I agree. I've been waiting for D3 since 2002. Back then it was said it would come out 2006. Before I know it, here it is... 2006... No news of D3. I hope them hiring new people is not the signal of the begining of D3, and they are just trying to meet a deadline. Anyway... I hope it comes soon... Also... fyi... they might have just put those job opportunities out there to create hype... I def wouldnt put it past blizzard to do that. They thrive off the hype... How much notice did they give before releasing WOW?
Also, I read on a website earlier this month that in some gaming magazine like Game pro or sumthin (I dunno, I dun read that crap), they had some unbelievably juicy news or something for the March issue. Someone mentioned it could be D3 release info or sumthin like that. Anyway... At this point, everything is speculation, including this hell vs. heaven thing. Remember that all this stuff flying around is 99.9% false. Blizzard has not said a thing yet. So stop getting your hopes up, and stop getting up mine while your at it.
BTW, I am normally a very optimistic person, but in this case, I feel that it is better to be realistic.
In early 2006, Blizzard posted a job opportunity on its website, stating: "The team behind Diablo I and II is looking for a talented, motivated, and experienced Art Director to help lead our art team in developing beautiful, cohesive game worlds for an unannounced PC Project and future projects." Listings for various game development positions within the Diablo team were simultaneously listed, as well.
