade anything. For example, my gloves need all res, but they already have really good stats. To upgrade those would be like 30m minimum. Or my legs / chest. Both are pretty meh, but a solid upgrade would be 20m +

Am I doomed to just farm A2 using quake / insanity to kill elites in 4s and kill trash mobs with WW?
