posted a message on A possible solution for drop rate complaints
Good idea, but Blizzard can simply increase the drop rate... PROBLEM SOLVED.

Blizzard needs to take its head out of its *** and get out of this mind set that gamers have to either give up there day jobs to find nice gear or buy it from the (RM)AH. This is the problem really. Blizzard think they are entitled to their'cut' from Loot.

For any other game, the developers want players to find nice loot and have fun, after all... what do they care or have to lose?

The answer to this question is the driving force behind D3 unfortuanately.

Dont get me wrong I love playing D3 and I'm working my way to my last 2 Level 60 characters, but I cant see myself playing this game for years like I did with D2.

Once you've completed a game like Diablo the most fun can be had from finding sweet Loot. With the current drop rates, its just not worth it IMO.

Blizzard should simply have a meeting and say... "Ok, so the AH was a bad idea, and the players are the idiots we thought they were. Lets just leave the RMAH & AH as is but increaese the drop rate to the same as D2 and try and save face'.

Ok... this thing is crazy good.

In fact... Blizzard should be both envious and almost a little embarassed that they haven't already released an app for both Android and iOS that works EXACTLY like this.

I'm actually pretty floored at how well this works. Cheers mate, this is awesome... fantastic!

(I just wish I found this 3 days ago when a blew 1/2 my gold on an Amulet for a lowly 78.8 DPS increase... thats not 78K BTW just 78 points)

I would happily pay for this if you bring it over to iOS. I have an Android Tablet (Xoom), but don't purchase anything from Google. I have an iMac at home and iPhone and stick with iTunes for purchases, I dont need 2 lots of funny money. Not counting my X360 LIVE account with more funnymoney (M$Points).

yeh.. I'd go for the new spear. 4k HP loss is marginal compared to the LOH gain, plus the increased DPS on the current one is made up with Crit %, so per regular hit your prob doing more DPs with the new one.

posted a message on Quick cold blooded question
It increases ANY damage to an enemy +20%, IF they have been hit with cold damage prior.

As in.. it doesnt increase the damage of cold, rather it increases how much damage they take if they are under the effects of cold.

Works great on enemys hit with Blizzard first as they will take 20% more damage from any other attack while under the effects of cold/frozen.

"From a blizzard standpoint, it would make the AH servers ALOT more stable and less laggy by severely reducing the amount of items on the AH, and not having worthless items up by the 1000s."

... need I say more except... You do realise that Diablo 3 was designed as a Loot Sweat Shop? (rhetorical)

I agree with you BTW. But D3 is doomed. Forget about it in its current state.

posted a message on Cannot decide on a MAIN charater
Ok, so I've taken the entire cast through the first act and done this before I choose a main character to invest in.

I kind of like playing them all, but my friends want me to hurry up and just pick one characer as they are all playing just one high level character and much further ahead. I cant join them yet because I am too low and want to enjoy the story.

So... I cant make my mind up and just thought what the hell... I'll just put up the pros and cons of each character as I see and make a poll.

    So far I have...

    - Barbarian - Lvl 22 - Pros - Easy to play and smashing stuff is cool. Cons - Feels uninteresting.
    - Monk - Lvl 18 - Pros - Feels indestructable, Kung fu looks cool. Cons - He's hard to kill, but at the same time his DPS is lower so it feels slower going with him.
    - Wizard - Lvl 17 - Pros - Lots of different skills, play style very interesting. Cons - character feels less exciting than the rest of the cast.
    - Witch Doctor - Lvl 9 - Pros - Lots of cool pets, skills and buffs. Cons - Slower character to play with and requires a lot of pet and skill management.
    - Demon Hunter - Lvl - 12 - Pros - Interesting play style and cool looking skills. Cons - Constant gun and run style becomes tiresome.

Rant Validated! Yep, sounds like a typical marriage to me and not unlike my own.

I feel your pain mate. I took the 16th off work for similar reasons plus we have a 2 year old, and I hardly got to play it at all.

I've just been playing from about 8pm-10pm every night, which she's used to and that will be about the extent of it.

"shove all the responsibility over to someone else and then start whining".... what? Battle.net uptime is the responsibility of no one but the people at Blizzard.

Spot on. This logic of "You should have known it WOULDN'T have worked (as promised) and because you didn't its your fault" is just ludicrous.

So, as a consumer I'm an idiot for thinking that I would able to use a product once it is available for sale, as promised by the seller on the day it is released? Yeh... that make's a lot of sense.

Just play temporarily on the EU servers

And then when you switch back to the US servers, freak out because your characters have disappeared. ;)

Exactly. It works but the characters I have made in the short time I did play it are not there.

No. I don't need a divorce... perhaps from Blizzard, but from my wife? Are you drunk? Only someone without a demanding job, wife and kids would make such a moronic statement.

If your time is so precious you should have did a bit of research into launch day problems that exist with every on-line game that's ever been launched.

Like I said... not my problem. Blizzard shouldn't have released it if it didn't work... simple. D3 is a product, like any other. Not for one second do I forgive the product not working due to issues that are integral to the product they are selling. Do you buy and car and expect it to not start for 24 hours? No, and D3 is no different.

posted a message on Thanks for nothing Blizzard
So I've taken the day of work to play D3 and have spent the afternoon just looking at a login screen with errors.

I don't care about Blizzards technical issues, thats not my problem. They are a company like any other, selling a product that I have purchased that so far doesn't work. They have chosen to make a game that requires internet and server access even for a single player experience. I have no issues with technical issues when I'm trying to play online multiplayer but this... is just ludicrous.

I have a wife, young daughter and a demanding job and my time is very precious and for this reason I have actually taken time off work to play D3 as I have very little time to do it in my day to day life. I don't want to go for a walk, get something to eat or chill out. I had taken time of work, using holiday pay and causing more work to go back to tomorrow for nothing.

In about 30 minutes It'll be time to go and pick up my daughter, put on some dinner and then it'll be back to daily grind tomorrow and trying to squeeze in an hour each night of free time to play D3... thats if its working of course.

Can't Blizz work on their servers, they are doing this for you!

Ummm... no... there doing it so they don't end up with a law suit for selling a product that is faulty. We're NOT talking about a game that has an ADDITIONAL online feature. They made it a bloody requirement then can't even get it to work.
