I personally have had the best luck with fire. But I doubt it matters.

The only thing I do different is use dashing strike over cyclone strike. However I LOVE cyclone strike, I just feel I need the quick movement skill to avoid desecrate like abilities. I am level 56 and my stats are 23k HP, 3400 armor, 3700 DPS(blessed to have a 340 dps 1h). I currently use a 1h and shield. If I find another great 1h I may go back to dual wield. Using sieze, resolve and transcedance as my passives. I too use healing manta. I WANT to use evasion or conviction. But the constant HoT and ability to pop a better HoT at will is just to valueable for me right now.

Thanks Razaik, that was helpfull. I think I will stick with the shield for now then. The DMG reduction and stats are just too great.

I have been messing around with using shields when I can aquire a strong enough 1h(hell act 1). Anyone have any thoughts on this? Am I just giving up too much dmg for the sake of survivibility?
