Yeah I had a 5 stack also and lost it. Plus found two near perfect roll pieces of armor which I can sell for millions on the AH... I really hope I have those two. I just put the second piece into my stash when it crashed. Maybe it duped.. damn that would be sweet.
I didn't get it while playing WOW because I didn't play the AH there. It was easy to make gold in WOW so I didn't need to. Diablo you have to play the AH in order to gear up so yeah I would pay for it here.
But then I'd get no work done at work... most likely get written up or fired.. then have no job and play more Diablo.
Got these both in Act 2 tonight. The ring off belial and the amulet off a common demon lol.
After checking the AH...
Closest auction to the amulet is going for 20 million. So lets start that at 10 million and buyout 25 million.
The ring the closest is going for 3 million and it didn't have all the extra stats (didn't check int rings). I believe a firm starting price is 1.5 million, buyout be 4 million.
I'm also looking for barb 1hand weapons. 900+ dps with strength, vit, and LOH and/or a socket.
Will leave this up for 24 hours.

The hardest part i ran into is not using WotB to push him into his 3rd phase. Phase 2 is the hardest part this is where brawler really comes into play. Phase 3 is really easy you can leap (iron impact) the slams and also use Ignore pain. I was never less then 75% hp once i hit phase 3. make sure to use wotB the second you get into phase 3 and you can start damage. Then just Auto attack until it comes off CD again, my only other advice is to wait to use Wotb a second time until after he uses his pool ability
You joking? Phase 2 is the easiest of all the phases.
I just stand there beating on Belial and wait for revenge procs to kill off the adds. Phase takes me a minute at the most. He doesn't go range and shoot his poison balls anymore so it's a huge nerf over pre-1.0.3.
Phase 3 was just a dps race really. His big attack doesn't hurt anymore if you time your leaps and shield wall correct.
I have 10% base MF. Once I get 5 stacks.. I see a lot of 3 rares drop from elite packs. Then again I sometimes see 2 rares.. and very rarely only see 1 rare.
I wanted to start a topic on what makes an offhand valuable.

For me these items when found are the most difficult to price. Hell I could have vendored several of these without knowing it when they were really worth a million or more on the AH.
So I wanted to make up a list of what everyone thinks is a good item to save. I'll update this post when I get more feedback from players.
I'm looking for several different price ranges (gold only please): 100k-500k, 501k-1 million, 1 million+
What key stats on each item should we look for and what is considered junk? If this works out, maybe we can expand this for class armor pieces.

Other Stats I don't care about. Need it to have 200+ str or it won't be an upgrade over my current sword of 755 dps 245 str. Faster the better 1.40+ (dagger would be awesome). If it has a socket, then you have my full attention.
Paying upwards to a million gold or maybe more depending on secondary stats.
All they had to do was give a higher drop percentage of gear in Act 1 that would help us in Act 2. I did weeks worth of butcher runs to find nothing that would help me with Act 2. They made it so I need resist all for my barb to progress in inferno. Yet resist all gear barely dropped and when it did, it wasn't enough of the stat to make Act 2 worth trying.
They forced us to sell all the medicore gear on the AH to save up for that one piece that would help us.
