Highly doubt we'll see a serious dent in Inferno. Act one might be down by monday at best? Each difficulty transition, each new zone just gets blindingly harder. Except for the Skeleton King, he wasn't any harder in Hell (52 monk) than on Normal.

My 4 man farm group recently did inferno trash to butcher a few times and I agree a bit monk survivabilty is really cooldown rotation reliant and can be a roll of the dice. Here's my current build http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#aTXghY!YXb!ZcZYaa

Here be the build I'm using, trying to cover all the bases I can since you can't really swap specs come the Valor buff. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#aTXgjQ!XZe!accbbb
My basic stats current 997 Dex, 627 Vit, 3730 armor, 5232 damage.
Post your Inferno/Hell farm build. Share in woe or head bashing.

I prefer FIst over Crippling simply due to the bonus Spirit Gen with 1h/shield or DW. Staff so far just feels too slow even if the potential spirit gen is huge. Sweeping wind kept up with a barb or someone else who can vortex enemies in is hugely effective. Serenity rune can be changed to the group affect if you don't need the 4 extra seconds
I think my build is about as balanced as possible. Reasonable aoe with wind, quick burst and immunity from Seven and Serenity. For bosses and super tough groups Ill switch to Fist of Thunder with lighting flash for survivability. IMO monk passives are amazing for defense, the others haven't seen much use.
