Well a friend of mine claims to have a demo of sorts of diablo3. What he claims is that one of the new characters will include a 'gunner' and new acts will continue on from 1-5. Meaning you can go back to the original acts, but the final bosses wont be there. There will be a continuation to at least 2 more acts, which is as far as what he claims to have goes, and in the next acts, it will be more of a Heaven and Hell look about them.
I have no proof of this actually being truth or rumor, but one thing of it does make semi-sense. That is what the new acts theme would be, Heaven and Hell. This is because through the storyline, a heaven and a hell are mentioned. Im mainly focusing on the hell part tho due to the fact that the prime evils were exiled out of hell. This showing that there must be a higher power of sorts to accomplish such a feat.
Actually i dont have the time to go through and read all the posts/topics. I have a life, which to me seems some of you may not. This was just some info i had gathered up throughout my research on the subject. If the same info had been posted, sry, but all you have to say is that it had simply been posted. I also never said that the progress will be stunted or anything of the sort, as you have already said, Blizzard has been hireing for more than a year, simple logic states that the Blizzard North team has been out for more than a year. Its obvious by the progress in other game franchises and the progress on Diablo2 that a Diablo3 will not be released sooner than you mite expect. But beleive me, im not one with the patience to wait much longer. The reality of the matter is, the games release date will not be effected by simple people who post/moderate these forums, unless of course they are apart of Blizzard staff. Unless you are intitled to any rights within the game, im also sure that the petition, which i have signed, would do much good, because the final decision will be based on whether blizzard is ready to release any information. Well the Blizzard North team, who originally started the diablo franchise, have since quit and/or been fired. Not saying that there wont be a D3, but for it to be released within 2 years is probably highly improbable.
