This thread really speaks to me, I've been listening to most of the music posted here since this thread went up.
Class: Demon Hunter
Song: Primer 55's cover of N.W.A's "Appetite for Destruction"
Why: It's a rapcore song about going on a shooting spree. Seems appropriate and I haven't seen too much rap represented in the thread.
Class: Demon Hunter
Song: Nine Inch Nails - "Eraser"
Why: Increasing soundscapes of anger mixed with the levelheadedness of structured drum beats and rhythm culminating in an onslaught of outpouring rage.
A Warm Place was always my favourite song from that album. Chilling
Definitely agreed! I was thinking about doing a song from his more recent album Ghosts I-IV to encompass the monk but this one seemed to fit better.
Apparently we have the Barbarian down pat. Instead of just posting a song I am putting out a general request that you explain why you feel it is appropriate to the class.

PST is fine, and my class can vary I am just wanting to make sure we have 1 person to eat damage.
There are no traditional "tanks" in Diablo 3. Monsters will attempt to attack what they can. If you are expecting to have a Monk or Barb tank all of the mobs on the screen while your ranged classes are not getting hit you will be surprised. Every class has defensive skills and passives for a reason.
Blizzard has pushed the game release to go after Blizzcon.
Official Blizzard Quote:
We had to do some major rework of game mechanics and art, to reflect today's gaming quality. The release date has been pushed to sometime after Blizzcon '12.
Well that would have been hard for them to do since there is no Blizzcon this year...
Bad lie is bad.
The issue with dodge is that your incoming damage is very RNG based, and can be extremely spiky. If you have a lucky string of dodges, you wont take any damage at all for a good long while, but if the opposite happens and the RNG Gods frown on you and you take 5-6 hits in a row without dodging any of them your health will be super low very quickly. Having a shield may slow down your spirit generation, but think about the huge armor and block values. Block based tanks will be less likely to take huge spikes in damage...
This just started sounding just like warrior/pally vs. druid tanking.
I'm out. http://gifb.in/ipsV
Keep in mind that arguments referring to "spike damage" only matter when other players are healing another player. If you are playing a monk and you can foresee incoming spike damage then you will know when to properly utilize a skill to offset that or you can rely on your own speed to heal yourself.
It seems to me that monks were specifically designed to not need a shield because they have abilities which inherently protect them.
lol talking about what is impossible before even played the game yet
i love those fanboiis, just keep on believing the hype
This coin has two sides: you're declaring that you can get something done you know absolutely nothing about as well. I hear a lot of talk and feel a lot of hot air on my face, but until I see it then you're just flapping your gums.
You think every Act of every difficulty will take 1.5 hours each to complete? I hope you're trolling.
skip cinematics
dont listen to stupid NPC talk
dont click every stupid barrel since the loot does not matter until end of nightmare
focus on finishing quest goals
??

He's probably pretty close on his time estimate of Normal but each difficulty after that will get exponentially harder, thus taking more time. I don't care how good you are at the game or how good your gear is, you will die. That's more time. Also, nobody has any idea just how much xp scales as you get closer to 50. There could very well be "hell level" type scenarios at certain levels.
blablabla game is hard
blablabla u will die
blablabla devs said game is sooo damnnnn hard lololotlorlololo
blablabalbla
i finish hell 2-3 days after release. nothing to discuss here.
if u really believe every shit spoken by some random art directors just to keep up the hype, enjoy ur disappointment
