After months of keep2 mp10 done and re-do, now i went on vacations to act1.
My route for the past few days has been 1.Festering Woods (faster nephalem stacking, 3 or 4, to take the most advantage from next areas) 2.Weeping Hollow (to be sure u have 5stacks for key and max xp from next area) 3.Fields of Misery
I assume that the zombies spitted in Weeping Hollow and the hatchlings in Fields of Misery are worth less experience since they are many and easy to kill.
My question is what is more "efficient" running mp8 with Hellfire ring and a red gem on the helm, or without those things for more survivality in mp10.
Were talking about a difference between ~700% experience to ~1000% experince and obvious slower killing. I wonder whats better.
Im using a wd with 240k unbuffed dps, doing firebats washingmachine.
I admire serious players like Tokio, ppl that take a part in theorycrafting and maximizing the potencial of each character in a non-serious environment that is a videogame. Hurray for you!

First Post woot! Pretty new to this but thought id try gaining some insight to monk gearing by readin people's responses and seeing where they're coming from.
Not at all a pro in this so im gonna take a few chances at stuff i see, might be wrong, in which case i apologize!
a) Could mayb up your attack speed a little? Especially with rings.
b ) Only 3 items with All Resist, but im guessing havnt been lucky enough to find Cold/All on the others thats worth it. Could potentially up that your res alot!
c) Nice & descent dps!
d) Can mayb look into Seize the Initiative over Transend to up that armor - which seems a little low.

Only been able to farm act 2 :\ 3 still kicks my ass. On a little sidenote tho - ive put in a personal challenge for myself to do all this without buying from the AH at all - so everything up till now has been drops only. Keeps it fun.

If ure monk is using self found gear only as u said, u must be the luckiest motherfucker on hearth ;p 162k dps without auction house? thats awesome sauce!
Awesome ideas, id love to have a trading post along with the auction house. Id love to trade groups of items or sell on the auction house grps of items
Ye thats wow mentality, theres no tanks in d3 bcs every1 is the tank. dont gimp ure dmg trying to achiev higher defence. the more dmg u deal the more u lifesteal and ure sustained like that...
Its fun till u realise u can just pop improved archon and farm mp7 easy
Then u get top notch gear and u realise than u can still die on mp9 and 10 due to archon form not being immune to cc like berserker
So ure tied to run CM wizzard and go nuts spamming 3 buttons non stop <---- i hate CM so i said byebye to my wizz ;(
im playing with gear around 1.5b budget and played all chars over paragon 40. Wiz is my favourite but it just sucks to have no option other than CM for mp10 farm (end game)
So, i bought the 0cd WD set to give it a try, i liked it and now i want to sell it.
Top end items for this build are vry expensive, the ones that let u achieve -33secs and give u acceptable dps.
Heres my offer:
Cost on auction house(at least):
Helm 240m (-8dogs, 4%crit and double int roll)
Soj 155m (-8dogs, 25% soj)
Offhand 60m (-17dogs "high" avg dmg offhand)
Total = 455m
Im selling for 400m the 3 pieces together - (buyer pays first) im not rich and cant risk being scammed.

The answear is that triunviriate adds 16%! to ure weapon "black" damage. If ure using a Chantodo main hand its less noticeable than if ure using a black weapon ofc, since Chantodo black dps is 50% and it has another 50% of fire dmg i think.
Wizards usually use triunviriate for a archon spec and chantodo offhand or tal rasha for cm spec bcs of the apoc.

So, a couple of comments;
1.Barb WWspec was not only nerfed via ending permaWotB, but also via WW movement speed and Battle Rage fury regen. Even if some of these class changes doesnt make it to live, we can be pretty sure that the WWspec is gone. They wont revert the 3 nerfs and any of those alone put an end to WW Barb.
2.We can see that permaArchon wont exist anymore but no changes to CM build, which is a bugged spec just like Barb WW... doesnt make much sense to me. A lvl60 wizard with CM spec can trivialize content at lvl70, everything is freezed anyway.
3.The wording change from Target to Enemy on all skills makes me think there can be a team arena like 2v2. I see that they want to separate friendly target from opponent target, Changing the names to Ally or Enemy on most of the skills.
