I use the mobile app authenticator and my phone crashed and within the same day my PC decided to crash as well. At that stage they still didn't have the sms system on B.net and I had to send in a copy of my ID etc etc and they removed my authenticator within an hour or 2. But as authenticators go its pretty much the best way to protect your account. Had one for a while and I've never been hacked. My brother on the other hand was hacked twice before giving in and attaching one to his account.
