D4.... LOL, you kids are empty heads. Druid is coming and prolly a new xpansion, D4 is not even a thing, it will prolly never exist and if it will be released one day will be not even close to 2022. Get a brain people.
Are you stupid or something? They are working on new game for sure.
No here the stupid/moron is you seriously believing in D4 LOL. Any non retarded person who have a minimum of knowledge in game development know that D4 don`t exist and if will ever happen will be not before 2022+.
I dont know when but as we all know new game is on the work. Will it be d3 exp or d4 we dont know yet. No word about druid or any other class what so ever. Go get some facts before typeing nonsens here.

Aerisot posted a message on D4 classesPosted in: Diablo IV: Return to DarknessPlease keep it civil or I'll have to lock the thread.
Allegedly non of the D2 characters were corrupted, with the exception of maybe the druid, as his entire town/city was supposedly corrupted according to the Original Fanart book.
So I would like to see a return of some of those heroes, Paladin, Druid, Amazon (which was also in the art book), and Assassin.
If they are intent on adding new characters though, I would love to see a Spartan/Trojan type character, which honestly could just be the male version of the amazon
I think it is about time they introduce a demon and Angel as well, they have just as much to lose as everyone else, so it would be fun to play one of them, Demon could be trying to become the new Lord of Terror, and Angel could be seeking a spot on the Angelic council, that is there motivations.

Did you forget to read the first sentence in my post?
I also come back once in a great while to see if anything is stirring.
I'm willing to bet there's never going to be another actual meaningful update to Diablo 3 again. Of course I hope I'm wrong, but the writing's on the wall man.
Literally all it takes is to look at Path of Exile, and you know that D3 lost, a long time ago. It it absolutely MINDBLOWING how GGG from PoE can not only continue to deliver NEW content every couple of months, but how they are actually willing to change / add / tweak existing content right after it's release. When's the last time you've seen something from Blizzard that was borked, and they changed it quick? Blizzard has drowned themselves in too much red tape. Look how long it took to get the Necro.
Hell, at this point if Blizzard DID do a Diablo 4 reveal, there's no way I could get excited. It would release with minimal content, and it would take YEARS to get more.
Poe is better here, Poe is better there,...
Yet u are on a Diablo forum.
Either way, yes I still check here once in awhile. I DID spend a couple thousand hours on Diablo 3 since closed beta after all. But yes, PoE is better. Diablo 3 is bad and Blizzard should feel bad. -

I admire your perseverance, always trying to point out the positive aspects. I did that for a looooooong time. I went from super casual (D3V, never really got to MP10 farming status and not even close to paragon 100) to competitive (several high leaderboard spots in the first 3 eras) to semi-casual again (played only one weekend in the past 5 seasons, with the exception of S5 IIRC). I think it's not too much to ask that the game should still be exciting after ~35 hours played, but that was my approximate playtime in 4 of the past 5 seasons.Quote from Demonmonger»
I still find it funny that the only people with an issue are the ones who have 2,000 hours in the game.
At some point things become stale, it is not the fault of the game, if anything, it is the fault of your addiction.
They cannot give you 100% of everything that is behind the scenes, but if you learn to read the language, they gave a lot of hints. But you have to be able to understand implied theory, start educating yourselves!
Also, as someone who reads a lot on the forums and tries to grasp the community's perspective from all sides (not just the top players or the casuals, but sort of both) I can tell you that there are people annoyed/disappointed in every range. I know people who still play 500h+ every season, but that's just a handful. I know people who play only a few hours, not even until Conqueror, and even more people who don't play at all. Their complaints are always very similar: there's nothing to gain but paragon. For a non-hoarder the stash tab is meaningless, and the cosmetic rewards or achievements are just not enough.
Diablo is a loot-based game. Remember the Blizzcon video where past Diablo developers were just providing brief statements or single words about what makes the Diablo universe? Multiple of them shouted "loot". But in Diablo 3 right now, loot is meaningless. It is given to your for free at the start of each season. With Challenge Rifts, you will play with fixed items (not even your loot) and you will not even get loot (besides the reward if you make it into the top of a leaderboard, which is obviously only an option for a very small number of people). I'm a Diablo Fan, but Diablo 3 is moving into a direction which is, in my opinion, betraying its origin. It's not about "me having played thousands of hours". It's simply about the developers making changes that are wrong.
And I can tell you from looking at the statistics of Diablofans views, Reddit views, counters on my Diablo tools like the Journey tracker, and most importantly by just looking at the leaderboards (on some of them you get ranked with a GR40ish) that I'm not the only one. If in a game with 30 million sold copies only a few thousand are still playing at all, I think it's fair and just to discuss how to improve the situation. -

FoxBatD2 posted a message on Expansion, possibly new game in the works...Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionBlizzard North was independently working on D3 when WoW was gearing up for release, the project failed on their watch as so much key talent jumped to flagship. The D3 we have was built from scratch a bit after they shut down blizz north, meaning only 5+ years of actual development.

