yea this is true, if your constantly relying on pots to survive and always resource starved your playing the class wrong. on inferno were things will be hitting like a truck, range will have the advantage of kiting things your "not suppose" to be able to kill. this just means range characters will be farming inferno sooner then melee because they are so gear dependent. this isnt only true for D3 but most games, in wow hunters were notorious for soloing bosses and abusing terrain ,A.i pathing and pets. with companions added range will have there own meat shields so we can free cast all day.

This is why ill be rolling 3 range casters first and saving and collecting gear for my monk and barbarian later. this doesn't mean you shouldn't roll a melee class first. roll w/e is most fun to you, not what is most efficient.

exactly. thank you for actually thinking. people on this forum make it seem like such a hard concept to grasp. in pretty much every single game on the planet like this ranged ALWAYS has the advantage over melee. people need to stop being so delusional because they are in love with the barbarian or monk.

its because people identify a lot of who they are on 3rd pixels and forget its just a game. overly compensating by being a heroic , strong , and a legend in virtual reality because their real life is no where as exciting.

Wizard: "Oh no, I'm out of Arcane Power and my health pot is on cooldown... if I could just..."
Witch Doctor: "Oh no, I'm out of mana, my minions are dead, and my health pot is on cooldown... if I could just..."
Demon Hunter: "Oh no, I'm out of Hatred and Discipline, and my health pot is on cooldown... if I could just..."
Monk: "Oh no, I'm out of Spirit and my health pot is on cooldown... if I could just..."
Barb: "Oh no, my health pot is on cooldown. This pisses me off. MAX RAGE BARB SMASH!"

its very easy to build a wiz demon hunter and witch doctor that will never run out of resource. ever. and still be extremely powerful. its more like:

Wizard: "Oh no, my health pot is on cooldown.. *kites around mob until dead*"
Witch Doctor: "Oh no, my health pot is on cooldown..*kites around mob until dead*"
Demon Hunter: "Oh no, my health pot is on cooldown.*kites around mob until dead*"
Monk: "Oh no, my health pot is on cooldown and this mob can 1-3 shot me....*returns to hell to farm more gear*"
Barb: "Oh no, my health pot is on cooldown and this mob can 1-3 shot me.... *returns to hell to farm more gear*"

yea this is true, if your constantly relying on pots to survive and always resource starved your playing the class wrong. on inferno were things will be hitting like a truck, range will have the advantage of kiting things your "not suppose" to be able to kill. this just means range characters will be farming inferno sooner then melee because they are so gear dependent. this isnt only true for D3 but most games, in wow hunters were notorious for soloing bosses and abusing terrain ,A.i pathing and pets. with companions added range will have there own meat shields so we can free cast all day.

with the zombie handler passive allowing you 4 zombie dogs, and with sacrifice with next of kin giving you a chance to regenerat a new dog with a 35%.

    what are the odds of

    all 4 resurrecting
    all 3 resurrecting
    only 2 resurrecting
    only 1 resurrecting
    and none.

math is not my strong point, but i know there are alot of people here that love theory crafting and calculating, can you help me out?

    thanks.

I mapped the stand still button to Space and it's the best imo. The thumb rests naturally there when the fingers are at 1-4.

yea space is the best, as a demon hunter ill be using this alot to micro. also in the options menu you can rebind your keys and not be stuck using 1-4. rebinding your skils to qwer will feel alot more natural and not so much of a stretch. witch will help in those long gaming sessions.

if you havent seen it yet, krippirrian goes over what he think are the optiaml settings.

when it comes to inferno, i think range classes especially demon hunter will have the edge. simply because we can kite and take no damage, dh has amazing escape and is more likely to kills mobs in inferno under geared then a melee under geared.

I'm more curious to know if it will affect channeling spells for the whole duration.

yea if kyoob is right, using the channeling spells seem the best use to maximize damage.

when you have a full stack of arcane dynamo, do you receive the 70% bonus damage to all the archon skills . or is 70% only affected by the 1st skill you use in archon form.

i'm guessing its the 1st one, all skills used in archon form will do an addtional 70% for the entire duration of archon forum.

i would love to hear what you guys think.
