I am cool with not liking something, and posting that. You guys aren't doing that - you're just jackasses abusing anonymity.

No one is abusing anonymity ... trolling the General Forums, for many, is now more fun than the game. And in the General Forum there is no anonymity, Bliz knows exactly who everyone is. A few negative comments here is nothing... it pales in comparison to the Train Wreck that is the General Forums.

I am impressed actually, because the Forum seems to keep picking up steam ... and patches like this add fuel to the fire

Bullshit, Diablo 3 is an excellent game. I don't care about those 200 anonymous haters. They just camp the forums and think they can mean anything.

In fact they have zero impact. The most hated games are also the most sold games: COD - WoW - Diablo 3.

Real life mouth to mouth talk and friends talk is a 1000 times more important than some anonymous trolls on the internet.

No one is going to buy or cancel a car because a troll said Ford sucks,.

Apparently some idiots don't know it yet.

    It is their life. Shrug.

ya its cool the first few times through, but for many the dissapointment starts to set in around Act I Inferno. Maybe its too much grind, maybe its too much AH/RMAH, but if public games is any indication ... there has been a signifigant drop off in players.

If your telling me that I need to login and clear Act I everynight for 3 weeks to buy upgrades in the AH. Especially considering I am only farming Act I so I can farm Act II, so I can farm Act III, so i can farm Act IV. Meanwhile Bliz is rendering the upgrade you bought for 3million gold worthless, meaning the 2 weeks you farmed are now down the drain, and all the gold drops are being nerfed so you have to farm even longer ... ya ... well ... NO it doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun. and it doesn't sound like an excellent game.

posted a message on 1.0.3 Drop Changes Explained and Dev Blog Soon, Repair Cost Discussion, Lots of Blue Posts
at this point, the general forums are more entertaining than the game. Truth be told watching the train wreck that is those forums, is more fun that running the same act over again and being pissed off everytime a yellow drops that is useless to me and those in my party. To add insult to injury the stuff cant even be sold on the AH .. so I end up with dozens of items to vendor ... which dont vedor for very much

If I spend two hours playing with some friends in an evening i might walk away with 100-150k, I cannot buy a decent upgrade for under 2million ... so 15-20 days of grinding the same shit. it just isn't a whole lot of fun. the vases nerf only punishes those of us not botting or doing vase runs.

2 hours a week clearing DS got old after 6 months, but at least there I was garaunteed gear for myself or an alt ...

Pretty sad that they are doing a patch like this in the middle of the day. They should do it at around 1 AM PST when people aren't on.

only emergencies or extremely long patches start outside of business hours...these people have lives/families too

you don't work in IT do you?

    :)

but to be fair, 9-5 isn't the primary time for people to be playing so .. it makes sense for them to patch during the day
