But ofc, i havent been playing WOW the last 8 years like most of you, that knows blizzard rules in and out.
Don't be a retarded douchebag. The paypal thing was added in specifically for diablo and has little or no affiliation with WoW. You're just an illiterate dumbass who's irresponsible.
"I have done programming" is far different from "I am a professional programmer for a living" and all of the buzzwords you use to prove you know programming is terminology you would learn from the first 2 weeks of your intro to any OOP language. 2/10

Come back and visit us little folks when you move up from burger flipper to cashier.
Come back when you learn how the real world works, it's called an internship and the only burgers i get near are the ones you flipped to make my lunch since you clearly have no clue about higher education and moving on to a big boy job.
D3 has far less bugs and stuff in it at launch than D2 ever did. Are you a programmer? I mean, one who does it for a living? If not, then you have no idea...
D2 had a LOT less development time and was more cutting edge than D3. D3 also has and had more staff working on it than D2. While Blizzard wants people to use the AH, player trading isn't anything new and was quite frequent in D2, they should have absolutely expected people continue the practice and built to make sure they could track it.
I have done programming, and I'm very intimately aware of the issues around building a system and then going back to it because a new feature needs to be added, and all of the fun late hours of debugging because for some odd reason class x is inheriting p from class q, because some idiot decided to spaghetti code b to a. The fact of the matter is though, having a secure and stable trading system established is not something that should have been foreign when they first started development on D3, as it was a custom already established in D2. All this tells me is that there was either very poor planning at the ground level of the game's design, or this particular corner was cut off completely to encourage AH use. Either scenario is troubling.

Yea that's what I just did actually but I didn't notice a significant difference.. Does whimsey share Act3 and Act4 item loot tables?
I'm not contributing much, but I believe blizzard said that whimseyshire was always supposed to be the equivalent of A4 of the difficulty you're in. I have no clue if this concept extended to loot tables though, I'm grasping at straws here.
I am going to have to say that I am pretty pissed at this point. I bought an item off the auction house for $250. It was an amulet that has 15% Attack speed increased and is a set item. (blackthorne medal). One of the main reasons this was worth so much was due to the attack speed benefit from the item. Now that the attack speed on the item that i just bought decresed from 15% to 7% (what blizzard says is a 50% reduction) I want 50% of my money back! This is a scam and a great way for blizzard to make money. Lets buff items (which makes them expensive) so people buy them (Blizzard make some money), and then next patch we'll just nerf them -- repeat. Blizzard, if you are going to come up with genious idea of real money auction house, those items need to keep their worth. I purchased an item that was worth $250, and just because of a patch, I get screwed. This is not right and something needs to be done. Maybe I didn't follow the patch preview closely enough, but the last time I saw an update it was still up for debate for how the attack speed increase bonus would be handled. If items are going to go to crap, just say so Blizzard!
I don't feel like reading through two pages so I'm just adding 2 cents in case nobody has made the point already. Blah blah it's your own fault blah, you knew they were nerfing ias. While you say that last you knew "it was still up for debate for how the attack speed increase bonus would be handled", the debate was never whether or not it would be nerfed, it was always going to be nerfed. You make it sound like it might be left alone or even buffed perhaps...no. It was always going to be a nerf, the only question was to what extent.
Why would you buy something that you know is moments from nerf? Better yet, why would you spend $250 on a couple of pixels? Are you aware that's more than 4 times the price of the game itself? And an amulet, no less? Lastly, I can't feel bad for your pay-to-win strategy backfiring on you. Play, get better, win.
Fail #1 for ambiguous, borderline misleading, title. Something tells me people will be visiting this thread to see what improvements there are for wizards in 1.0.3
And also if your argument were that you can just see the orb, magic weapon has a visual change lol. Probably just as noticeable as the orb. Even if it's the same elemental damage type it becomes more exaggerated when active.
Fail #2 for being retarded. In some situations the visual is nigh impossible to see, Blizzard has stated this themselves. Just because you don't have a weapon in which this is the case doesn't mean others don't, the world still spins while you're not around. Oh, and a little light is hardly "just as noticeable" as an actual object floating around your character in addition to generating extra projectiles for that matter. Try harder.
Yeah, item level is just a number that that shows you the "quality" of the item, affecting the stat budget, or in d3's shitty loot world, possible stat budget, you'll likely roll terrible stats still because they ruined itemization in this game.
In World of Warcraft, level 85 characters wear gear with item level over 400.
I've died to that retarded wasp bug so many times. I'm pretty sure if they are off screen when they do their shoot animation then their "bullets" are invisible to you.
I'm doing siege runs nonstop. Rakkis crossing wp, kill 5 elites, look for underbrigde chest, kill SB, repeat, takes about 15-20 minutes, but phat lewts.
And as its standard for blizzard, they nerfed underbridge and SB, after all we are not supposed to farm for gear in a farming game, we need to use their brand new RMAH and farm with a credit card.
And we can't play the game the way we want, we are supposed to farm entire acts, because, in Noob Wilson words, the ''story is so great, and has so much replaybility, players are supposed to experience it all the time''.
Makes me sick, every time..
This... A lot of this. I've actually been moving away from d3 for a while already and I was positive I'd be glued to it for a least 6months - 2years. Instead it lasted me 3 weeks or less. D2 easily lasted me a full year for just my first round of addiction, I'm not sure how many times my addiction relapsed. It's not impossible to repair the game but it's very unlikely they'll pull it off, I hate you Jay Wilson.
OP asked for Diablo 2 item database =/ please learn to read before you call him names...
You're an absolute imbecile, can I call you names? Because OP absolutely specifically asked for a Diablo 3 (read: "THREE") database and he's complaining that his search queries are returning d2 results instead.
While I am always wholeheartedly amused when people who are dead wrong try to correct those who are right, I must request that you learn to read before trying to call other people out. It'll make the world a smarter place

Lastly...
"Only" 5 minutes? You mean the longest lasting buff duration in the game?
