posted a message on 3007 error, anyone else playing?
I am stuck with error 3007.
So I figure it is blizzard as I seen tons of posts about this from others.

So I saw someone say they could get on WoW.
I get on and d/c all the time and now I cant log in there.

I think blizzard is having either server problems or they pissed off someone and now they are being hacked.

I just came back from vacation, I wanted to destroy some demons or at lease do some WoW.
    Sad day today is.

Hey guys/gals, I'm unable to start the patch DL yet and I'm not home, so is the patch viable for DL and are the servers up for the US Realms?

posted a message on Is this a Viable Tank?
    Build:
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#bRXVkg!Veb!ccaccY

    Item Stat Focus:
    Thorns
    Vitality
    Resistance All

    Tank Design:
    {Note this is for group tank not solo, you want to have everything focus in on you, so having a Monk ally to use their vortex ability to assist you while your Range DPS attack from a far}
You're goal is not to be the damage dealing, but return damage. Since most tank barbs want to be roughly 10k to move onto act 2. Instead of you focusing on damage, you absorb damage like a tank and focus on your Thorns to return damage.

    The goal of this build is to have Health at max if you cant, at lease 70k or higher {If that is possible}
Next you will be over 1k Resistance All.
You want your Thorns from items to be at lease 15k or higher + 50% bonus from Passive + 50% damage return to creatures when you use IP with Rune for Contempt for Weakness.

    Game Play:
If you don't have a monk to vortex guys in, you start every fight.
Leap in to gain that bonus 300% armor as that is what you rune for.
Next you focus on Cleave. I chose cleave for that super slow of 80%. The goal is to keep all creatures in front of you and keep them slowed so they cant get away from you (helps Wizards and DH a lot when you have elites that are Fast Afflix).
For that huge pack of monsters, use your Right Click that is set for IP with 50% damage returned to them.
If anything runs from you, such as right at your DPS behind your or to do right after leap, Use Threatening Shout with Rune for Demoralize to pull them all back to you. The goal is and always will be to hold them on you and all damage they deal to return back at them.

    ===============================================================================

This build kind of has a chance in the patch 1.0.3 with the damage nerf from act 2-4 inferno.
Also, if possible, try to reach 800-1000 Life on Hit. While Cleave will help keep you up while you don't have Revenge activated.

posted a message on How to get out of Inferno Act 2?
Guys and Gals, I want to ask the question: How do wizards solo out of act 2?

With my build that includes glass cannon, I'm pulling 30k dps and I have 19-20k health with 200-300 resistance.

I'm looking into getting boots with an increase movement speed with decent dps so I don't lose too much damage but I would love to find a DPS increase with movement speed.
Reason for this choice, I don't use teleport at all.

    Here is my current build:
    http://us.battle.net...XRSO!gcY!bbabZY

Should I drop the diamond skin?
I ask this because I run into 2 types of elites the most: Vortex and Reflect the most.
I like to use DS to reduce the damage I take from that Reflect and since I don't have any MI or Teleport, DS is my only way to counter an instant kill because Energy Armor isn't functioning correctly imo. I'm still dying in 1 hit to things after they hot fixed it.

posted a message on Archon vs Magic Weapon, Critical Mass vs Evocation
Magic Weapon only enchants the MH item.

The answer you're looking for is Magic Weapon > Archon.

While Archon has the best burst in the game, the duration is way too short and the CD is way to long.
Even reducing the CD to 100 seconds and having Mass Critical on, doesn't help you enough.

You're better off with Magic Weapon and rune for bonus damage to 15% with 2% KB on it.
While the KB isn't high enough to really do much of anything, when it does pop off, you will be happy it did in inferno as monsters like to 2 shot Wizards in act 2-4.

With the future damage and health reductions in the upcoming major content patch, Archon might have a place, but I think Arcane Orb rune for lower cost and Magic Weapon rune for 15% + 2% KB is best.

IMO, once the first major content patch for fixing inferno acts 2-4 happen, this might be a fun game style

posted a message on Furious Charge Barbarian Build
With the new Inferno changes coming, I thought it would be a fun idea to add in another build i'm looking at.
I first noticed this build when I entered NM and got to 33 and decided to add Furious Charge: Merciless Assault to my rotation while I tanked stuff. I basically got tired of not being able to charge in on things attacking my allies as I play co-op and not solo. I kill things almost instantly in solo so I want some challenge and fun.

    http://us.battle.net...SYki!Zcg!ZcZZca
This should be my build for my set up.

