yep but previous one wasn't that big. Right now the botting forums are in chaos :D
Even the new accounts got banned.

    Hawt.

(lol, you are right, the demonbuddy forums are nothing but ban threads, roflol.)

I've never heard of that forum but just had a look, yes they are crying the blues over there. :QQ: :hehe:

Thats the big player for Diablo 3 bots, hitting them hits the biggest portion of the botters in Diablo 3 right now, Blizzard pulling out the big guns.

posted a message on The PvP blog is MASSIVE...
"You have no experience in D2 PvP"

    Really?

    REALLY?

Even though I have clearly stated that I in fact DO, and HAVE played Diablo 2 PvP over the thousands of hours logged into that game? (I don't know why you have such a hard time differentiating "I found better PvP games" from "I never played D2 PvP" ?)

I cannot communicate with someone who does not even grasp the basic concept of reading.

Bottom line, PvP in Diablo 2 was considered casual at best, received FAR more complaints then praise (as evidenced by the patch history concerning PvP directly), and will not, in any way shape or form be making its way into Diablo 3. (no open duels)

The only person beating a dead equine here is you.

(Still waiting for you to show me a single organized cash tourney for D2 PvP, the ONLY Blizzard game(s) (D1/D2) ever made to NOT have several said tourney's for its PvP play....) I know you think linking a couple of small fry online friendly tournaments is the same as a massive organized event, but the cold hard reality is, it isnt, at all.

For easy reference; this is what "Huge PvP" competitions look like:

    http://evo.shoryuken.com/
    http://www.majorleaguegaming.com/home

You say things like "proven wrong", where exactly? Go ahead, so me a single one thing you have "proven me wrong" in, I'll wait. (also, fun fact, in this very thread, the very thing you accuse me of, "blatant insults" you have done 3x more then anyone else in this thread, your astonishing hypocrisy is out for all to see. )

    http://www.gamespot....2600303/?page=1
    http://ca.ign.com/ar.../08/diablo-ii-2

Notice how neither even MENTION PvP? Literally, not even mentioned, in a review, from multiple sources, roflol.

    The same sites reviews on SC1, notice the amount of the review focused on PvP;

    http://www.gamespot....review-2533189/
    http://ca.ign.com/ar.../03/starcraft-2

Im wondering if at some point you will come to the realization that Diablo 2's PvP was hardly even considered a "feature" of the game at the time. It was not even considered worth mentioning in the games reviews.

The things you are lauding about Diablo 2's PvP are the same things that Blizzard is looking to expand upon in its PvP system for D3, teams, arenas, rules, etc. (the very same things people enforced to make Diablo 2's PvP less messy and random) AKA, they are looking to make ACTUAL PvP, instead of just throwing out a "hostile" button and hoping for the best. (exactly what happened in D2)

But let me guess, that's too "Corporate" and "Mainstream" right? (the irony of you saying that about Diablo 3 and NOT Diablo 2 is hilarious BTW, Diablo 2 is considered a massive mainstream success.)

inb4 your inevitable post not addressing anything I have said, random insults, and possibly a new youtube video.

The real idiots on this thread are the ones that believe that Athene actually made the OP.

    Who the hell is Athene?

A "world record holding" gamer who has yet to achieve anything in any skill based game ever.

In other words, a decent min/max-er, nothing more.
so much hate lol, i wana se u raping him in arena, then talk shit. Woot, u cant? aww

What arena? (still dont see one in D3)

And are you seriously suggesting that Diablo PvP is in any way skill based? If you are your a moron.

How about this, an actual SKILL based game buttercup?

A fighting game, a shooter, a MOBA, etc. Something determined by player skill. If I had a bagillion people GIVING me gear in D3, I could faceroll the arena like anyone else could, exactly 0 skill required.

All Athene just did was kite, for a long period of time, that is more a test of patience and consistency then any kind of "skill".
Arena in WoW, u dumbwit.Haters are truly retarded. Athene owned SC2, but it's not a skill based game for you too, right?

    lol, arena in WoW...

But SC2 is a different beast, and one I would agree is very skill based.

Has he played SC2 at all in the last year?

Also, im surprised you can talk/type, with Athenes balls stuffed in your mouth like that.

Jay Wilson wouldn't even have a job right now if it weren't for the above ^^
This is a discussion about professionalism, not titles associated with their name.
Bad job trying to turn the topic elsewhere.

Last time I checked, David wanted to make a claymation turn based game, and needed Morhime and Co. to make it into the games they were.

Wilson worked on DOW and COH before D3, both games were fantastic successes.

David without Blizz backing made one of the biggest flops in gaming history (as in, an ACTUAL flop, not an imagined flop, it actually closed his studio down it flopped so bad.)

Again, so Jay spouted off a bit to much, get a life, get over it.

He is a GAME DEVELOPER, not a politician, not a public figure, just a dude who makes games.

    Get your head on straight.

I could name a dozen big name producers/developers/etc that have a faaaaaaaaaaar longer list of "unprofessional" statements then what Jay has said.

Yet those are tiny little blips on the radar, because Blizzard fans are a writhing mass of garbage, and cling to anything they can hound on endlessly, the lack of any sort of glimmering hope of a life is all but snuffed by these mongrels.

Dave called it like it is and has customer feedback to back it up. Jay couldn't be a man about it and instead acted like a 13 year old. You don't ever think anyone is awesome and a loser at the same time. If he just said "fuck that" then I'd understand but he made a personal remark about Dave with his "loser" addition and for that he's not getting a pass.

Should we dredge up people from this community's online comments and judge them the same way?

Because THAT would be far, FAR worse, don't ya think?

The community IS actually full of children (but not all, and you can certainly find plenty of adult comments that are respectful despite the generalization). Children are the largest demographic of gamers so, duh, most of them are going to be childish. Jay Wilson is obviously not a child but certainly acted like one. His facebook is going to be one of the very few ways to get a candid view of him and this is how he reveals himself when not behind PR like this letter. You don't get to be in a position of power like this where your position is owed to your customers when you can't handle yourself appropriately. There are plenty of Game Directors who don't have evidence of acting like this.

Sure he's allowed to say "fuck you" to someone. But if he's going to be dumb enough to say it to the creator of the franchise that gave him his fucking job, you better actually back your shit up (like Dave did). He didn't. Just a flippant statement like any kid would. Your job as a leader (and a Director is a leader of multiple leaders) is to set an example. When I get paid to do what he does and control huge franchises like that, you be sure to put me in my place if you catch me doing shit like that.

    M rated game.

Average age every time a community poll comes up is 27-ish. (24-30 average demograph)

They aint children bud. They are sad, painfully obsessed, socially aberrant, keyboard warriors.

    Case in point;

Lets take average Diablo 3 forum troll #45687 as an example.

Lets grab a weeks worth his of comments from the site.

Then show them publicly, to their family, their co workers, etc.

What do you think the reaction would be?

Yeah man, so Jay got pissed at his team getting slammed, thats NOTHING compared to the back and forth mudslinging several "un-named" companies practice on a weekly basis.

Its just something for the meme obsessed community to rant and rave about for weeks on end, they desperately cling to anything new to attempt (and fail) to spawn some form of wit.

I have literally lost respect for gamers as a whole due to the sheer quantity of morons that heaves and pupates under the thick and dank blanket of the inter-webs.

But hey, maybe its just me, amirite?
