Same applies for lightning damage? He's simply switching his cold damage for lightning, no? Plus we don't even know if he is using Elemental Exposure or if he plays solo or group... All we know is that he is using a mm/conflag spec.

I think the sneaky changes they did to Firebird's 6pc when it went live takes the target's full mitigation into its damage calculations. That is wrong. It should do the full damage (3000% wpn dmg per second) once it becomes fully stacked and infinite. That damage number should always be the same from monster to monster, regardless of their toughness.
That is not what we are experiencing right now. Blizz should stop relying so much on their internal QA department and listen to their real testers: us, the players.
Yes, I know... I totally table-flipped when I saw the post up on the front page... I don't know what the devs are thinking over at Blizzard, they've been doing the "stacking buff" mechanic for decades and now they're completely destroying its purpose?

I'm fine with that... 1% was indeed OP with maxed gem + maxed stacks... But now comes THIS:

No longer refresh stacks? Gem is now completely useless... What's the point? the way the gem works on the PTR is for each EB cast, you gain 2 stacks. Now, the maximum stacks we'll get is 4? (EB can only be casted twice within the 4 seconds timeframe)...
Lets hope they revert it to its previous version...

As for skills, use Teleport: Safe Passage with Illusionist passive. Use it as soon as it's available for an additionnal 25% damage reduction.
