But back on topic, unless it's an organized group doing this kind of thing, we shouldn't need to be informed of this, this can only lead to people thinking they might get the "recognition they deserve" if we acknowledge them.
Not sure what you mean by that exactly. Like, are you saying they shouldn't even report on this? Or by informed do you mean we just shouldn't look more into what is seemingly there. Cause yeah I'd agree in the sense that we shouldn't politicize this incident or try to make in into anything that it's not.

What I'm saying is that some unstable people might see this, think "Oh, I might be heard if I do something crazy like this" and go ahead with some evil doing that they might not go through with if it didn't get such media attention. Like they should mention it, but not give the attention they might be looking for.

Thats another thing that chaps my ass. The use of the word terrorist. Foreign terrorists, domestic terrorists, oh god they're everywhere.
Not to nitpick, but terrorism is anything that creates fear, technically you could consider all the news reporting on that attack terrorist. But back on topic, unless it's an organized group doing this kind of thing, we shouldn't need to be informed of this, this can only lead to people thinking they might get the "recognition they deserve" if we acknowledge them.

I went to see the movie tonight, when I told that to people I know they all told me that I should maybe wait a couple of days because it might be organized terrorism attacks. I don't understand why people think that, any terrorist groups would have attacked at the same time, albeit different locations before national security measures could be taken. (I live in Canada too, so it isn't the states, though people seem to think that whatever happens in the states might happen in Canada) I do admit I made a few jokes to my friends sending text messages after the movie was done claiming there was a shooting, got a few people who thought I was being serious.

I've always thought people shouldn't be able to carry weapons, but what do I know, I'm against harming people in any way. I do hope the states finally do something about gun control, but I know that won't prevent such things from happening again, but it's a start...

posted a message on Life on Hit Nerf Incoming???
The way I read it is that it's only Life Leech and not Life on Hit (Life leech being that you steal life on hit and when you kill) but I could be wrong and I do agree that it's worded wrongly. Life Leech(Life Steal as they word it) requires to be scaled down with every acts because of how a % would scale with damage as you get more gear. (3% of 10k is 300 per hit, with the scaling, it's 300*0.2=60 loh)

I think they just worded it to lead people to think that LoH is also affected, but I don't believe they will do so since it doesn't scale with gear.

posted a message on Force Armor + Diamond Skin
I had a question about these two spells interact with each other, because sometimes I can fully absorb a hit with Diamond Skin, though it would normally one shot me if I don't use it. (I have 25k HP, DS absorbs 21.7k) I'm thinking that the remaining absorbtion part of DS might count towards "max HP". Does anyone have more info on this, because it's been bugging me quite a lot.

They usually just put that as a foolproof method of justifying bans, though they don't normally ban stuff that don't give you an advantage.

posted a message on My 9 Year Old Daughter Plays Diablo 3
I don't understand why people are getting upset over this... I played Diablo 1 when I was 6, "back in the day" Diablo 1 was crazier than Diablo 3 is right now (It's not as dark) and a rating is only something overprotective parents care about IMO. A parent can teach his child that his in-game behavior should in-game behaviors and to not bring them to the real world.
