    I have been looking for a decent IK belt for the past week to complete my set. My question is - how important is the skill boost value in the belt - like how much str/vit does +7% cleave damage equate to? Should i save up for a perfect roll on the skill boost? And also which skill boost to go for? I play ww barb the most and for ww barbs doesnt seem to matter much since most of the damage is coming from tornadoes - but what is the best skill to invest in for other builds like 1hand/board, 2hand, pvp etc. I was thinking maybe cleave might be the best overall skill to invest in?

    After the patch i am wondering which is the best primary skill to use - is frenzy still the best?
    Does Loh/life steal/fury gain simply gets multiplied by x for x enemies hit with cleave? If so then cleave seems to be the best skill to use even for ww barbs - it seems to have the most damage and fury gain even if you hit 2 enemies - what do you guys think?
    Consequently what is the best skill mod to go for on the belt - since both lamentation and the IK belt seem to guarantee a barb skill mod?

    Well clearing act 3 was never my goal - since i can easily do the tornado build to run past everything. I want to be able to farm act 3 so i didnt want to drop below 20k dps or it would take forever to kill stuff. I can probably try all out defense gear/ abilities for first build but it wouldnt be worth it to farm with that. I was just posting here to figure out why there is such a huge difference in act 2 and act 3 where i can roflpwn everything in act 2 with that gear but get owned by white trash in act 3.
    Also to clarify - that 30M was trying out different builds which included a 2hander,dual weild also. Once i get a feel for which direction is most efficient i can sell the gear from other builds and focus my gold on one build.

    So i have been farming act 2 pretty easily without dying and at good speed. I thought i will try upgrading my gear since i really want to do act 3 - spent 30M but i get absolutely destroyed in act 3 sometimes even from white trash - morloks/cleavers/tremers/exploding fuckers(grrrrr). Elites are out of question. I was very dissapointed with the results and am just thinking of leveling ranged class. Wondering what i am doing wrong here-

    Tried 2 builds -

    Dagger with 1.2k life on hit,1.6 attacks per second, 50k hp, 800 resits, 9k armor, 21k dps, 16% block sacred

    mace 300 loh,1.2 attacks per sec,48k hp, 36k dps, 450 resists, 8k armor, 36k dps, 16% block sacred

    Does block has a chance to proc on every damage tick from molten/plague/fire chain/arcane etc - basically the only stuff that kills you as a barb?
    I am thinking about shedding my sheild for a 2hander - since that gives me a big dps boost but i am worried about survivability.

    To someone sensible buying it - its probably worth 2M. If it had crit chance and + disc and elementar arrow mod that thing would be worth A LOT.But you can get still get a decent amount if you get lucky just because it has the legendary tag on it - specially on the RMAH since most people buying there dont have the time/patience to research the proper price and will pay anything cause of the legendary tag on it.

    Question - does ball lightning give on hit effects twice since it hits twice for half damage? If so i might actually invest in a life on hit amulet for those pesky reflect damage elites and the seigebraker.

    Will i get both bonuses from my dual weild weapons from the weapon mastery passive?
    Example - 2 spears = 20% IAS?
    spear + might weapon = 10% IAS + fury gen per hit?

    Also Does the whirlwind bloodfunnel 1% max hp heals only apply to crits during WW phase or to all crits - from frenzy etc?

    + elemental damage, IAS, + min/max damage, + % damage are included in the weapon dps
    dex,str,int,crit damage are NOT included in the dps - these will reflect on your overall dps value

    I posted a similar thread in the barbarian forum. I think 'channeled abilities' like rapid fire/whirlwind use the DPS but 'click abilities' use the damage and attack speed for their cast times. But idk how earthquake works since its neither channeled nor has a cast time ?

    I was under the impression that when an ability states that it does x% weapon damage, this means that it scales of the damage on the weapon and not its DPS - the attack speed on the weapon affects the casting time of the ability.
    Now how does this work on channeled abilites like rapid fire/whirlwind and abilities like earthquake which dont have a cast time ? Are these scalling of weapon DPS ? If they just scale of damage wouldnt earthquake be a LOT better with slower weapons like 2handers.

    Thak you for this - this has helped me a lot in my gearing decisions. I have a couple of questions -
    1) Higher EHP means i can take more damage correct? So if the tool says i have hgher EHP by changing some of my vit gear into resist all - i should do that even though i have lower overall hp?
    2) Dodge EHP assumes incomming damage is lesser than your hp right? Since in the case of DH the incoming damage is usually > your hp which would increase dodge EHP by a lot since you are negating a LOT more damage.
