So I'm not as good as a lot of you. Clearly this video I did stand in the fire on purpose just to show how fast I die. But a lot of times I don't even have time to react. I feel that my class can't stand toe to toe with anything or he will die instant unless its a plain old melee. Once range / casting is brought into it I am pretty much a dead man.

So here is a video example of my poor gameplay:

Any help would be great. Like I said I rather stand up to the mobs not run around like a chicken head cut off. Not sure if that is possible even if I stack a billion life blizzard has made the healing abilities capped if I recalled because of how others gain our effects near us.

    Thanks!

Because people can control if they were following the game before launch. A lot of people couldn't control if they got into the beta. Even after trying multiple contest.
So now its control? Why should all fans get every reward? Why should someone that wants to get something be able to get it? You keep changing the logic you are using and applying it to different cases of the same situation. If the fan deserves the Beta sigil now, why don't they deserve to get the Inferno sigil just because they are a fan? Exclusive rewards by their very nature mean exclusive. CE, Mark of Valor, and Beta are all the same exact situations of exclusive rewards that exclude some people. They exclude people in different ways but they all have the chance of excluding fans. The problem is that you are creating entirely arbitrary rules for what is proper and what is not. Even when those rules conflict with themselves.

But nothing I have said is conflicting anything. Ill break it down some (its late and I have 20 things going on at once here, so I may have just not been putting my ideas down clearly today) Take this post as my -view- on it.
    • Class Unlocks - Anyone can get these as long as they had knowledge. (They can control this)
    • An Item ingame - Anyone can get this. Yes it may take a VERY VERY long time, or they may have to buy this off the RMAH (They can control this)
    • CE - There are still CE's out there not bought. It may cost a lot of money to get, BUT if someone wants those wings, they can. Even in other countries, there are copies on Ebay right now (They can control this)
    • Pre-order bonuses and World First achs (these dont apply to D3 I guess) BUT people have control over these. They have the option to pre-order or not. And the world first is based on skill. If they had the skill, the won.
There is always some control over it. Even when its a limited thing (such as world first) its based on something. [Now I know saying "controlling your skill" is borderline, but that's how I feel on that, that's fair game.]

Now with the beta. There are so many people that have been dying to get into the beta. They have been following just as much as the next guy. But there really was no (or how about I say, enough control.. that might be a better way to word it? [Now I know you're going to reply "wheres the line between enough control", I would say this is the line, you're welcome to give other examples])
    It was 100% based on luck (keep in mind, tho everything in D3 is based off luck, you can keep going until your luck pays off with enough hard work, unlike with the beta keys). Yes there were contests, but those were also based on luck most of the time. (there were a few "first come first serve kind of ones, but the number of keys in those were so small it was kinda meh);

I mean its all going to come down to opinions in the end of course. But I just feel the beta thing is just out there enough to give it a fair shot to everything. People were already sad they couldnt get in, It just seems like this was kind of a double reward and I see why it bugs them.

(Now this last part there was just a thought, I know you're going to try and quote it saying "im changing the reason its bad again, im not =P)
Hey I never saw this one coming from you but I love your post a lot. I agree with this entirely.

Hey guys don't get me wrong I think the reward for being in closed beta was more then enough. Even though this is just a feat of strength I am a darn collector. I love Diablo so much I collect everything even novels, books, strat guides that I will never read but got it for the 80 pages of armor and etc.

Another big big thing is trying to get everything possible in my character profile page. This includes Feat of Strength and for people who played World of Warcraft I think you will admit Feat of Strength actually had a different feeling then how Blizzard is brushing it off as.

Not only that WoW had 1000's and 1000's and 1000's of achievements and they were not linked from char to char and you did not feel as special and etc but with Diablo you do and I think that really makes a big difference.

So for someone who likes to get everything possible of course fairly work for it this is like cutting one my fingers off and damn I would trade one right now for a darn FoS.

Blizzard is full of crap. Feat of Strength is an achievement. It's just not counted as points nor is there a reward tied to them. OH WAIT! They got into closed beta and are rewarded with a bragging rights wtf.

it usually has it's own Tab in game too so it's almost like special things they taken out of the game or added a special one time event. To me Feat of Strength is the most honorable achievements of them all.

