Now that he's responded to that list, a lot of other people are going to be pissed that he didn't respond to THEIR list!

Jokes aside, I like the improvements that they are working on and hope 1.03 hits soon.

Too bad their UI isn't modular and I hope they can find a workaround (or make a 'cheap' replacement)

posted a message on D3: Unfinished. Blizzard dropped the ball.
Issues I have with Inferno are:

    1. Limiting the amount of 'builds' viable. This may change after people get more gear and are able to clear content with other viable builds, but at the moment most classes have abilities/passives that you HAVE to have in order to progress. (Will have to see how they address the issue or if they will let the gears 'fix' the problem). They did talk about having a lot of 'viable' builds.

On the other hand, I kind of like it that I have to try out different builds to find the most effective way to do stuff. I'm still not sure about the issue >.<

    2. The fact that almost everyone thinks they should be able to progress through inferno after a week or less the game has released. Blizzard specifically added another layer of difficulty to add more challenge to the game, for the more hard core players. A few will still find it 'easy', some will be able to progress through it, and most will not be able to get through it. (As with any games with multiple difficulty levels.)
If its not meant for you or if its too difficult to get through a certain portion of the game, farm gear at lower difficulties. As a barb I had to farm act 4 of hell for a while to get through inf Act 1, then farmed a LOT of act 1 to semi-decently get through act 2. It seemed impossible at first for me too but I see hope in being able to progress through the acts with the right gear.

If you think the gear grind is tedious, then I would first ask what you thought the end-game would be like for diablo (especially after they emphasized that inferno will be difficult, and would take a long time for most people to progress through, if not impossible), but as far as I know, there is the option of refunding the game illegitimately through blizzard. I suggest you do so.
Seriously, if enough people refund their game at 60 because they find the gear grind boring, then it might 'force' blizzard to find new ways to make gear grind more enjoyable for more people, which in turn makes the game even more enjoyable for me.

This would have applied to the always online thing as well. If enough people decided to not buy the game because of the 'drm', them it would have 'forced' blizzard to think of a way to make the game playable offline as well, without compromising the security/integrity of the online gameplay.

I have a feeling the 170k hitting one will have a very distinguishable animation (a pretty long one) before it actually attacks. (considering its attack is SO much stronger than the others)
Like charging up his beak? or something. Of course he would be rooted while charging up his attack.
then you would be able to look at it and get away from its attack range, and then its not about getting unlucky as melee (unless you face a waller >.<) its about you not being able to see it happening.
Of course, it should be very distinguishable even in the midst of battle.

EDIT: Im pretty sure Jay Wilson mentioned in a tweet that some abilities will not be tied with others because it was almost impossible to deal with. Maybe this is the case with this creature +waller?

hmm... monsters don't drop health globes past normal apparently... Are we only to rely on the regen, small life leech and hp on kill + 5 min pots for health??
I think it's safe to assume that's a mistake. I'm guessing what they meant to imply is that the drop rate is the same for all difficulties. It wouldn't make sense for no health globes beyond normal. Many passives and skills rely on them... blizzard wouldn't make those skills useless.

Yeah from the video that blizz gave us about 'promising us we'll die' there definately were health globes on the ground.

Problem is, will we be able to kill them fast enough so we can actually utilize the health globes before we die? :D

posted a message on Why all 2 hands weapons are so slow compare to their 1 hand counter part?
Its going to depend on your build. 2 handers are for slow but strong attacks. 1 handers are for weaker but more faster attacks. (Like they should be)
Different skills will benefit from different weapons and I dont think everyone will blindly use 2hand weapons.
Actually I think the opposite would be more true because dual wielding generally feels more 'faster' and a lot of people like fast attacks :

Good luck to him though! For if he is successful he will change the course of time itself! Justice will prevail!!!

But seriously, I dont honestly see the point of having a challenge like this when theres no ultimate reward other than satisfaction. Good luck to him! I personally will be going reeeaaallyy slow.

Well to be fair, self satisfaction is a really a big 'reward' for a game like diablo.
I know a lot of people who just wanted their characters to have the best gear possible for no other reason (no new challenges were added until waaaaay later) than just wanting to see their character stats go up :)
