    Easy to see that Barbarians like their DPS :)

    ncoffey4 has a good point though - Picking a weapon limits your versatility later.

    I'm surprised we didn't see more "perfect" amulets or rings - are they not a big enough part of your gear to really float to the top?

    Our top mods based on this don't look too surprising - LoH, Attack Speed, Strength

    I don't think you can roll the same affix more than once, so 6x LoH affixes is probably out :P

    Based on a blue post though, I think you can roll a hybrid (Ruthless = +str and +sta) and a pure (Of Assault = +str) on the same item.

    Sockets also seem to be popular, as they give you that last push on a "perfect" item.

    Ok, here is the premise:

    You've just won a contest from Blizzard - You get to choose any 1 item that will have 6 affixes of max value of your choice, and it will be created and placed in your Barbarians Stash.

    What item do you choose, what affixes do you choose and what is your reasoning in your choices?

    A couple of sites (beyond this one) to help out:

    In essence, you will be creating 1 presumably Best in Slot item for your Barbarian. What does Best in Slot mean for you?

    Quote from VonLego

    Interesting, but why do you need a dex item?

    Not to answer for the OP, but Dex = Dodge, which is also an effective defensive stat. Since it seems he is going with a fairly defensive gearing strat, some Dex makes sense.

    Dex does have a diminishing returns associated with the amount of dodge it gives, which means you probably don't want to stack it too much, but 100 is generally considered a reasonable number to shoot for, for a barbarian.

    DEX to dodge:
    0 - 100 gives 0.1%
    100 - 500 gives 0.025%
    500 - 1000 gives 0.02%
    1000 - 8000 gives 0.01%

    Summed up:
    100 dex-->10%
    500 dex-->20%
    1000dex-->30%
    2000dex--->40%
    3000dex--->50%
