posted a message on Are Demon Hunters super squishy?
On my WD (level 40) I was getting destroyed early on in the game, but then I started stacking gear with INT and VIT on it, this gave me a large health pool, high damage, and high resistance.

I assume if you do the same but with DEX instead of INT you'll be less squishy.

Lol - i was playing Russian roulette, because there was only a 1 in 6 chanche i would get shot. But I got shot first time.
So now im gonna sue the event co-ordinator.

That makes more sense than the opening to this thread.
I also took time off work, and i knew it would be a 50/50 that there would be bugs.

Not blizzards fault, yours for expecting too much. and dont go on about " it should have worked day 1 blah blah" even if it is true - YOU are responsible for your action, not blizzard. They didnt ruin your day, you did.
i was peeved as well, but damn, i took it as things that happen launch day, in fact there is a hilarious chain email at work that I am going to have to reply to when i get the courage, detailing the fail of me taking a day off on Diablo 3 opening week. It is quite humerous.

If a man is offered a sandwich, and when he reaches out for it, the sandwich is taken away, whose fault is it that he doesn't have the sandwich, his for reaching for it, or the people who pulled the sandwich away by taking down the sandwich servers for emergency sandwich maintenance?

    see what i did there?

Yes I do, you made a strawman argument.

Amazing, someone else who understands how the world works when you put away the "on paper" BS.

"shove all the responsibility over to someone else and then start whining".... what? Battle.net uptime is the responsibility of no one but the people at Blizzard.

Spot on. This logic of "You should have known it WOULDN'T have worked (as promised) and because you didn't its your fault" is just ludicrous.

So, as a consumer I'm an idiot for thinking that I would able to use a product once it is available for sale, as promised by the seller on the day it is released? Yeh... that make's a lot of sense.

Everyone who occupies reality knew servers would be unstable for days.

Edit: Online games are a service, not a static product. That's why they sell you a licence to play on the servers.

No. I don't need a divorce... perhaps from Blizzard, but from my wife? Are you drunk? Only someone without a demanding job, wife and kids would make such a moronic statement.

If your time is so precious you should have did a bit of research into launch day problems that exist with every on-line game that's ever been launched.

Like I said... not my problem. Blizzard shouldn't have released it if it didn't work... simple. D3 is a product, like any other. Not for one second do I forgive the product not working due to issues that are integral to the product they are selling. Do you buy and car and expect it to not start for 24 hours? No, and D3 is no different.

Turns out it is your problem, since you're the one getting behind on work and whining on forums about your tragic first world problem. Take a little personal responsibly, anyone with an ounce of sense knew there would be problems in the first couple of days.

It's worded poorly, what it means is Fallen Tooth is a rare drop from salvaging, not exclusively a drop from salvaging rares, though you get them from rares too.

Hello, I'm playing on the US servers from SEA and I have 400+ ms.
    Don't worry, it's still playable.
Just a little annoying with the delay in attack and movement times, most specifically the item pick up.

It really is very playable compared to what you would expect with most games. I usually have around 99-230~ ms throughout the day on Diablo III (averaged from stable times today and beta experience), but for the past several hours I've had anywhere from 250-360ms. It will go down, but you really barely notice it.

The main issue is delay on picking things up, since that usually is pretty packet intensive.

I was at 400ish all evening and I averaged 50-60 in beta, and 20-30 in WoW. When an expansion comes out for WoW I always shoot up to 200-300 for a week or two, and then it goes back down. I have faith in Blizzard, they have a lot of top notch people working on it day and night.

I sure hope it gets harder
I'm lvl 18 with my wiz, and although i'm having a lot of fun, there's no real difficulty in normal
2 or 3 arcane orbs and everybody is dead

Normal is never hard in Diablo games, that's why they added inferno after hell, for people like being destroyed.

Why do people still cry over offline mode? You were told flipping ages ago it would never be implemented. You bought the game, so you are either just stressed due to launch day issues or have the brain power equivalent to a potato. The game is great, all the crying is literally over stuff people were told before they bought the game, and they bought it anyways. I am so glad you wasted $60 if all you're going to do is cry and try to kill others' good moods when we are enjoying the shit out of this game. In my opinion you deserve it and I hope that $60 was a lot to you.
How dare you demand that things improve!

Strive to achieve improvement through constructive channels, not by being angry, over-entitled assholes. I can guarantee you that they aren't just sitting on their asses laughing at us as we rage and try to log on, they are most definitely working those asses off to fix the problems associated with the launch. Shouting, raging and frothing at the mouth isn't going to make them come up any faster.

I'm entitled to play my game, thank you

Blizzard'd game, you should have read the licence agreement you signed.

North American servers (not US, NA servers have USA, Canada, Australia, and Latin America) have boatloads more people than the others, it makes sense that they'd be the ones having issues.

Do you know the population of Asia, bro????

As a matter of fact I do, it's not about the population though, it's about people playing D3.
