This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. The insect swarm was Horde, Arcane Enchanted, Plagued, Reflect Damage, Mortar (yeap 5 affixes). The shamans were Arcane Enchanted, Molten, Reflect Damage, Mortar.
Met the the former while kiting the latter.... );
Both Arcanes faded cos the screenshot was taken a few secs after death when I was looking at what we were dealing with lol, so no disco lights in the SS~
Man i got 3.2 APS barb and it's absolutely not too powerful. Life on hit will be super nerfed imo after this IAS nerf as well imo, because Loh depends on your speed.
But you might not need so much LoH anymore cos incoming mob damage is being reduced. See how it works?
If your talking about when they are buffing legendary's? The ones that currently exist wont change, only new drops.
Misinformation. IAS not working and fixing it is NOT a buff. It was always intended to have working IAS. BUFFING Legendaries however (making them more powerful than their current intended usage) will not be retrospective. Fixing a BUG however should.
Your Xbow probably dropped your damage cos xbow passive is only 50% crit damage, whereas your bow is base 90% crit damage AND 15% extra damage from Archery passive. But bow's minimum damage is always very low, and is the most inconsistent damage (maybe 1h xbows are worse, haven't used both in a long time). I'd say get a freakin huge 2h xbow with crit damage, or if that is not possible, just get a high damage 2h xbow (something in the 1.2k damage range) even without other stats. I went from a 915damage xbow with 55% crit damage and Life on Hit +900 to a 1.2k damage weapon with no stats and my damage went up by 7.5k with no SharpShooter.
Cost me 4m though for that xbow.. I switch my weaps accordingly if there are Reflect Damage mobs
Yeah I try to skip them. I couldn't so I relogged. Then I got Soul Lashers with Teleport and Reflect Damage. So I relogged again. And again. And again. FOUR times in a row the game gave me Soul Lashers with Teleport and Reflect Damage. I logged out and went to sleep.
Well since he figured it out, maybe this would be an ok time to ask if there is a difference in loot between act 3 and act 4. I have heard there isn't, which is why I'm asking, though I am doubtful. I have done maybe 20 Sbreaker runs and seen very few good items, whereas I found a 1300 dmg 1her in act 4 randomly off an elite pack.
I believe there should be a difference in iLvl between Act 3 and 4.
Ah, I didn't think about that
Why would you wipe on The Butcher for so long anyway?
I was totally using the wrong skills hahaha. I was still thinking of "Hey I came from Hell, Inferno isn't that hard hehe, I can just Impale the boss". Apparently not... I was also SS'ing through every ability which was a waste, since everything can be avoided except the AoE chains.
Hell, I spent 2.5 hours on Butcher Inferno cos I didn't want to switch skills and lose my NV buff.
Sorry to have to call your bullshit here, but you can't spend 2.5 hours without losing the NV buff, because it runs out after 30 minutes.
After the buff is gone I relog to farm 5 stacks again, and 2.5 hours is just the amount of time I spent Also, it was like 2am and I wasn't playing at my best xD Woke up in the morning fresh and got it down after 30 mins (2 hours the day before)~
Very true. After Act 1, I tried Act 2. Died a couple of times then logged out cos it was late. That weekend I just needed a break from the 1shots and helped my friends get through Hell. Then on the following weekend (didn't play much during the week) I just told myself that I will finish Act 2 at any cost. From getting used to getting 1 shot from everything, pesky insects that are tough to see against the colour of sand, having lacuni's kill you before they land cos of latency, getting stuck on a Reflect Damage/Desecration/Extra Health/Arcane Enchanted spider champ pack (who by default already move pretty fast) and watching 4 stacks of NV buff ticking down slowly to expiry and no way of getting past that mob and finding a tactic or small changes that were able to change the tide of battle.
Hell, I spent 2.5 hours on Butcher Inferno cos I didn't want to switch skills and lose my NV buff. Normal Diablo with 1.2k HP etc etc, just gotta run and run and run and change how you play
That's the joy of playing a DH. Trying out everything to deal with a situation, or changing how you play with the skills you have on your bar (so that NV doesn't drop off xD ). One shot Zoltan Kulle, and died to Belial about 15+ times before I managed to survive Phase 2 of the fight solo. Act 2 done!

I didn't really understand your first post cos it's really unclear what weapon has what stats...

These are also imaginary numbers. Lol. Want to talk squishy? I'm a pure glass cannon DH and NOTHING has hit me for over 120k damage.

With incoming damage going down and repair costs going up in the next patch, this may very well be a DH item.

Never give up, you will be able to do it~