This is how I look at a rotation.
    1. Activate both War Cry & Battle Rage
    2. Leap into pack, they are all stun 3 secs
    3. Furious charge from left to right, up to down 2 times
    4. Use Ground Stomp to stun for another 4 seconds
    5. Use Furious Charge again, but up to 3 times and always making the third charge away from the pack.
    6. Either run away and use Weapon Throw to pick off the surviving monsters (OR) Back away and then use Leap again to start the rotation again.

The goal of this is to keep me active and with so many Furious Charges, I will max out my fury faster.

    Passives:
I chose Brawler because this is all about killing groups of creatures, not really for the focus of kill the Elites without help.
Ruthless is there for the bonus critical damage and chance (goal is to have almost 100% crit chance and have around 150-200% bonus crit damage)
Berserker Rage is there for the bonus 25% damage as I plan to stay at 100% fury more than using Throw Weapon.

I am not looking for a powerful build, but a fun build and I think this is a fun build that will work from Normal through Hell, but Inferno will require better gear IMO.
But as I have said, they are tweaking Acts 2-4 Inferno, so maybe it could be viable.

posted a message on Archon, Not Viable in Inferno?
Hey guys, I did love using Archon in Normal and Nightmare as it did amazing damage and had decent survivability for the duration.
But then as I got to act 3 hell, it basically dropped out and was quickly replaced with MI.

Now I'm in inferno and starting to learn act 1 and the expectations of inferno difficulties.
Basically, melee doesn't exist and as much as I want to play my Archon spec, I cant.

Now I built my Archon with Energy Armor Runed for Force and still got 1 shot by Act 3's bosses giant fire ball as I just got out of melee and it landed on me, so yeah Force armor wont save you or that was a bug.

Needless to say, Force Armor + Improved Archon is what got me thinking of using the Archon but I don't see it happening.

I did some calculations, if I had 40k health and got 1 shot, the creature hit me for 400k.
If this is the case, then how could blizzard ever justify melee classes or builds?

This is where I think Inferno has really screwed up the game big time.
It is all about hit run, hit run.
Every tried to out run fast movement elites with vortex that have either jailer or walls on? Answer, you cant and you will die in 3 seconds.

I think blizzard needs to fix their game if Archon will ever be viable as a build or any melee type builds in general.

    What do you all think?

(Note I do know people can melee stuff, but melee need to be carried through act 2; at lease that is what I'm seeing people complain about act 2 being a tough act with all the range units in it 3 shooting people)

posted a message on What do you think of my Tank Barb?
    Quote from Snookey

I play solo about 95 per cent of the time and also use the enchantress as my follower.

Here is a screenshot of my stats. It's in german, but I think you will understand the stats nevertheless.
    http://imageshack.us...hot001egoq.jpg/

I recently bought a 25% stormshield and a 18% string, the damage reduce is noticible. In return, my resists and life points dropped a bit. I'm currently working on improving my life on hit rating as that is what I lack most.
That images req. you to be a member to zoom in on, just to let you know.

posted a message on What do you think of my Tank Barb?
    On break woot,
Anyways, I wanted to look into some CC, even small amount as I forgot that is important as well.

I was looking into changing my frenzy rune to smite.
I forgot that if you change your runes in inferno, you lose the bonus buff. While I am all about sustain healing per sec, that is still more monk than I want my barb to be. Thus I figure smite is a good choice as it gives my allies or my self that 1.5 seconds to pop a pot or what not when I attack. Figure 20% chance is pretty good as 1 out of every 5 attacks will stun.

That is the set up I'm going for for Skills + Runes.

    I'm of course going 1h + Shield.
The gear focus are as followed:
    1. Strength
    2. Vitality
    3. All Resistances (or) Health Regeneration

Right now my Barbarian isn't max or close to max level. My Wizard is max level and farming Act 1 Inferno but I've played her from day 1 so I'm looking into a tank class.

I decided to play as a tank Barbarian instead of a Monk Tank, because when I played beta I didn't like 1h + shields and did duel wielding. duel wielding is good for normal, but in nightmare on it isn't viable or at lease that is how I view it. I have watched plenty of barbarians that teamed up with my wizard in act 2 hell to act 4 hell which I ended up teaming up with a friend who was a monk tank and his demon hunter friend to kill Diablo Hell difficulty.

One thing I don't know and I did want to concur this about my build.
I'm using both shouts and I'm curious are the shouts like the shields on wizards? such as you can have only 1 up?
Right now I'm trying to reduce all damage by 20% for 15 seconds flat and give us MF bonus.
Then I picked up my shout to increase armor and give me a nice health regen which also I gain 1% of my max health from my passive when I use this as well.

My tank is all about returning my health and really just sitting in their face if I can.
