    i dont undertand this, they released most of the information in 1 year, and ignored the biggest complaints from the community, even mocked us by making the diablo "rainbow shirt", everyone was complaining then bashiok comes by and says a few words, and the idiots who post in the blizz forums agree and say it is ok for them to announce a game 3-4 yaers prior to release...

    it is not a marketing strategy either, because they dont need 3 years of advertising the game to make it popular, just like they made commercials for wow all they need is one commercial for d3 and it will catch on

    I'm just venting some frustration, what are some of your thoughts guys?

    From the way i think D3 is going to be, teleporting through a whole dungeon just to kill the boss would be worthless.

    What i mean to say is, the "Teleport fix" is actually gameplay changes such as killing 100 monsters profits you more than killing one boss. Blizz has to play with the XP and MF (items) you get from each boss and monster you kill and by doing so, teleport is fixed...


    Blah i know i didnt explain it good so deal with it.

    i understood what u said 100% and it is correct, if they make mfing only viable by killing act bosses then tele is still gonna stand strong, but if they make good items drop from random kills then teleport wont be needed as much (except for rushing, which i think they might find a way to stop that, but yes if all monsters drop good loot then tele problem fixed

    i think nerfing teleport is a terrible idea...yes it allowed the sorceress to zip through dungeons, get away from situations easily, and be a main pick for mfing.

    i think that is why they are changing it and adding a cooldown, because it made the sorc the number one pick for mfing, and they said this plenty of times (they dont want you to have to pick a certain class to play the game, but want you to do anything with any class), theyve stressed this so much that it has become annoying, its just game mechanics

    smarter to mf with a sorc (pre enigma), tank with a barb, uber with a smiter, cow with a zon...bc some characters are just stronger than others at certain things

    with a 9 second cooldown, teleport just seems worthless, and think about it so far from what we've seen if you get into a tight situation the barb has high life to handle that or he can just leap away, the monk is similar to the barb in the fact that he has to be involved in a fight in order to use his more powerful attacks, and the witch doctor can scare monsters away or even use zombie wall, the sorc on the other hand will have to run...and whats the point of nerfing tele if in the end the sorc will just run away from situations...its stupid and takes away from gameplay

    tele; just like stated before, is a way to manipulate the situation in your favor, by getting to a better position and with such a huge cooldown and monsters being faster like they said i dont see how teleport will be usefull at all

    bone//summon necros havent been good since they took out the marrow bug...

    i have run it on my summoner though, as long as you drag them out one by one ur ok, what i did was not summon anything tele'd close dragged meph to his side, then drew diablo out alone near the portal entrance went to town brought all my summons from pindle portal, then went back and solo'd each boss, took some time but i did it just to see if a summoner can do it

    something i noticed also...besides experience a character can also gain fame, and with every lvl of fain gained you also gain an extra skill point

    its story is similar to diablo 1 (1 town, huge dungeon) but it also has some side quests to places where you cannot tp out of...

    playing an alchemist, very fun and simple game play but one draw back is my minion's health isn't displayed so i constantly have to check on its health, interesting twist of plot yet sort of obvious, no background lore so story isnt quite clear gameplay wise 8/10

    just bought it, its pretty fun so far made an alchemist seeing as how necro was my favorite, ill update u guys asap on how everything goes

    the gameplay is diablo, and the action bars are a mixture of both diablo and wow

    the game has the same graphics from warcraft 3, in the after game when you could control that hero, but more in depth...i like it i am actually gonna buy it in a few hours when it is made available

    its an ok idea, i like the fact that you can respec but it also kills the reason to create multiple chars bc now a sorc can just respec and own whole game just like pally it brings balance but also less of a need to create new chars (not that a light sorc couldnt own already but id say cold is easier to mf some monsters)

    The TRUE Nephalem were the very first humans. Then after the worldstone got created, most did loose most of their powers.

    All the classes in Diablo unlock a small part of their Nephalem power by worshipping any of the true Nephalem and/or doing other mystical things.

    As an example, Rathma, who is the greatest Necromancer and the one who Necromancers worship, was a true Nephalem. But he also gained power from the legenday Trag' Oul. Other Necromancers worship Trag' Oul as well but they cant be as strong as Rathma...

    Another example would be Paladins who worship Angels / The Heavens to unlock a part of their magical power...

    Actually Mendelen is supposed to be a better necromancer than rathma, in the books he preforms spells that rathma didnt even think were possible