Nothing is a dream, it is people like you that want to ignore facts as presented to you.
Yeah dream on nothing will come except some halfhearted january dungeon and eventually the necro and armor rack late 2017, which is fine.. but not really what the game needed.
Blizz and a few of the dedicated D3 players could have taken this game somwhere, but Blizz is a big machine and I guess pets, transmog and the occasional useless legendary gem is what the game has come to. Sure necro looks cool, but the armory is really stuff anyone with 1000 hours D3 woudl have implemented years ago for free.
I do enjoy the game, but Blizzard is fuck all passionate about it..we used to get weekend buffs and events.. now they dont even care to change anything for new seasons except a new portrait or pet. Stop dreaming its not a conspiracy to make something grand new and shiny, its just a big corporation, killing its game slowly while selling as many D3 copies on post like this.
Whatever, to each their own. -

They did not humiliate a damn thing, you people need to drop it!!!!
Something along those lines (1st person, open-world survival) would give the franchise a nice reboot.
Imagine if they could provide the dark-tense atmosphere on d1 and (part of) d2 in a 1st person game.
It's so freaking sad that we have to try to find hidden clues in Job openings, after they decide to humiliate the Diablo franchise on its 20th anniversary.
You think that the darkening of Tristram and motivation to create the Necro is nothing? All World of Warcraft did for its 10 year anniversary was offer an xp boost, and give a small bag of goodies.
The passion they are pouring into D3 is evident, they still care about the game immensely, and the lot of you need to stop acting like self-righteous people and see the facts! - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Just my opinion, but the pure arpg genre is on the way out. The up and coming "heavy hitters" that people are super excited for (lost ark, albion online, lineage eternal to name a few) are all really different from each other and cater to different players but they all have one thing in common, they are hybrids. Lost Ark for example is mmo/aarpg. I think Blizzard knows this and that's why they are looking for a new Diablo team. They can blend genres really well as proven with Overwatch. They also take proven formulas and benchmark them to make them epic. I know Blizzard can do it, they just need to get clear on what they want to accomplish with this IP. Just the way I see things and is neither truth, fact, or anything to take to heart. Just an observation.

Three possibilities crossed my mind:
1. Just some machina that someone made to troll.
2. Someone made this just to make it, there is no rhyme or reason.
3. This is indeed a hint for the next Diablo Expansion that will take place in the Eastern Kingdoms (Xiansai, Skovos Isles, Torajan Jungles, Etc). Why? Well Murlocs are from the Eastern Sea/ Eastern Lands, Pandas the same, and the last thing we saw could reference Ao Guang- the Chinese Dragon King of the Eastern Sea.
I'm kinda leaning toward the first one but who knows...

If Diablo 4 is barley being conceptualized then we might not see it for 3-5 years. Perfect timing imo. New Xpac for next year then couple of years of drought except for season content then bam! New Diablo Game. Idk just throwing it out there.

about game systems that seem to fall short of their potential. I offer a potential remedy to one of the current games biggest
gripes: Stash Space
Problem:
- Not enough available stash space to store all the items one wishes.
- Some completely fill up all their tabs with just their main character's items.
- Having an Alt is to some, completely out of the question because of space limits.
- Messy stacking of Greater Rift keys
- Core of this problem is various sets and legendaries which can at any point in the games life become highly viable (nerfs/buffs, future items, new builds, etc.)
Possible solution:
- The soul system; Take a legendary or set item and destroy it whilst keeping it's soul intact.
- These souls would stored in a book (database) that is separate from the stash, Say a new artisan or a current one.
- The destroyed item keeps all its stats that were on it when it was found/enchanted.
- Then to have that item restored to physical form you could pay a hefty fee of gold and one forgotten soul.
- Only three versions of a particular Item could be stored in the book.
- Soul system would require a hefty gold sum for first destroying the item and solidifying it to put in place a meaningful gold sink.
- Items can be destroyed and reinstated ad infinitum.
Continued:
- Same exact principle for Grift Keys except when you get a Key it's a blank, then whatever was your highest completed grift would be your maximum
you could imprint the key with. When you first get the key you will do a Trial to determine where you'll start.
- Grift keys are NOT destroyed upon use, instead you can reuse them as much as you want until you have surpassed that current level and unlocked/feel you need a higher key or that you want to get a lower key for alt gem leveling.
- Then you just get your current gem and rewrite it with level of your choosing up to your maximum completed grift.
Example:
Joe Lucky is doing a rift when another incredible Furnace drops for his witch doctor. "This is amazing!" he says, "I'm going to keep this one for my wizard".
Only problem is that Joe didn't bother to go through his stash post patch day and there is no room to store it for his wizard =(. Well there is now a simple solution to this woe. Joe takes his new Furnace, extracts its essence and now the furnace lives forever in soul form in the Book of War. "Now let me hop on my wizard and get this baddie!". "let me see... 2 million to Re-materialize this Furnace, nice! Now I have something to spend all these millions of gold on". Now the only thing left for Joe to do is go through his stash and do this with all the items he wishes to keep. Thus his stash dilemma is solved =).
Well guys there it is. Discuss any pro or cons constructively.
Have a good one.

I'm surprised that Travis Day went as far as he did with this guy.
1
Quiver- Impale gains the effect of Ricochet and has a 7% chance to release Fan of knives on hit.
Amulet- Remove the arming time of Spike Trap and all explosions happen instantly.
Belt- Condenses Multishot into a single slug of bolts that consumes all remaining hatred; Damage is remaining hatred x 41%.
1 hand bow- Chains from Entangling Shot are now serrated causing 200% per second to all enemies who touch them.
That's all for now.
