    Carries For a Cause

This will be my 3rd year participating in The Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk – a charity drive to raise awareness for suicide.

Suicide has taken far too many of our neighbors, friends, children, family, and veterans. Awareness for mental health concerns does help prevent this from occurring.

These past two years I have been able to raise over $2,000 – due in large part from donations from the diablo community.

As I begin this charity drive for the 3rd year – this time walking approximately 16 miles overnight in Philadelphia, PA, I’d like to reach out to my diablo family again – in the hopes of reaching my collection goal of $1,018.00. You may donate by clicking HERE.

Add me for the carries – ysoserious#1818

Please read below for some further info.

    FAQ:

    1. How does this work?
      1. I will provide carries (rifts, grift, vaults, powerleveling), season or non-season.
      2. All I ask is that you merely consider donating to this cause.
      3. I am providing the carries to raise awareness for this issue. Whether you choose to donate is up to you!

    2. Must I donate anything?
      1. Not a penny. This is entirely your choice.
      2. There is no ‘quid pro quo,’ – you are not paying me for anything.

    3. Will you carry for free?
      1. Time permitting, I would love to.
      2. I carry people for free on a daily basis.

    4. Where is the money going?
      1. Directly to the charity. I will never have access to any of your personal information.

    5. How do I know this is legit?
      1. Please do your due diligence. Google “overnight walk” - it should be the first link that comes up.
      2. Hopefully other folks that have donated to this in the past can verify that this is legitimate.

    Thanks for your time,

    Ysoserious#1818

That is fine then. Passion about the game is great - which you clearly do have. But point out the flaws in their arguments. Insulting the community as a whole, or stating that the game is 'dead' does not really help move the argument forward, wouldnt you agree? I mean no disrespect here - but as a player who actually does know a lot about the game (i've played essentially every day since diablo 3 launch) - it does bother me when the conclusion to what could have been a valid argument is 'game sucks, community is terrible.' A final thought, and maybe you were just venting in your post, but i think the diablo community as a whole is great. Maybe try not to judge the community by the outliers that tend to post the most?

I've seen posts like yours frequently, and out of a matter of simple curiosity i'd like to know.... why are you here. it is one thing to provide constructive criticism for a game in the hopes of making it better... but to post on a diablo forum that the game is dead, and the community is terrible... seems kinda pointless. I dont play wow - never did much for me. But I dont spend my time on the WOW forums insulting the game or its player base. If you truly do not enjoy this game - then remove the fansite from your bookmarks, and move on. There are plenty of things to do on the internet other than insulting strangers, and a game that - contrary to many toxic posts i see - is still alive and well. I truly do wish you all the best in your future endeavors, and hope that you are able to surround yourself with what makes you happy - instead of posting on a forum for a game that clearly does not.

posted a message on Issue accessing Clan info

Hey all - i already reported this to blizz, but wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem.... i'm unable to access my clan page (roster, clan chat, anything)... Im the clan leader, so I cant simply leave / rejoin the clan to reset any bugs. I've tried to disband the clan as well (as per blizz suggestion), but i'm required to promote an officer to leader before i do so.. anyone have suggestions for a work around?

posted a message on massive stuttering lately anyone?

QUOTE - "FEIF81 Have u tryed to play on 32 client? standard is 64client but many ppl cant play on that including me,
Battlenet app-settings and change to 32 client- restart"

--this is why i love this community... always trying to help out!!

Tested this and it seems like it's greatly reduced the issue (fingers crossed). While I did test it out on off peak hours, it seemed to run relatively smooth.

Thanks again! hopefully this fixes the problem.
