    posted a message on Clan Top Mob (DIABLO 3 ONLY)
    I've applied.

    I'm an ex WoW player (played at a top 25 world level for the majority, 3 time gladiator S1-3), I'm 26, and I'm a small business owner. Active D3 player, looking to get perhaps a bit more serious with the game, especially after about a year when the majority of the balance issues are stamped out with items, classes, and of course the auction house.

    Name is Barnacles02 on the website.

    If you're looking for a community manager or forums manager, I'll be able to help there (If I like the guild atmosphere and we mesh well of course). I've run a number of websites ranging from a Nintendo fan website with about 100 active members, to a Warcraft guild that at it's best was world 42nd, to my own business website. I also have experience with leading players, keeping people calm, focused, and performing at their best in difficult situations. Probably because of my voice; people say I have a radio voice sometimes, but I don't believe them.

    Anyway, hit me up.

    posted a message on [US][SC] - Barbarian Tank LF Group or Clan to play with
    Hi there. I play a Barbarian, and I'm looking for a set group of people to play with that are intent on getting the best gear possible and playing in Inferno mode. I'm currently level 60 and just starting out in Inferno.

    I'm able to play most times, and able to play well into the night. Any time from 8:00pm EST and later is a good time for me.

    Have Skype or another VOIP client.

    Used to raid in Warcraft in Vanilla and Burning Crusade with a guild called Paradox; was World 72nd when I quit.

    posted a message on [US] - Looking for Small D3 Clan
    Hi there. My name is Barnacles, and I'm looking to join a clan.

    I've played Diablo, Diablo 2 and LoD and World of Warcraft all at the highest level. Most of my achievements were in World of Warcraft due to the nature of D1 and 2. I've soloed Uber Trist with a Javazon and Sorceress, and I've raided in Warcraft at a US 50 top level for nearly every tier as a Shadow Priest.

    I currently play a Barbarian, and am available at most times for play. Most times will be in the evenings and at night time. Late nights are absolutely fine.

    I'm a team player, and more than happy to help those willing to help me.

    Hit me up with a PM or post here.

    Thanks for your time.

    PS: I'm not interested in huge multi-game clans. I am only interested in small communities.

    posted a message on Upgrading an old PC with a new GPU
    Just before I start, know that I am poor, and I don't get much money very often, so my budget is super-limited. All I can afford for the time being is a new PSU and GPU, and even that is pushing it for me.

    Anyway, here is my current system specs; it's an older prebuilt HP with case that will be replaced soon:

    * 300w No-name prebuilt HP PSU----------Updating
    * NVidia EVGA 430GT 1GB Graphics Card----------Updating
    * ASUS (no name HP build) motherboard, 24 Pin molex and additional 4 pin molex slot built for a:
    * 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600. Still pretty fast. Could probably OC it. Maybe not.
    * 250GB Toshiba 2.5" Hard Drive.
    * 1 Sata Connected DVD/RW drive
    * 1 Multimedia Bay

    What I'm going to be doing is slowly replacing and upgrading parts so that I have a computer that will play Diablo 3 at any frame rate that is *playable*. I only care about two things; 1. It's playable with a decent frame rate, which it's close to on my current set up. 2. I can run the game at 1680 x 1050.

    What I'm purchasing **(All in CAD and bought on Newegg.ca)**. I'm able to purchase from NCIX (I think they are more expensive though), Newegg.ca, and Amazon.ca.

    * http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127649
    * http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182044

    I think these are respectable choices. I've heard good things from Rosewill, and they seem to be fairly reputable. The PSU should work with my MoBo and any new MoBo I get, and shouldn't be a bottleneck until I get another GPU. The GPU, however is always the most difficult part to get.

    Here's my dillema; I can't spend more than 140 dollars on a card, and that card with shipping is 165. It's over my limit, but I don't want to use so far outdated architecture that it won't last me more than a year.

    As well, I saw this card which is the exact same price, and this card which is also 140 dollars CAD.

    I don't know which to go with; they all have solid reviews, are all reputable, and I've even built a computer with a 550TI card before (for someone else, duh!). They have amazing power for the price. I just don't know what to go for! I am leaning for the Vapor X, however.

    Any help would be amazing, thank you so much!

    **Important Update, Amazon.ca is about 10 dollars cheaper than Newegg for me. Newegg really f..ks me on shipping.**

    As well, my other option is to get a 7750 http://www.amazon.ca...36101425&sr=8-1 and just save my money and not bother about the PSU. I know it'd be hard for any of you to not reccomend upgrading, but it really might make the difference in my wallet.

    Also, I'd only get the 7750 if it would work on a 300w PSU.

    Thanks!
