posted a message on Burnt Frog Legs N' Pets!
Hey you guys wanted to stop by and give the build that I have been using on my witchdoctor for some time now to farm Torment 3 fairly quickly. It uses fire damage, pets, and of course some burning toads! Still trying to work toward T6 but I need a few more items or ideas, any feedback is appreciated!

    Skills:

    1. Plague of Toads - Explosive Toads
    2. Piranhas - Piranhado
    3. Locust Swarm - Searing Locusts
    4. Spirit Walk - Umbral Shock
    5. Gargantuan - Wrathful Protector
    6. Summon Zombie Dogs - Burning Dogs

    Passives:

    1. Grave injustice
    2. Fetish Sycophants
    3. Midnight Feast
    4. Fierce Loyalty

    Basic Idea:

Normally I would agree that toads is slightly uncontrollable outside the Rain of Toads rune. However with the Flayer Ceremonial Knife the toads are WAY MORE well behaved and double the damage is never a bad thing! Of course the build requires Mask of Jeram and Tasker and Theo also. But if you have those 3 items then the build should function basically the same for you.
I have about 1 million damage and just under 6 million tuffness.
Any Feedback is always appreciated, still working toward T6!

TL;DR: Burning Pets, Read the list, Watch the pets cook then eat faces!

posted a message on Easy T6 Blood Shard Farming
What up you guys, today we got a great way to farm the new increased blood shards from Torment 6 Rifts without doing all the work of Torment 6 Rifts.

    How it Works:

You start a game in adventure mode, torment 6, LEVEL 1, using a low level character. The game will be created with the low level high torment. You can then have someone hold the game open for you, while you swap to your level 70 toon. All the rifts you then create will be Low Level High Torment and grant you increased blood shards. Meaning a 2 minute Rift, can grant up to 100 blood shards. Remember all the loot on the ground will be level 1, so dont pick it up!

TL;DR Make game on level 1 toon torment 6, someone hold game open, swap to level 70, do rifts, get blood shards, not loot.

I hope this helps you out, and for a more detailed explanation please check out the video: Easy Blood Shards

posted a message on Rift it Forward
Hey you guys, made a quick video explaining how to be involved in the Rift it Forward community Rift It Forward Guide
For those who like to read instead, here we go.

Rift it forward is a community that aims to be a win win situation for all involved. There are 2 groups, Runners, and Openers. The runners are people who clear rifts in their own game solo, when they reach the rift boss they call in people from the community and all kill the boss together, everyone gets loot and xp/gold from the rift. Then one of the 3 who joined will open the rift for the runner, so he can do another rift, for free.

The openers win because only 1 of you actually has to open the rift, so there is a 66% chance, you get free blood shards! Hence the Win Win situation, everyone is a winner in the end.

I hope this helps you get tons of loot, and unlike MANY of the farming methods that have come about lately, i dont think this one will be getting the nerfbat, since its the first time anyone has used the communities for what they seem to be for, working together toward a common goal.

posted a message on How to get White Items in Bulk for Crafting
Hey you guys, with the latest changes to legendary crafting materials drop rates most people have started to get a decent amount of materials. The hardest part of crafting how now changed to the blue materials and ascended white gear to use as a base item.

The best way to get the white items is from a vendor in the fields of misery. If you go North-East until reaching the edge of the map, then explore that edge until you find her shack. It is not always open, but when it is, she usually has 1-2 different white items that can be used for crafting, and there is no limit to how many you can purchase. This is by far the best way to get 20 pairs of (whatever item you need) as opposed to praying they drop from mobs. Hope this helps you if you didn't know it was available.

TL:DR; fields of misery, north-east edge of map, vendor sells items including whites, no limit to how many you can buy!

posted a message on Bounty Cache Split Farming and You!
So everyone is opening 100 caches' at a time and your just sitting there with 4 an hour, what gives? Split farming.

    What is split farming?

Split farming is when a group of players gets together to complete the bounties in an act, but instead of staying together, you will split up and each complete your own bounty. Allowing you to complete all 5 much faster. With this method you can often complete an entire act in under 5 minutes, giving you 20 caches an hour.

Pro Tip: Legendaries are world drops, meaning that even if your not present, you will still receive your star on the map, can be good to check the zones other players clear, just incase. Also here is the list of legendaries from the caches:http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/82430-ros-faq-reaper-of-souls-frequently-asked#cachelegs

So yea, no big secret, but would hate for someone to not know this was available to them.

posted a message on Skeleton King Cursed Chest Farming
I think people are a little confused so let me clarify something. The chest is not a 100% chance to spawn. Thats a fact. *IF* the chest is there, it will be skeleton king, that is 100%. hope that helps you guys, keep grinding it, i have been doing this for the last few hours, still totally works.

Superstition in me says run the circle counter clockwise... i seem to get more chest spawns that way :)

posted a message on Skeleton King Cursed Chest Farming
Hey guys, so if you didnt know, there is a cursed chest that spawns in the Old Ruins with a 100% chance to spawn the Skeleton King once clicked. The zone also includes 1-3 elite packs and a very high chance to spawn the cellar which can often have a goblin. The drop rates from the Skelly King appear to be slightly better than regular rare mobs.

