1. My first vote would be to just add a MF swap button and keep on the way we are.
2. If we have to change it, create a new MF "skill" that you can "level" up from say "Pages/Tomes/Books of Magic Find" that randomly drops from mobs. You can have pages drop in normal/NM and give 0.5-1%, and each level of difficulty has a higher MF bump you can recieve from the books/tomes. You can cap it at say 225%, and with 5 NV stacks you have 300%.
So basically, the more you play, the more your MF goes up, the more loot you get. Pretty simple concept.
1.0.3b hasn't been patched in yet. You're seeing random numbers at work. Quit filling the forums with this stuff, if you're not even informed enough to know what patch we're on.
Have to agree with blujay on this one. They could put a message on the launcher, or on the log in screen. Even Wow does that, and given that D3's maintennance coincides with Wow's maintennance, it's not unreasonable to expect something similar.
Baddboi, your comment has more vitriol than almost any I have seen here. You could have just provided the link and helped educate people, but whine and belittle at the same time, while complaining about 'the community'. That is the ultimate irony right there..
Orrrrrrrr....you could look at the post on the forums that stated the scheduled maintenance 3 days ago.
Just because they didn't put it right in front of YOU, doesn't mean that it wasn't announced. If you can't be bothered to look this stuff up ahead of time, doesn't mean that it's blizzard's fault.
I'm so tired of the entitled whiners that shit up this community.
ARGH! D2 left off on hell mode. It was doable however you wanted to do it. They've added a new difficulty to the game. Its REALLY hard. Its actually well balanced on the technical side and I really enjoy it on the emotional side. While the jump from A1 to A2 was the biggest detractor they've since fixed it and the game has become even better. This isn't like Diablo 2's end game! They clearly stated it was going to be extremely hard, that people may feel pigeon holed, BASICALLY all the complaints of the gameplay variety I've heard for the past month were addressed previously by Blizzard.
It just drives me crazy that people demand WoW go back to being "hard" and that video games are too easy these days and so they release this gem and all anyone can do is complain its too hard this way and that. Inferno is tough as shit. You'll have a hard time. You'll die a lot. You'll even be pigeon holed a bit in your build comps. Lets move on.
For me, the lack of replay ability just isn't there, I refuse to replay ONLY for gear, when in the end, you won't need once you beat Inferno. What's after Inferno? I'ts only been around 45 days since release and we have a lot of people already completing the hardest difficulty in the game....so then what? I don't see how anyone can say it is fun to replay the same old crap over and over, with the same map and since you cap out at 60, you're kind of stuck.
Looks to me like you bought D3 not knowing what kind of game it is. That's all every Diablo game has ever been. It's an endless quest to find more loot. The bosses and story are secondary. Always has been, always will.
Bidding will end at 5PM EST today. All items have a 10K minimum starting bid. Please post bids in the Battle.net thread and leave your battle tag along side your bid.

Here is one point that never gets brought up in the conspiracy threads: Blizzard has a legal department. Do you actually believe that during all of the development and testing of all of this, that their legal department didn't give a thumbs up to all of this? Everything is covered in the ToS, its a legal document that you've agreed to, before you ever even set foot in the game. If you want to take Blizzard to small claims court for your $100 digital sword, go right ahead. Do us a favor and post how much in court costs you'll be paying out after Blizz's legal team gets you laughed out of court.
