Doo, there are so many good sites and videos out there from amazing streamers to show you some tips to farming, if it's efficient routes, or just solid farm guides.
I'm curious to what others may say to your post, but IMO, I started out with a DH myself, and was really having a hard time farming. I finally got my barb up to inferno and I have to say the game is so much more fun for me. I'm not running from battles anymore, I run into the fight. My legendary item find has really increased just by the shear amount of monsters that I'm killing.
I know it's not what you want to hear, but I'm telling you it's a lot different. Good luck!
