Oh wow you really need some resistances. Try to craft a shoulder with all res, get some on...well anywhere you can. boots, chest, maybe belt? You could get zuni 3set for extra EHP. Work on armor too. Not sure what MP you plan to play, but EHP is a bigger concern now.

Lol, I love how few items dropped considering the number of monsters killed and MP10. Blizz nerfed that shit hard.

    no ....they didn't

    they did actually http://www.diablofans.com/blizz-tracker/topic/260375-drop-rate-might-need-some-clarification/#post7

Use low dps weapons. That way you wont kill them even if you have to return to pull them again. Try to not change direction suddenly, so they keep running in your tornado trail. Once you have enough, switch to normal weapons.

I'm sticking to my DW Thunderstrike build with Marathon, ToC , Into the Fray as basis and adjusting the rest based on setup/gear of others.
Can you explain the Spint/Marathon to me? Is it just to gather mobs faster to keep ToC going, or is there some other secret use?

Edit: and how do stay alive? Just from the life steal?
Edit2: This is my char: http://eu.battle.net...635/hero/241816 - any advice is extremely appreciated.

There's nothing to the Marathon rune, i jsut use it because i like it for the increased duration, which saves me fury and slightly increased run speed (10% more than base sprint). I keep that rune for myself selfishly. I have 1 or 2 slots however, free to choose an ability to help the group if its needed. Something from the list Strafir wrote down. It depends on MP and the group, if i take any group ability. If the grp is strong enough, i go pure dps with Killing Spree or so.

I keep myself alive with lifesteal and heavy resist/armor to mitigate the dmg and hopefully with timed health globes, if the grp plays well. You probably see me with only 1 LS item in profile now, but i always advise 2 LS items, which should give you the perfect amount (5-6%).

edit: i'd rather avoid gear checks in this thraed, because i like it and would hate it to go off-topic too much ^^
Can do new thread or PMs.

Based on what you have right now, no. I'd jsut get some 300 str with high resist.
Longterm, i would craft a ~280str +high HP vit version, dropping vit elsewhere for DPS.

Either way, you can upgrade your str on them nicely. It depends on what's your plan for future upgrades in general.

Crafting a Vit shoulder is not a bad idea at all, since it can still roll 300 str but vit can go upto 330 (instead of 330/200 from STR version). It allows you to ignore Vit on items which have more than 1 dps stat. Obviously it takes longer on average to craft a good pair of vit shoulders, but in my opinion worth it in the long run.

Having said that, Strafir is right about your HP, its quite a bit higher than you need.

posted a message on My Mission; Pick-Up Toggle For D3
I'd be happy with a simple option to hide item labels of item quality worse than rare.
The option to hide all labels is already there, i'd like an item quality filter.
You could still pick up the item without the label by clicking on the item on the ground, which is much smaller than the label itself and the major reason to pickup items by accident.

Just a tip, when i have a big amount of items on the ground around the mob i want to target with left click, i shift+click not to pick up anything. Requires to be in position obviously.

hmm i guess i over looked this also i guess i can make whimsey second then fom third then walk to cemetary and wheeping hollows. but also you should know the elite in the cemetary isnt garunteed its a random spawn

Yep i know that, edited it out before you even said, but that doesn't really matter. I haven't looked at whisey yet, but there are plenty of places to get a fast stack :)

just make either whimsey or wheeping hollow your second location in this run.

Why wheeping hollow 2nd? You want 5 stacks there since it has i don't know... 500 mobs? It should go after fields of misery, since they are connected - just run to the south when you're done in fields, through the cementary.

You NEED crit chance. Its the first thing to focus on. It's what makes all builds that use Into the Fray work. Also, get a Immortal Kings belt for the Lifesteel and a second IK piece for the 2 set if you can.

The only restriction that would work at least to an extend, would be that players would only be allowed to join public games on same or lower MP as they finished solo. The difficulty 'unlocking' could be act based (need to complete whole act start to finish solo) or otherwise. No other restriction method i can think of does any good.

edit: which is what the OP suggested i read now

Not only is this very inconvenient, but you don't need to be able to clear it solo to do well in co-op. Playing at +1 or even +2 of your solo MP is not a bad idea considering how much easier multiplayer is.

Meh... maybe, but you would only have to do it once, on highest mp you can take, then maybe do it again once you upgrade. + what Starburst above me said :)

Yeah definitely looks new to me. The branching occured before 1.0.8 yes, but the exit would have been in the lower part. Around where it says 'Heart of Sin' in the objectives under minimap, or further that direction.

It's a lot more similar to crater 1 now.

Doing the same route, but sometimes i add 1 or 2 areas. Fun and efficient. I'd recommend it too.
