    I'm sure any class can do it because you can use focus and restraint, I myself did it as a Witch Doctor.


    Notable pieces of gear: Scrimshaw, ancient 2.7k dmg, Jeram bracers, focus/restraint, thing of the deep off hand,

    fetish belt, rest was all yellow crafted gear. In the cube I had Furnace/Grin Reaper/unity. Gems were lvl 25 Estoric/

    Gizzard and lvl 50 Bane of the Trapped.


    I completed GR 40 at 14:45, had a terrible rift with barely any mobs and didn't die a single time.

    I don't know, I hadn't played much before the buff last weekend and I've already found 4 Akkhan pieces myself (on drop, not Kadala, not a single set from her so far..) and my brother got the legs on drop so I got them because he already had it.

    I've replaced all my gear since then, everything except my gloves is new. Several 1h flails, 2x blade of propechy, Jekangbord from Kadala.

    Straight into Act V on my WD to unlock the mystic, I'll be playing on normal and there's no way I'll die there with pets killing and 5k life regen/1100 all res even if I lag out completely. ;)

    I agree about the Torment achievements, as it stands you only have to clear everything on T1 and you're done achievement-wise, there's absolutely no incentive to even step into T6 on hardcore... even if they introduce T6 only achievements for hardcore there's another problem that arises, right now you can clear the game on Normal then jump straight into Torment at any quest step and act, which means you could clear up to Malthael, set the last quest at T6 and just kill the end boss.

    The only solution I can think of is having separate progression in each difficulty, meaning if you clear it on T1 you have to start all over in T2 (having it for all difficulties starting from Normal is a tad too extreme in my opinion).

    Do make a thread about this on the official forum, it deffo needs the attention. :)

    With ros so close to release I don't really bother with gems to be honest, with higher tiers dropping from 61+ mobs and all..

    Right now I'm in the process of completing the story mode since I reset it, just hit the oasis in A2 but once I get to stonefort in A3 I'll be farming the keys again.

    Oh, also I added you Devizz, I might be playing a little bit later today if I get time.

    Hello fellow gamers!

    As the title says, I'm looking for help in crafting a hellfire ring, I really want one for my crusader I will create when RoS launches.

    So far I'm farming T2 with a sad rate of keys, I farmed a set of 9 of each and only got one material (had worse gear and only did T1 machines). So far I have 9 A1, 2 A2 and only 1 A3 key... it's supposed to be a 30% drop on T2 but so far it's more like 10-15% for me.

    Is there anyone with a lot of keys to spare and willing to help a fellow hardcore player, or wanting to farm some keys with me speak up. :)

    Am I seeing things wrong or is Maximus just insanely op now? That fire chain seems to melt anything it touches, once it proccs you position yourself so it hits the elites and they just rot...

    I'd like to see the build without Maximus if this is the case because that can't be intended. :/

    This would be really cool, then you can almost tell if someone died from a DC or trying to progress in a higher difficulty level. :P

    Number one fast and easy addition I'd really like to see is advancing the "Advanced" Tooltips, that shows increases from CDR/+Damage attributes :(

    Atleast there's one specc (not sure) that will mainly focus on a good shield not main hand weapon: Punish/Shield Bash

    Atleast from what I've seen (don't wanna spoil too much) Punish and Shield Bash scale with your shield not weapon, so unless you really want the 2handers legendary effect/stats there's no reason to use it for that particular specc is there?

    Ofcourse I could be horribly wrong and 2h will still dominate, but they really should make a second passive that benefits 1h's, perhaps giving 10% movement speed instead and increasing the holy damage gained from shields by a lot (I think that's how it worked with crusader shields??)

    1. Been using pets ever since they got buffed and I'm pleased with their survival in mp4-5, the only question regarding them is how well do they survive in the higher mp's? Mp7-10?

    I know they scale based on the player, but what exactly do they get? Vit/armor/dmg, but do they also get the all res, life regen too, without the fierce loyalty passive?

    2. My gear, I'm using this http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#g.U.YT!!Z.c.cZ and I'm wondering which other skills would suit it best.. for passives I use zombie handler, rush of essence and jungle fortitude, but which pet passives are actually the best? Do I need all the pet passives? And is there another resource gen passive that beats rush of essence, due to using other skills not only barrage?

    3. And finally, my gear.. I've been scouting the AH for a Zunni head with equal stats and mana reg because rush currently doesn't sustain 100% uptime on barrage, it's very close though.

    Been looking around for belts and I'm not sure the witching hour is worth it, or is it? And the rest of the pieces that aren't zunni as I must keep the 4piece, what would you recommend?

    Why would I really need any damage though? No more enrages on packs, whites die in 2 cycles of crippling wave.. unless Siege is a no-go because of overpowering reflect eventually, haven't tried him on softcore as a monk yet. Azmodan doesn't have an enrage either, nor does any boss in A4 afaik?

    Recently killed Belial and moved onto A3, did the first quest, 1 champ and 1 elite pack. The blue pack which had electrified as the only damage affix barely scratched me, dipping only to about 80% at most.
    The yellow one however, which consisted of 5 hellflyers with molten/waller/arcane/extra hp, I had some trouble with, mostly because of waller/arcane and the fact that they deal 6-7k damage per fireball.

    So my question is such, how are my stats looking at the moment for the rest of A3? I've done Ghom on softcore with half hp and 100 less all res, same dps and 3k less dps on my enchantress so that should be no problem.

    I'm halfway through Act 2 with this build (not in this MF gear haha), after the patch I think I'm NP to clear the act. I think with some paragon levels A3/A4 shouldn't be a big deal -- just stressful .. but we're all used to that right? :)

    I run basically the same build as you, except I use hex instead of horrify, I find it great since it will always hex the closest target upon used. So that leaves one slot open, most likely be wall of zombies (walling them all in a corner and spirit walking out makes you able to town portal) plus it being buffed to 800% weapon damage, throw in grasp which will be at 320% and it's all good!

    I've had my eye on spirit barrage rune - manitou for a while now, with my measly 23k dps it deals around 4-5k damage per hit, the only drawback being the short range (buffed to 30yd AND a boatload of damage in 1.0.4).

    With the increased mana regen maybe it's actually possible to run with a hard hitter like dire bats or spirit barrage (buffed to 230%), even wall of zombies look great now that they deal 800% weapon damage, run into a wall, spirit walk through the pack and wall them inside the corner.

    So many possiblities, what are your thoughts?
