Well one of the biggest advantages is having a community with a bunch of players to game with, not only with Diablo 3 per say, but other popular games. As well as an active, and up-to-date forums that has a topic and section for just about anything. Helps with boredom at work sometimes
For our D3 members, I know I have personally farmed act 1 inferno, killed belial inferno & did some act 2 farming with all new applicants who are now members of ECG for the D3 section. And they can vouch for me on that. Not just that, having people to talk to about Diablo 3 or to just hang out with and talk to while playing, helps make the farming go by easier.
