I really don't think Blizzard was intentionally trolling everyone who didn't get into the beta. Even if it was a bad move by Blizzard, they were willing to risk it because they thought it wouldn't really matter much. Do you honestly see people cancelling their pre-orders/not buying this game because they didn't get an FoS/sigil? I'd like to think the game itself would have much more value that that.
Do you want Blizzard to retract their announcement? That would be a worse move IMO.
