I still used Bash over Overpower anyways. So it doesn't really affect me.

It probably never shoulda triggered procs anyways, was likely an oversight until the nado barb turned up.

Not to sound rude, but your comment makes 0 sense mate. Bash and Overpower dont belong to the same category of abilities. You could compare bash with Frenzy or Cleave (fury generator main attacks), but not OP ;)

Theses errors happened countless times in the past mate. It's no surprise they happen on a busy AH day like this. You'll have to wait it out.

i dont know are you talking about. having MF dps gear is exponentially better than swapping,
i am swapping myself for the last 2 or 2.5 months, but im working on getting MF on my main gear for a while now and paragon will not stop me in doing so... untill i reach the levels where i can drop the MF parts 1 by 1, which is going to take months. not 1 month or less, monthS.

no1 is encouraging swapping, just saying its ok to do it if u want to. the fact is that farming in MF gear is always going to be faster and less risky +macros are forbidden

split them with ex, the half you are keeping just hide some place private where no one would find them. once you'll need them/want them/new GF is ready for them, you'll know where they are. i dont see the problem here.

posted a message on New set Items vs old Set items.
Since some of the new set bonuses (if not all) are different from the old ones, the answer to your question is no :) .
The second indication to this, is that the new set items and also the new set bonuses have different names then their previous versions.

posted a message on Act 3 run
i start on the quest 'kill siegebreker' to have all the needed portals. after SB its all linear so i just do everything after him, but 1st i go get stacks in keep depths. lvl 1 most of the times has 4 elites.
i normally do full clears (meaning every single elite in the act) cause honestly thats more worth it then reseting my NV stacks...

but anyway, if u start on that quest its very easy to hop around the act as you please. its def worth it to do keep depths, barracks (goblins and big chests in those 100%), and everything past SB.

300 is still way too low, unless theres gonna be some insane glitch. seriosly guys go check the post about how many monsters you need to kill and then log in diablo and check your hours played on all chars, combine them and check your lifetime kills. then realize how many of these lifetime kills were done during leveling or any act lower than a3/4 inferno. dont pull random numbers from your asses :D (no offense)

Anyone know what the cap on the +Exp stat is? I feel anyone who's crazy enough to embark on this neverending quest will want to know. :)

    332 from gear +31%gem + 28(??) from follower i think

but remember, theres no +xp on lvl60 gear. i think last items to have it are ilvl 55

On the other hand, +Exp gear is suddenly going to become veeeeeery popular...

dont forget +xp doesnt apear or gear ilvl higher than 55. the one thing that IS going to be popular is a ruby in helm and 54 +xp follower equipement

In my 610+ hours played so far i've slain 325k+ monsters. This includes low level monsters killed during leveling.
Calculations show that with constant 5xNV buff up it would take 1.3m+ level 63 monster kills to reach paragon lvl 100.
This does not includes elites and possible quest XP, but 100% NV uptime isn't realistic either so lets say it balances out.
Anyway, this calculation is absolutely horrible, but lets say for me personally it will take way over 2500 hours of farming a3/4 excusilvely to reach lvl 100.

If you believe MF is becomming a useless stat, think again :)

posted a message on Requesting advise regarding 2h Barb stats
all res is not everything as most players tend to believe nowadays. to boost defenses you need to boost your EHP by balancing all defensive stats.

those stats are all res, armor, vit, life% (and to some degree dodge, but you dont want to go for more than 100dex anyway)
this is what you need to know in very simple form: 100 armor = 10 all res. they both have diminishing returns, therefor you should balance them out, rather than focus on 1. like if you would have 600 all res, you should aim for 6k armor . ofc its nearly impossible to balance perfectly (especially once u get really high) but at your gear level its the thing you want to do. back this up with Vit and life%.

its much cheaper to get pieces with +armor than resists so i'd adivise to get some of those.
another stat to get would be physical resistance. majority of attacks are physical so items like str/vit/phys.res/armor would be great in those slots where you have only str/vit atm (shoulder/chest), next important resist is fire.

once you have enough gold, do go for all resists though, dont get me wrong.

you have to back this up with HP, yours is rather low. %life is fine but it doesnt scale good with your vit. once you get more vit, the life% you already have will start showing its potential.

you could just use an EHP calculator to figure your defenses out really.

also, the reason your armor is so extremely low is because you have some low item levels. base armor increases naturally with ilvl.
next thing for survival you might try is Leap with iron impact. once you up your armor, you'll be able to tank almost anything with leap for 4 secs every 10 secs. thats 40% uptime, amazing.

As for offense - try not to get a weapon with attack speed. many barb abilities rely on weapon dmg so AS is not helping there (unless we are talking about 1400+ weapons)
other than that, get as much of offensive stats as possible, theres no number to aim for, just stack as high as possible with your funds. id personally start with STR though since it also gives armor but thats just me.

about lifesteal - it gets better with higher dps but most importantly - its pretty good with seismic slam. works great if you can hit a big bunch of mobs

for a3 you need to do quite a lot of work on your gear mate and might wanna change abilities too

posted a message on Legendaries so awesome, but still sad face :(
    Quote from Manimal

I've only found 2 legendaries, both being un-usable and both I found with NO MF gear on.. for the last couple of months I've been running around with 360 odd MF at 5 stacks and still not been lucky in finding a set or legendary item..

As cool as the upgrades look, I dont know if I'm willing to put in another 200 hours to attempt a better experience of the game with 1.0.4.. items in AH are way too exp, I've never been over 4 mill gold, so buying these items is out, I'd rather pay my mortage than buy an item in AH with real money and who knows if the drop rates will make seeing even 1 of these items possible..

its still random. having higher MF only gives you higher chances, no guarantees. ive had 2 legendaries in one day, but i've also had 2 weeks of none.

you dont need to put that much time into it. just play till its fun then logoff. if u want more gold you should be able to make it on AH. i mean ....bellow 4 mil after 200 hours is so low you are either vendoring most good things or spending everything on gearing all your chars :D
and ehh ...i actually pay my mortgage with rmah profits (not exagerating) thats hwo easy it is to make money in it :D

look from what you're saying it looks like you just need some AH advice. im happy to give some in PM or just browse some forums about it, get the gold u need and buy anything u want (including new legendaries if you keep being unlucky with drops)

posted a message on Sword 'n Board Barb upgrade advice sought
the stat to increase right now are all resists. try to get pieces that have a single resist + all resists (like +physical res. +resist to all). mainly focus on physical resists, after that fire and maybe just 1 piece with arcane. other reists are not needed. i think you could start with shoulder.
btw your HP is awesome, dont be afraid to lose some for resists. ofc that doesnt mean you should ignore hp now, keep it high enough, but more is not needed ;)
2nd of all you can try to get a bit more LoH if possible and str on chest, but your gear is getting there, most stats are cool.

your build is great for tanking. 1 thing that you might consider for playing in a party is ground stomp, but thats up to you. (actually i jsut noticed you are usign thrive on chaos rune. drop that mate, its useless, you have no fury spenders. go with insanity or maybe striding giant if u like)

once you have enough defense you can drop supperstion for zerker rage or ruthless if u start building crit

edit: the other option rather than increasing all resists is to run with leap(iron impact), op(crushing advance) and ignore pain and cycle through them as you fight like so: leap -> IP- > leap -> OP -> leap....
as long as you keep up the rotation of CDs, high resists are not needed, a little more LoH for the OP is great though and keep the high hp for this, maybe a bit more armor for stronger leaps. matter of taste and style
