One question, whats the best build for fire UE using Kridershot? If I go to imolation arrow I need to use polar station.....and the great night stalker is useless with it. So, Immolation + Polar or Frostarrow? Blood vengeance over night stalker or ambush?

Well, the survival of this set is exactly the same as the marauders. There is no possible way for a DH to survive without Vault/Smokescreen and exceptional skill, using a lot of stutterstep and kite. The closest thing you can do to survival comes from Natalyas set.

Excuse me, but exceptional skills my arse. :D With marauder you dont even have damage until you have 5 sentries down, and when winged assasins with jailer thunderstorm wait you iright in th door you are fckd.

Exceptional rifts, not exceptional skill. :D:D:D:D:D

Unhallowed can have much more toughness, it has damage reduction, it deals its damage insantly unkile marauder setup. You get a much easier resource management, much more focus on actual gamplay.

Unhallowed beats marauder on at last 5 different levels surviveability wise, Plus it deals more damage.

Completly agree with you in everyting. Exceptional rifts are way more important indeed.

posted a message on Balefire Caster Weapon Upgrade worth Changing build to fire??
I got an Ancient Calamity as well. I use multishot fire build for group play and cold when alone. Maelstrom works well with sentries because the whole lot of missiles will hit everyone, while loaded for bear will have a lot of "overhit" (I mean, the 5 sentries can fire at the same target and overkill it), but I'm still in doubt. Will keep testing but I do think that my multishot build with calamity is working better than the cold one even when alone. Another thing I'm in doubt is Zei gem. Pretty hard to get all that damage bonus alone, I'm thinking about using the poison one instead.

Played at PTR and M6 is AWESOME right now. The burst damage with sentries is outrageous. A fire build using the fire one hander and cindercoat and changing the build to Loaded for bear and everything was being blowing out ou the water in AWESOME ways. Its just sooo much more fun. Never had a single problem with Reflect Damage in GR 37/38/39, when they start reflecting, just shoot the wall that your sentries still aim automatically. Do not fear my fellow DHs, our build is better than ever. Its pretty amazing seeing your sentries shooting for 300m a single shot. After that, I cant go back....thx god tower defense DH is gone! It was not a nerf FOR SURE....the damage is tooo damn high.

If anyone want know, the build a used was this one http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#bPSkdO!ciUX!YccabY

Replaced tasker for a marauders glove, put a cindercoat, replaced etrayu for the fire onehander abd that was it. Have huge amounts of fun.

U dont just simply vault away from the teleport strike lel :D u vanish it :)
Thats true for yellow unique ones. The rare blues one are almost impossible to vanish them all. Unique ones can be vaulted but are harder. Using Zei right now I can do GR35/37 without any jailer killing me, I just stays in a place that they dont hit me. Still, boring as hell.

posted a message on Zei or Powerful?
Playing like a madman at seasons, I'm finally in a point that I'm close to get 38+ GRs with a little luck. Still, I'm testing Zei instead of powerful and the outcome is nice right now. When in a 4 group GR this is WAY better than powerful, but even solo, with so much tanking from pets and templar, adapting your gameplay a little and the multiplicative damage makes the difference. Is anyone testing it too?

The worse thing is....even melee players with 15m toughness die for instant for jailer em higher GRs so we will never survive GR40+ no matter what. You just need to keep going back and wait for it to die following your sentries. Thats just too damn boring.

Zei is wonderful in 4 player GR. Just let a monk pulling everything, place your sentries far and do awesome damage. Alone is harder to work.

Toughness in generell doenst tell you how well you can mitigate certain elite affixes. You could have like 15mil toughnes with high HP and using string of ears and things like jailer/thunderstorm/frozen/electrified still hurts you a lot. So for solo runs id rather bump arcane/lightning/fire resist and getting as much hp as needed that a single tick/hit of the related elite affixes doesnt proc my awareness.

I can do GR37 even without double unity. At 38 things gettin rough and the risk to die is much higher since when im not paying 100% attention im a oneshot when awareness is on cooldown. Im running like 8mil toughness with +1k arcane/lightning/fire resist and 18karmor. Being PL600+ helps a bunch on that matter.
I just can't get there in seasons yet. GR37 Jailer is a PAIN without double unity. SOJ is helping me kill it fast at least. Its really a countdown when I find out a Jailer...I got all the way back and wait. Such a boring mechanic.

When you guys say that you are using Unity, I assume is one for you and another one for your immortal templar, right? Either way...I play D3 since vanilla and I still never saw a damn unity drop. I have a single one at my templar that a friend gave me. I'm pretty sure I'm bugged.

Krider with sentries in 2.1 (and only in 2.1) is one of the best combos out there because you can have 3 spenders, so your sentry will never, ever, shoot a normal bolt, boosting your overall damage. Can't tell if its the BiS (This is so hard in D3) but it is a powerfull combo indeed. But ONLY in 2.1 since this patch fix a bug in sentry rotation with Elemental Arrow. Right now, a really good Buriza is probably better than Kridershot.
