You don't need resists for Inferno as a wizard.150-250 is all you need. Yes, you'll be a glass cannon, but if you have 40K hp+ you will survive anything other than Diablo and oppressor charges.
Teleport - Wormhole with illusionist will get you out of almost any situation.
I keep hearing about oppressor's charge, is this the stongest attack in the game?
With 45k hp I survive it like 1 in 10 times.... Its probably the strongest attack in the game other Diablo's teleport/charge swipe or your clone's attacks in the shadow realm. That is other than the super telegraphed things other mobs do.
Oppressors are really easy to deal with though... just find a corner and the can't charge you.
Does it increase your intelligence and not sacrifice vitality? Upgrade
Does it increase your vitality in a manner that doesn't completely gimp your intelligence? Upgrade
Does it increase your attack speed? Upgrade
Does it increase your movement speed? Upgrade
Crit doesn't really scale that well for wizards in my opinion, you're better off going for more attack speed and movement speed to making kiting easier.

Diamond skin kinda sucks once you reach a certain hp threshhold. Teleport is a much more viable alternative as a defensive ability at that point. Granted there's are exception(Azmodan).
Its from wormhole... If you hold down the teleport button, the 1 second window for the 2nd teleport can be used for a 3rd and 4th teleport. I'm not sure about this, but attack speed may also affect it since all attack speed really does is lower attack animation time. I will check that out when I get home.

Seigebreaker with 5 stacks can drop some really nice stuff and its pretty quick. You can do an entire run in 25-30 mins if you're lucky. Also if you swap to MF gear right before you kill Seigebreaker, you can get more/better items as well.
You're going to have to play the AH. I have yet to see anything drop that I personally can/want to use, but I have made a bit of gold from drops to buy stuff I want.
The only place I've found mirror images really effective is on Diablo to remove debuffs. In other areas, teleport + wormhole is usually all I need elsewhere.
So I'm not seeing how that's an easy combo.... One teleports in front of you and fire chains go out resulting in almost instantaneous death. I did mention they're fast right? Oh and the packs I was having issues with were the naturally fast snake guys in Act 2 with their evil invisibility...

I should have made the topic Fast Teleporting Firechains + anything... I was pretty frustrated last night getting 3 packs of them in a row :/
As for mortar, the monsters pause when they throw the mortar, change your direction slightly when they do so any you'll never be hit. For vortex, pillar hump and you'll never be dragged in.
Meh... I can't do them with 35k hp and 33k dps... Farming hell won't help me with them In Act I they have so little hp I can blow them up, but Act 2 or higher, they just suck.
