Proof that Blizzard supports gold farming bots and will never ban them. Why else would they be adding this?

Er... because... it's fun? God forbid!

Cause we all know normal Act 3 farming players are going to use these and not every single DH thats running Arret Crater on NM difficulty in full GF and a pickup raidius so large they get gold from other people's games.

Which ever class has 200+ mil in gear. Then you can just remove any shred of skill this game might have required from the equation as its impossible for anything to kill you.

I'm pretty sure that Blizzard posts have said at least once that when we get great gear they feel we should overpower mobs and start to feel godly. So I'm not sure what your point here is, other than to troll.

He asked what the easiest class for farm Act 3 is and the only correct answer is the one wearing Fort Knox in gear. Even as bad as WDs are if you pump enough gold into one they will be unstoppable farming machines. Just like at the start of Inferno when melees were so bad before all the nerfs. They were only bad because it took them longer to get gear compared to wiz/DH. Now that all calsses are geared melees blow ranged away. Im including WW/CM wizards in with monks/barbs since they arent ranged anymore. So the only correct answer to this topic is the class with a ton of gear. A ridiculously geared WD is still going to farm better than an average geared DH.

    2/10 troll.

If you don't have 2 billion gold to spend, i wouldn't aim for a stress free WW barb. WW barbs are probably the most expensive thing you can gear up right now.

Only if you are trying to also run max MF as well. I spent maybe 25 mil on mine and got

    42k health
    1500 str
    48% crit chance
    350% crit damage
    800-850 resists
    1450 LoH

Im guessing thats enough for Act 3. If not it will mow down act 2 like nothing.

Swapped my shoulders for some more resists and vit and managed to get to 39k HP and only lost 25 str.

Just need to figure out if I actually need 12% boots or not now.

Like I said in the other thread, that should be enough for a3 though it will take some time getting used to the build to know how to survive some of the tougher affixes. a2 should be a cakewalk.

Whats there to get used to? From all the videos I watch you just run around, stuff instantly falls over at your feet, and you pick up phat loot.

Will be going WW/Nado build. I have been putting what gear I could find on my wizard over the last week snagging some good deals and so far these are my final stats. Obviously I can only list my str as I cant get a correct DPS off a wizard. Also no clue what my armor will be as well.

    HP: 36K
    Str: 1561
Resists: all around 500 w/o buff and with wiz 40% they are 700 so obviously more with barb 50%
Dodge: 19.6% (like this is even gonna matter but a miss is a miss I guess)
Armor: kinda hard to tell because of no passive like tough as nails im at 5200 with enchantress so I guess if I use Tough as Nails add 25%.
Crit Chance: 33% so 5% more from Ruthless and 10% more from Weapon master so 48% total
Crit Damage: 300% so 350% when Ruthless is added in
    LoH: 1446

Is that going to be good enough for Act 2? My Helm is my only pieces that has no resist all but trying to get a helm with a socket for 15% life, 50+ resist all, vit, 4% crit, and str is expensive as hell and I stopped trying to find one after i got to 6 mil and had not seen anything with what I needed. Also my boots have no runspeed should I get some 12% boots?

Guess I should list my weapons:
MH: 769 DPS with 103 vit and 157% total crit damage also has a bleed no idea if that can proc LoH
OH: 500 DPS with 132 str and 95% crit damage with 862 LoH

How much all resists should I get for Act 2? I have been buying gear pieces where I could find good deals since my Barb will be 60 soon and just keeping it on my wizard so I can see where my stats stand.

    HP: 32K
    Armor: ????
    Str: 1509
Resists: 450-550 but thats with the 40% wiz shield so add 10% more for war cry
Crit: 33% but thats not counting Ruthless and Weapon Master
Crit Damage: 50% but not counting Ruthless or my weapons.
LoH: 584 but again no weapons yet

Would that be enough for Act 2 farming assuming I get another 200% crit damage from weapons and another 800-1000 LoH depending on if it get both weapons with LoH?

For a WW/Tornado barb what should my stat priorities be? Also I know I cant afford gear to jump into Act 3 and start farming so what should I aim for when building gear to do Act 2 as fast and efficiently as possible? What stats should let me comfortably farm Act 2 at the same rate a lower geared person might farm Act 1?

Also should I ignore MF completely and just focus on my real stats or try and use a few MF pieces? I have farmed the last 2 months on my wiz for 5-8 hours a day doing both Acts 1 and 2 with a MF ranging from 250-350 when buffed with 5 stacks and have only gotten a single decent drop. Got a X-bow that sold for just enough to buy GW2 so I dont know how these people are selling $200 items all over the place and walking around in 250+ mil gear. Do I need to start farming like 20 hours a day because obviously farming 40-50 hours a week with a high MF wasnt enough. Or should I just forget about that useless stat and focus on my real stats so I can farm faster?

I know I dont have the gold to outfit a class for speed farming Act 3. But for zerging through Act 2 with maybe a little bit of MF gear what would be the best class? Im talking speed regarding both moving around from elite to elite and also killing everything with little to no chance of dieing. Im thinking about giving up my wizard for something else.

Was a nice idea on paper but after thinking about it I just dont feel like playing anymore. Barb wouldnt have worked anyways seeing how they need the most gear of any class. If WDs didnt suck so bad might have tried one of them since I have never played one before. Oh well time to dump all my wiz gear on the RMAH and see if I can at least get something.

Just wondering if this would be possible. I just dont have it in me to continue what I had planned when I first made this topic. Would be interested to hear if anyone could do it though. Sort of like that WoW Ironman challenge. Just beat Diablo and be facerolling Act 3 within a months time without ever touching the AH.

posted a message on What act do you farm in MF gear.
Dropping all my MF gear to move into Act 3. After 2 months and never getting a damn thing farming with anywhere from 250-350 MF i have concluded its a worthless over hyped stat. If I had concentrated on more resists, vit, and DPS I could have easily been doing Act 3. Yet for some retarded reason I had this idea that sticking with Act 1 for so long with 300+ MF was going to get me awesome loot. The only thing it got me was a ton of worthless sub 60 rares. Once I started only picking up 61+ gear exluding 61 weapons because they cant ever be good. I found I only got 15 drops for a 45 min Butcher run on average. Yea MF is so win....

I am switching to Act 3 now. Dropped my source for a shield and it got a lot easier. WW/CM wiz build with 900-1000 resists. Im dropping down to 0 MF because after 2 months of running with 325-345 MF depending on how lazy I was to swap in a shield I never got a damn thing while farming Act 1 and tried Act 2 for a week with 250 MF with same results...pure shit. Plan on dropping all of my MF gear for more resists, int, and crit so I get more DPS and survivability and lose a worthless crap stat. At first I was all aboard the MF train saying anyone who doesnt farm in MF is just fail. Now when I look back I was the one who was fail. I could have been farming Act 3 with 0 MF at least a month ago maybe more but I wasted it farming Act 1 with 325. Who knows how much better loot I passed up for all the shitty sub 60 rares I always got in Act 1.