Blizzard thinks if its not worth points then its not an achievement.

Personally this had upset me because as much as I tried to get into Closed Beta I just had no luck winning contests and etc. I for one am one of these type of people who have a disorder when it comes to trying to collect and achieve everything possible in a game. If I can't or something breaks then I lose interest and Grrr this is already happening to me.

I feel like one Closed Beta testers had all the reward from actually playing the game, showing their friends and etc. This is just a slap in the face saying haha sucker up yours.

Again this my own personal opinion but its how I feel and being a big collector I feel this is really going to make me sad till the 15th. yes after the 15th I will be a bit happier but I will always be sad when I check my friends profiles.

Australia = 5pm on the 15th. WTF!? That's only 7 hours left of the day. Why not call it an early16th release and stop assing people around.

So much for taking the 15th off work and playing it all day. Better let the boss know I'll be in... and in a foul mood.

The actual game better be available for purchase before then, you know.... since all the shops ******** close at 5pm!

I agree they should make it on the 16th for you guys like it always is and should be :) So more hours of delay!

One thing people are not taking into account on the created channels, is using WoW as example, the channels you create are only server wide. now consider there is only 1 regional server, the dynamics of operating a system for server wide chat has completely changed, he demands and sheer numbers of channels on one server is crazy.

for in game, I found that Skype in the background, once you switch on push-to-talk is an awesome free voice chat... beats typing any day.

Not really. I will not bother listing so many ways but IRC for example has been used for so long and their system is pretty much based on that. Even if the entire world not just regions were to use it you could have as much as you need. Also the custom channels were used by like 5% of the population.

Could also do something like /create channel Sexton and it would be like you are now in channel Sexton5189 for example. So no claiming Help General or you know if your group name is the same as 10 others no wars over the channel lol.

Are you going to add channels and such or will it be just like a messenger type like Starcraft 2?
There are currently no plans to make any kind of guild system and our goal is to make a Blizzard experience in to one whole experience so you will be able to chat with your friends playing WoW, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3.

I must say this bothers me a ton. Being an old school gamer and knowing that the internet has painfully turned into nothing but a large social networking including gaming... I just don't understand why Blizzard is going so backwards here. They are not just trying to stop guilds but they seem to be trying their hardest to prevent community of any type within Diablo 3.

For example I run a small community of gamers and there is about 2 dozen of us getting D3. We would have died and enjoyed creating a in game channel just like WoW, D2 and like 100's of other games where we can get groups with our friends and even talk and even share items that we get with a simple anyone want this before I vendor it or hell look what I just found and link an item and everyone is just amazed.

I really don't get why their hindering the community experience and were not asking for guilds but thats all they say is we don't want guilds and well sorry sir but no one asked for them we asked for custom channels :(

"So many people with mulitple beta keys"

You sure they have beta keys and not account access. I'm starting to think no one actually has a clue what their talking about lol... Most people don't have keys they just have their account flagged for access and there is no way they can give you their key even if they wanted to because there is none.

I thought these videos were in the past but them agreeing with the UI Issues this must be in the future hehe, But this was not a bad video. I kind disliked the past diaries but it does kind of give you a bit of lore of the background development and that's pretty cool.

    Quote from Molster

I was actually surprised by the number of positive feedback from those armor sets.
I like a good deal of them myself actually as well. I think they did a great job.

    To each their own!

I hate to agree with you since I love trolling ya <3, But yeah I am actually impressed so far with most the armor sets. The only ones I disliked and not even dislike but would pick last were the monk/witch hunter and mainly its just not my style.

But damn they are pretty fine armor sets. I bet the WoW players are crying wanting some new sets but then again the Panda Tier armor looked pretty badass the last time I looked so it just seems like overall Blizzards on their game with armor sets haha.

posted a message on why no d3 beta invite for SEA people
idk, I have 3 accounts most full with all the blizz games even the classics and I have never been in any beta nor have I ever been flagged (like botting, economy exploitation, etc)

I sometimes wonder if being Canadian has a reason to this.