This map will show you the most common spawn locations. Make sure you do this in adventure mode. Map Link:Imgur Map Link
Be ready when you summon the king, he is not a nerfed version of himself, and if your not ready him + elite packs can really kick your ass. Here is a video, with a great example of me getting my ass kicked, with legendary rewards: Skeleton King Loot Run

posted a message on LvL 70 Melee Arcane Wizard
    Quote from lyll3k

Does Illusionist work with Dominance ? Is it about loosing life or just taking damage that can be absorbed by some kind of shield ?
From what i can tell, it does work with all forms of shielding, if you take the damage, or absorb the damage, it still seems to count for illusionist. This is exactly what allows you to spam stunlock with teleport, without actually loosing HP. There are examples of this in the last minute of the video, i figured that would be a common question :)

posted a message on LvL 70 Melee Arcane Wizard
Hey you guys this is my version of the Melee arcane wizard for doing torment 1+ at level 70. I was lucky enough to find a few arcane damage items and a moonlight ward so i figured i would put together a good melee build.

    Link to build:http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#WeScfQ!gdiS!ZaZZcc

    Skills:

    1. Spectral Blade - Siphoning Blade
    2. Arcane Torrent - Disruption
    3. Arcane Orb - Arcane Orbit
    4. Magic Weapon - Force Weapon
    5. Ice Armor - Frozen Storm
    6. Teleport - Calamity

    Passives:

    1. Dominance
    2. Illusionist
    3. Audacity
    4. Unwavering Will
The build Focuses on stacking right on the mobs, perma stun through calamity + illusionist, and then massive amounts of arcane damage. Has been getting me through my Rifts quite well. Hope it works for you.

posted a message on New Run Farming Single Quest Mob
Hey guys, so have seen a few people talking about a new run, so I went ahead and make a little guide on how to do it. What do you guys think of short runs like this, with this being as short as they get?

You start on Act 1, quest Shattered Crown. Once you kill MangleMaw and proceed into the next level below him, you will recieve the checkpoint. Allowing you to remake the game, and have him spawn when you go back into his room from below. You can then turn the Difficutly up to T6 as MangleMaw provides very little resistance on any Torment level. Thus getting increased legendary drop chance, and more loot per hour! I have heard this can also be good for people on hardcore, who wish to get a little more farm in before the ROS launch, since MangleMaw is so easy.

posted a message on Core Arreat Chest Farm
    Quote from mails

OK im so confused with the T1-T6 additional legendary drop rate. If i do this run in Torment 6 and just open the chests/vessels, not kill any mobs/elites/goblins, do i still have increased chance for legendaries? Anyone could run this in Torment 6 and just click on the chests.
What your saying is very true, you could just tuffness up, and run on T6 to get drops from the chests.

Notice: This may have been nerfed, i advise doing Rumford at the Gate Quest instead, I made a video for that Route Also. Link to playlist:http://bit.ly/D3Vids

posted a message on Rumford at Gate Loot Run!
I am back with another short loot run for you guys to check out. This one involves repeating Rumford at the Gate quest.

    How it works:

You start on Act 1: Quest 1: Part 2: Rumford at the Gate. You complete the quest as shown while killing 4 mothers, checking for 2 Cellar spawns, guaranteed white drop from Grislwalds old shop. And finish off with Wretched Queen kill. total of 6 locations for loot drops + free white item!

Again I have noticed very little difference between normal and torment 1 (T1-T6 has the same "very little difference" in drop rates) so I have forgone experience with hopes of moving a little faster throughout the whole run.

Check out the video for a Closer look at how the run plays out: Rumford At Gate Loot Run
Dont hesitate to leave a comment, Im sure you could think of a way to increase the potential of this run! STOP! Collaborate and listen....

To the man above me, we call that RNG. i know it seems huge, and your thinking that an hour is a good sample size. but it really isnt unfortunately. But i still do normal, i still get 1 every hour at least. sometimes 2 runs in a row like you did. RNG is such a fickle foe.

posted a message on Crypt of Ancients Wizard Build.
Here is my version of a build for doing Crypt of the Ancients while we still have all the Experience Buffs.

    How it works:

Since my gear does not quickly murder T6 like everyone seems to be doing, I found I got more XP on T5, so it may be worth looking into if you can kill the mobs quicker. I only fight in archon, leaving my out of archon abilities for whatever helps me escape to town to reset the zone. Its 20 seconds of as much damage as you can do. I was able to net around 1 Bil an hour on T5.

If you dont know how the crypt run works just watch the video.

    Skills:

    1. Slow Time - Point of no Return
    2. Mirror Image - Duplicates
    3. Magic Weapon - Ignite
    4. Familiar - Sparkflint
    5. Energy Armor - Pinpoint Barrier
    6. Archon - Improved Archon

    Passives

    1. Glass Cannon
    2. Conflagration
    3. Dominance
